Why Have I suddenly lost the ability to use tunes Radio? If I click on Music now It does not give me teh option for radio any more.

itune radio can play only in selected region ( Like USA) so make sure that your itune account is set to USA. If you change store to some place else that are not in the list, you are lost the ability to access to itune radio.

I've suddenly lost the ability to run a slideshow

For some reason, I lost the ability to run a slide show when in the event view. It worked moments ago. I created a show, selected music saved and now it wont work for that event or any other.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. First try rebooting. If that doesn't help delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. So why would Firefox suddenly lose the ability to do tabbed browsing?

I have a new Samsung NF310 running Windows 7 Starter on which I installed Firefox, probably version 4.X, a week ago. All operated normally until today, when if I click on a new tab I get the little circle that says "We're working on it", but the new tab never opens, after as much as fifteen minutes. I closed and re-opened Firefox, and re-booted the computer to no effect. I then uninstalled Firefox and installed version 3.6, which is what is loaded now. Now a new tab lights up as long as the cursor is over the tab, but clicking on the tab has no effect. I've been loading various software, but otherwise cannot think of any changes in Firefox's environment here.

You might try connecting each computer to the working switch port just to be sure you don't have a problem with the computers. Then try a working computer on the other switch ports to be sure the switch is fully functional. Similarly, check out the modem/router with each computer. This will verify if all the hardware is functional.
If the hardware is all OK, then check your Network configs for all the computers and be sure they are properly configured. Then shut down the computers, switch, and cable modem. Wait at least one minute. Then turn on the cable modem/router and wait until the status lights indicate communication with the ISP. Then power up the switch. Last, power up the computers.

I have a 13 inch Macbook. Why have I suddenly lost my internet connection?

spoke with my ISP tech support. My router was o.k.-for the most part, and my modem was fine. He had me bypass the router and connect the Ethernet cable directly to my mac. My Internet connection returned-and then was gone again.
I checked my Internet,cable as suggested, but didn't see any obvious problems; it wasn't loose or damaged. The error messages I get are" Safari can't connect to the Internet", and "The Ethernet cable is unplugged". Then there is something about checking what is on the other end of the device.. I'm sorry, I cant remember the rest of the message.
I have done everything I can. I have rebooted the modem and the router, unplugged everything-all the standard stuff, to no avail..
The cable people are coming next week, but I would rather fix it myself!

Depends on what input plug you'll be using on your TV. VGA, DVI, Composite or HDMI. You'll need a Mini-DVI adapter and a cable from that to your TV. If you connect the MacBook using a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter you will probably need to use external speakers or a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to RCA sound plugs connected to a stereo system for audio if your TV doesn't have separate RCA input plugs for audio with the HDMI plug. The Mini-DVI to HDMI doesn't carry audio and there're no audio plugs on most TVs to work with HDMI since it's expecting audio with the HDMI.

Itunes seems to have lost the ability to play purchased video

Before posting here, I've searched all over the place for a solution to this problem, I found many people who have very similar issues, some solved them, but their solutions haven't worked for me, others with problems closer to how'd I'd describe mine have yet to find a solution
My problem is, when I try to watch purchased tv shows, the video playback is horribly choppy. Most of the time it's like watching a screenshot with audio. (audio plays fine). I've tried all the suggestions of disabling direct3d etc to no avail. I have a brand new pretty beefy system that should have no problems running the video at all. The oddest thing though, is that early today the video worked fine, which confirms that it's not hardware insufficiency. After downloading 2 shows this evening, I watched them with perfectly smooth playback. After getting a few more tv shows, itunes suddenly lost the ability to playback smoothly, even after closing, opening itunes again, rebooting my computer, none of it helped. The only thing left to try which I will try if nobody has any idea what the problem might be, is to completly uninstall itunes and try reinstalling it again, since earlier the playback was fine.
Has anyone else encountered anything at all like this? Nothing about my system has changed since earlier this evening, I already had the most recent version of itunes when everything was working fine. No display drivers or any of that has changed. It was only a matter of a few minutes between smooth playback and where my itunes perminatly lost the ability to playback video properly.
I appoligize for the long winded message but I wanted to cover all the bases so people don't end up suggesting stuff I've already tried. The only clue that might be related is during download of one of the shows Windows Vista popped up the message that itunes had stop working, and I could try and find a solution or close the application. I just closed itunes and opened it again. Everything seemed fine but it may be (not positive though) that it was immediatly after that that the video nolonger played properly.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you have a SATA controlled hard drive. Apparently, there's some kind of bug with SATA disks and Vista and Quicktime/itunes video...and possibly Nvidia is involved as well.
The workaround is sticking the video on a flash drive in order to play it (because that avoids the SATA controller and thus bypasses the issue). It's a crappy workaround, IMO...and I'm not spending another cent on iTunes videos until the issue is actually fixed.

Hit these keys Command Shift B at the same time
It is a toggle for View. Show/Hide Bounding Box
The most common accident in Illustrator everyone does this.
Also be aware of command H for hide edges another accident often happens.

Lost the ability to print:

Hi all;
I just installed ios5 on my wifes ipad2, and suddenly lost the ability to print to our Epson printer-among other things. B4 the "upgrade" all was fine, and now all I can find is "no airprint printer". I've never had one that was an "airprint" printer.
Any ideas?

This is a little tough because there are two possible issues. iOS 5 wouldn't cause a failure for an AirPrint printer but as mentioned it does cause a problem for some AirPrint software running on Macs and PCs.
So one guess is that the update just causes some intermittent problem. Power cycling your printer, iPad and router would likely clear that problem.
Another guess is that you never had AirPrint support in the printer and that one of the Macs was sharing the printer instead. iOS killed that sharing solution and so you now have a problem. Some of the Epson printers shipped without AirPrint and need a firmware update. There's information here:

In the pse 11 editor Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor (Edit)>Preferences>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next launch
and then restart the pse 11 editor.

Why have I lost the ability to play video in iTunes?

I recently upgraded to itunes 11.0 but now I seem to have lost the ability top play video podcasts, movies or even see trailers in the itunes store movie section. I did install an application called eyetvreporter to try to recover the activation code for eyetv shortly after installing itunes 11. I am not sure this had any effect because Ii can still see the eyetv on the computer. I have reinstalled os X from the recovery partition and reinstalled itunes 11.0. I have no idea how to reset iTunes to allow me to watch videos.

Strange! I changed the screen resolution, deleted the eyetvreporter, rebooted and the video came back. The problem is solved but not understood.

Similary, if I scan an image and save it as a PDF file in pictures, I'm suddenly not able to open it either!
Why?

Move the com.apple.screencapture.plist file out of /username/Library/Preferences/ to the Desktop, log out and back in, and try again.
BTW, use the default 10 point setting for text. Your choice just wastes screen space.

3.3mhz iMac, just had Maverick installed and as I tried to upload Pix, the finder went into a wheel of death and since that point, have lost the ability to even type on ANY applicat would not come out of it.. did utilities and have no idea what to do next

Have a iMac 3.3 mhz, tried to upload pix to an app and Finder went into the wheel of death and would not come out.. When it "Got Lost" I also lost the ability to even type on the machine in ANY APPLICATION. Have run utilities, made repairs and still no typing/text. On Thurs or Friday (10/24 or 10/25) Maverick was installed so this may be a problem that it created. As it happens I didn't ask for Maverick. How do I fix the "Finder" on the machine if i can't even type on it??
