Why have my addons suddenly disappeared

So for some strange reason my addons are gone. One day they were there and the next day they were gone. I have no idea what's going on. I've tried to search through many different folders and there's still no sign of any of my addons. So where are they all? Why would they all of a sudden disappear?

did you check
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<yourprofile>\extensions?
Your add-ons should be there? If not check the firefox profiles folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles?
Look for other profiles and search in there the extensions folder. May be for some reason you changed your profile?

Why have my playlists suddenly disappeared?

Early 2009 MacPro Quad-Core (Nehalem)
Lion (10.7.4)
8gb RAM
iTunes 10.6.3
Woke my machine up this evening and found that all of the playlists in iTunes have disappeared. All of the music is intact (all 12,588 items)....but my playlists are all MIA. The list is compleatly blank.
Did a full power down and restart...no change.
Any ideas what happened? I have done nothing during which the playlists could have been inadvertantly deleted.
I do have Time Machine backups on file. Which files at what locations should I replace to get them back?

I replaced the "iTunes Library.itl" file and still my playlists are gone.

Check in the Archive folder to see if the messages were moved from Inbox to Archive.
Search in Mail > All to see if you can find a recent message.
If you have determined that the messages no longer exist, please provide the following.
What type of account(s)? (POP, IMAP, Exchange)
What email provider? (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Earthlink, Comcast, ATT, other)
If other please identity provider.
Have you checked online to see if the messages are still on the server?
Do you have Time Machine backup?

Why have my January photographs disappeared from my ipad air but appeared on my ipad?

i took photos with the ipad air. they have synched with the ipad but the earliest ones have now disappeared from the ip air. As have other earlier photos. Also, I'm paying for extra Cloud but how do I access it ? Machine keeps saying I have no space but then shows I have only used a fraction of the cloud I have paid for! How do I unlock that space then?

Thanks. But it has been open all the time and it is not uploading. also no idea how to get back to reply to you on the forum. So I seem to be doing what i am supposed to be doing. Everything is open and ticked but nothing is happening.
i don't know why i have lost many photos from my ipad air. Many, but not all of them, are on my original ipad 2.
Should I just do something like reset everything? That always terrifies me as I do not want to lose all, any more, of my photos

Why have my version names disappeared from Browser view?

I know there is an easy solution to this because it has happened to me before. In the Browser viewer in Aperture 3, I can usually see the Version name under each thumbnail. The Version names have disappeared and I can't remember how to get them back. Please help!

Sometimes finding stuff is hard especially something like this that doesn't seem to have a particular name. But in this case the information under the image is metadata so trying a search for that in the help box got me:

I understand that your external hard drive that had been working with your Mac, is no longer being recognized. You have completed some great isolation steps already by testing a different external drive with your Mac, and testing your external drive with another computer. To continue troubleshooting this situation, I would recommend reading over the Top troubleshooting tips section int eh attached article and working through the steps you have not yet completed.

Why have Chinese writings suddenly started appearing on my Mozilla Firefox start page when I open it?

When I first open my Mozilla Firefox start page, strange Chinese writings appear on the page. The Mozilla Firefox name is in English, but when I type something in on the search bar and click on it, I only get more Chinese writing. What is the problem? Firefox becomes useless to me and I then have to access a different site to continue with my searches. Any ideas??

Most likely, the reason in addon.
[[disable or remove add-ons]] will help to delete it.

My form has just disappeared from 'design view' but if i hit 'live view' it re-appears, the code is all there i just cant view it?

Its because your table code is broken. I had a job this morning wading through it so I eventually selected just the from part - <form> </form> - which I believe is intact and dumped it in another DW file.
If you can't find the broken or missing tag/s can I suggest you do this and rebuild the outer table.

Why have my column guides disappeared?

All the text frames in my document have vanished. The outside box appears when I click on the frame, but the column guides do not appear even when the frame is clicked on.
I have gone to View > Grids and Guides, but Show Guides has already been selected. If I click on Hide Guides/Show Guides, it does not affect the text frames.
Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Why have the Info tab disappeared in iTunes ?

How come that the Info tab not longer seen in iTunes when connecting my iphone? This prevent me from configure my settings of calendar sync. The calendar in my iphone is not updated any longer. Have the latest version of iOS and iTunes on Mac.

OS X Mavericks only allows you to sync your contacts, calendars, notes and reminders from your Mac to your iPad through iCloud or any other cloud service. You cannot sync your information through iTunes anymore.

Why have duplicate playlists suddenly appeared in my iTunes library?

When I come to sync my iPhone 5 (unfortunately using iOS 8) with my iTunes library, I hit the "music" tab and select "Selected playlists, albums, artists & genres". This has always worked free from hassle or problems. Now I have updated all my Apple devices to the newest software, there are duplicate playlists showing in the "Playlists" section, and my iPhone won't sync at all. Any suggestions? Surely I am not going to have to go through and delete each copy manually??? If that's the case, then sorry Apple, but I'm defecting. Since I installed iOS 8 I have had nothing but trouble. My MacBook Pro won't allow me to use iPhoto, my iPhone is all over the place, and I can't even make phone calls in my car (Hello?? It's a phone - I should be able to make phone calls), and my iMac iTunes account won't sync any more. HELP!!!!!!!!!
