Why have my emails suddenly disappeared from bt and Gmail?

does anyone know why my emails hVe disappeared from my iPad? Both gmail and Bob internet mail? All emails are coming into my laptop but none to my iPad and the ones I had opened have all disappeared too!

My emails keep disappearing from my inbox even though I have not deleted them.

I have tried to rebuild the mailbox to no avail. The mailbox behavior says: Drafts (not checked) store draft messages on the server, Notes (checked) show not in Inbox, Sent (checked) Store sent messages on the server Delete sent messages when (option never selected), Junt (not checked) store junk messages on the server Delete junk messages when (option never selected), Trash (checked) moves deleted messages to the Trash mailbox and (checked) store deleted messages on the server Permanently erase deleted messages when (one month old option selected).
I have not set up any rules that I know of other than a signature, in the very least I have not changed any.

All emails suddenly disappeared from my iphone 5c inbox

Emails from my comcast.net account suddenly disappeared from my iPhone 5c inbox and I cannot receive new ones. They still show up on my iPad and my laptop (both Windows Live Mail and Xfinity. I'm using OS 8.1,3, Ideas?

Yahoo's servers are notoriously bad. Yahoo will have to fix the problem. It's not an Apple problem, or an AT&T problem (except for the fact that AT&T chose to contract their email service out to one of the worst providers on the planet).
Try downloading and using the Yahoo mail app from the app store.

Why have my emails been blocked from downloading?

The email below was sent to me saying I have been automatically removed from the CCLIST1 list (Calorie Count Monday) as a result of repeated delivery error reports from my mail system and indicating my email account does not exist and that I may be permanently unable to receive emails on my OS and iOS devices.
This is the second time in three months it has happened. At that time I couldn't find any help on the web or from computer-savy friends regarding how and why it happened or how to rectify the situation. After a week or two my email was permanently blocked and I had to change my email address and contact a couple hundred people and businesses with the new address -- many hours were spent doing this. I could still read my emails and send them on my service provider's website, CenturyLink. This was very helpful as many of the web accounts I had required email address verifications before they would accept account information changes.
My internet/email service provider tried to help by having me redo setting up the Mac Mail account on my iMac. That didn't work. I also went online to Apple to again use the method for resetting the Mail account as well as look for answers.
I received the email below yesterday, so hopefully I have some time to solve the problem before my email is blocked from downloading to my devices.
Any advice and step-by-step directions on rectifying this problem would be very much appreciated.

I read a few more discussions on this problem elsewhere on-line with the suggestion that I had a bug on my computer that hijacked my email account to send emails elsewhere (not that I had any clue on how to discover that on my computer).
I followed the suggestion to access my email account on-line and change my password and make it stronger. I did that and was able to get my emails downloaded to my computer and other devices.
I'm pretty sure that my original problem started when I unsubscribed from the Calorie Counter on-line newsletter by pressing a link at the bottom of the email I received from them. A screen came up that said I was unsubscribed and then disappeared in a flash.The experience seemed odd and weird compared to other times when I've unsubscribed from something.
As a test I resubscribed to the newsletter and then unsubscribed. I was directed to one of CCounter's internal web pages and went through a couple of steps in order to finish the process... all very professional and obviously on the newsletter's website.
So the lesson I learned was have a strong password for my email and change it occasionally. And do the same for other accounts that are password protected.

i took photos with the ipad air. they have synched with the ipad but the earliest ones have now disappeared from the ip air. As have other earlier photos. Also, I'm paying for extra Cloud but how do I access it ? Machine keeps saying I have no space but then shows I have only used a fraction of the cloud I have paid for! How do I unlock that space then?

i don't know why i have lost many photos from my ipad air. Many, but not all of them, are on my original ipad 2.
Should I just do something like reset everything? That always terrifies me as I do not want to lose all, any more, of my photos

Why have my addons suddenly disappeared

So for some strange reason my addons are gone. One day they were there and the next day they were gone. I have no idea what's going on. I've tried to search through many different folders and there's still no sign of any of my addons. So where are they all? Why would they all of a sudden disappear?

did you check
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<yourprofile>\extensions?
Your add-ons should be there? If not check the firefox profiles folder
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles?
Look for other profiles and search in there the extensions folder. May be for some reason you changed your profile?

Its because your table code is broken. I had a job this morning wading through it so I eventually selected just the from part - <form> </form> - which I believe is intact and dumped it in another DW file.
If you can't find the broken or missing tag/s can I suggest you do this and rebuild the outer table.

Email suddenly disappeared from Bt yahoo

My daughters email address suddenly became invalid (username & password not recognised). I had to create a new one in my sub accounts at bt yahoo. I waited a day and tried to create her old email address again to no avail.
My questions is....
1, Why did this happen ?
2. Could BT have sold the email address ?
3. How come speaking to anyone at BT is very difficult ?
4 . Why do I stay with a company that I cannot trust to handle my email addresses ? (rhetorical)
5. .The help pages at BT are effin useless...that wasn't a question.... more of a statement.

I am not sure you can create any new sub accounts on BT Yahoo at the moment, as BT Yahoo is being discontinued and repaced by BT Mail. All accounts will be moved over in the next few months.

Provided that her e-mail account has been in regular use, then it would not have been deleted.

TS3276 Why is one email address disappearing from my Sent folder

Since I updated to Lion my email often hangs when I am sending. I have tried a few of the tircks on forums without any great improvement.
Today a new and exciting behaviour has emerged. Emails to one particular address (naturally a really important one!) seem to take for ever to send, and when the process stops they are no where ot be seen - in particular not in my Sent folder. I have tried a few other emails and all have gone off happily.
How can a weird problem exist like this for only one address - that I know works.
Looking at the online email site, I can see these other sent emails too - just not the mysterious disappearing ones!
Any thoughts?

Every contact you've sent a message to is automatically added to the Collected Addresses address book. One approach would be to create a new address book, then copy the desired contacts from Collected Addresses to that book by drag and drop, while holding the Ctrl key. Then, export the new address book to a csv (comma separated) file and open it in Excel.
It's also possible to scan a folder for contacts and have them added to an address book:

Why have my version names disappeared from Browser view?

I know there is an easy solution to this because it has happened to me before. In the Browser viewer in Aperture 3, I can usually see the Version name under each thumbnail. The Version names have disappeared and I can't remember how to get them back. Please help!

Sometimes finding stuff is hard especially something like this that doesn't seem to have a particular name. But in this case the information under the image is metadata so trying a search for that in the help box got me:

I have several categories for events in my calendar. I have selected different colours for each. Until a few days ago, these colours showed on my calendar - down the side of my events. Any idea why they don't show any more?

I understand that your external hard drive that had been working with your Mac, is no longer being recognized. You have completed some great isolation steps already by testing a different external drive with your Mac, and testing your external drive with another computer. To continue troubleshooting this situation, I would recommend reading over the Top troubleshooting tips section int eh attached article and working through the steps you have not yet completed.

Why have my playlists suddenly disappeared?

Early 2009 MacPro Quad-Core (Nehalem)
Lion (10.7.4)
8gb RAM
iTunes 10.6.3
Woke my machine up this evening and found that all of the playlists in iTunes have disappeared. All of the music is intact (all 12,588 items)....but my playlists are all MIA. The list is compleatly blank.
Did a full power down and restart...no change.
Any ideas what happened? I have done nothing during which the playlists could have been inadvertantly deleted.
I do have Time Machine backups on file. Which files at what locations should I replace to get them back?

I replaced the "iTunes Library.itl" file and still my playlists are gone.

HT4901 Shared calendars suddenly disappeared from ical and those I shared with even tho we did nothing

My client shares two icals with me. I went to add something to one and suddenly I got an alert saying they were no longer shared. Then I got an email notify. Then he called me wanting to know why I deleted his calendars. Which I did not.
Is this an icloud issue? No one did anything. They just disappeared. I don't own the calendars so I can't restore them. Help!!!

I have got same problem.
After importing the calendar user can't create new appointments.
It isnt possible to add a new appointment.
let me know if there is an solution?
