Just for a little expansion of DonGuerneville advice. To turn NOTES off as he states:
1) Go to SETTINGS
2) go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3) Under account to the top right of your screen, go to EACH account listed here.
4) you will get a pop-up window which will list the following:
Mail
Contacts
Calendars
Reminders
Notes
Next to each entry is an on/off switch. Here is where you turn OFF the Notes.
If you do NOT do it for all Accounts listed they most likely will disappear into the accounts that were NOT turned off.
One last point. When my Notes first disappeared the first place I looked into was my Yahoo Account and they were NOT there. Three weeks LATER is when they first appeared. Why they delay, that is the new mystery....

Why have apple not launced new airport express 802.11ac version

Why have apple not launced new airport express 802.11ac version, when recently launching new Airport Extreme Base Station and new Airport Time Capsule 802.11ac versions?
Do you think they will launch one soon as wanting to extend my WI-FI network but don't want to purchase current Airport Express 802.11n version if a new model is due to be on sale in the near future as would prefer latest models/technology.

Sorry, but no one here on a user-to-user support forum will be able to tell you what a notoriously secretive company like Apple will do or when they might do it. We are all users.....just like you.
You would need to ask Apple about this, although I would be very surprised if you get an answer with any real information.

Why have apple not released and update to fix the wifi problems

I have a ipad mini all was working fine untill apple released the update to OS6 now we are in OS7 and still no fix?
now i have tried ALL off the work rounds that have been postedand they do NOT work.
in order to get the mini to conect to any network it needs to be sat on top of the router this isnt just my router this is all routers im on virgin tryed with BT and Sky and mcdonalds,costa,starbucks ect ect...

This is a user-to-user forum. Apple doesn't live here (except checking every so often to enforce the TOU). You can rant, rave and vent all you want, won't change a thing and may get you canned.
This is your specific Wi-Fi problem. Most users have had no issues. My two iGadgets have gone from 6.0.1 to 7.0.4 with all the intermediates with no problem. Same for all my colleagues Minis, Maxis and other gadgets. Which leads to...

BB or Carriers why have you not pulled OS 10.3.1.1565 yet?

after 4 weeks of missery for thousands upon thousands of BB users around the world i cant believe i am still seeing daily posts of new phone owners joining the forum to ask what is up with their phones.
does anyone know for sure if BB are actually going to pull OS 10.3.1.1565 or are they just going to let every new customer find out the hard way by turning their new phone on and it auto updating immediately to this corrupt 1565 update.
auto update should be set to OFF BY DEFAULT but its not it set to ON.
carrier operators say they are over stressed by the daily calls from angry customers but the 1565 is still readily available for download. should BB not inform every carrier around the world that there has been major issues that have not been rectified in the last month.
every day my new passport is giving me a popup asking me to upgrade to OS 10.3.1.1565 and there is more chance of hell freezing over first as im sticking with the pre loaded 10.3.0.908 which atually works.
i am also checking daily on my Q10 which has OS 10.3.1.1565 loaded and there is still no update being pushed out by Vodafone in the UK even though a fix (for some things only) was sent out by BB almost a week ago.
lastly why has BB not sent out a official response yet?
im going to get my morning coffee now so rant over

It depends on the device. If the device came from a wireless service provider, then it will require that carrier to push the update. If the device came from ShopBlackBerry.com then it will get the update without requiring the carrier to push it. You do, sometimes, have to pull the sim card out on ShopBlackberry.com devices in order to get the update.

Why have my contacts disappeared?

I've got an iPhone 4s running OS 7.0.6. Today my contacts disappeared. I have always had my iCloud backup enabled and I've used it to restore on previous occasions, but when I went to the settings it was disabled. Is there any reasone why this would happen? Is there anything I can do to restore the contacts? I'm trying to upgrade my iTunes to see if I can restore from there, but in the meantime I'd appreciate any advice on what I can do.

When I went to iCloud to restore the deleted contact it had been turned off (I'm sure it was on). I deleted the iCloud account and added it again. When I synced the contacts were still lost. I turned on and off the contact back up 4 times and on the last time the contacts reappeared. The favourites list is still not correct but at least the contacts are back.
I'm a little freaked out by this as I thought I could count on iCloud and Apple to keep my info safe. Still at least I recovered most of the data.

Some of my notes have disappeared from my iPhone 5S. I noticed a while back on my old 4S. I spent about 3 hours at the Apple store trying to fix this. But it was a waste of time. My notes are backed up to my iCloud and yahoo so I still have them. This apparently is a common problem because there are a lot of folks asking the same question. The same answer that I have seen is how to retrieve them. That isn't a solution. Why is this happening and what needs to be done to keep it from happening. This is a very useful app but it is no good when it continues to lose my notes. Same thing is happening with my wife's 5S too!

A few days ago, all of my contacts disappeared and were replaced by the names of SOME of my Facebook friends. None of these have any telephone contact information, it's all email addresses associated with those Facebook friends. For instance, my husband's name, emails and phone numbers were all deleted from my contacts - help!

Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

Loved the idea of itunes match and signed up a year ago, and got a few good months of usage for my $25. Several issues today: 1) iphone 4 & ipad 2: reloads itunes match everytime i go to select a song, then repeats this loop with each new selection; 2) will not work on Apple tv; 3) Playlists have disappeared in the ether between itunes, icloud, and then to the devices. What to do?

iMac 27" i7, Mac OS X (10.6.6) < hopefully your profile is just outdated. iCloud requirements are for v10.7.4 or later
Try resetting ...
On iOS devices tap Settings > ICloud
Switch Calendars off then back on.
On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deslect the box next to Calendars then reselect it.
Give iCloud a minute or two to re sync the data.

Why have my albums disappeared?

I have about 8 Albums defined; all of a sudden they disappeared. How do I get them to display again? I'm using APE 8.

They (the albums) are back. During the time they were not visible, an album I was adding many images to was not reflecting the additions in my online presence (bclayshannon.photoshop.com). It showed 3 images when it should have really had 17. This is probably just because it was taking a long time to transfer the images from my machine to Adobe's server[s]. But the fact that my albums seemed to disappear altogether on my machine is rather odd. The best guess I have is that I was adding pictures too fast to the album for APE to keep up -- due to my sketchy amount of RAM (896 MB), it threw up its virtual hands and temporarily "gave up the ghost."

Why Have I Not Got Infinity?

I live in Hatton, Derbyshire and i am confused why we have not got it yet.
My connection at best is 1mb even though i am only 1 mile away from exchange and only 3000 residents.
the thing that is confusing me is foston (500 yards away), church broughton (2 miles away), etwall (3 miles away), micklover (4 miles away) which are all around us.
We are in the middle of all these yet they all have it.
Foston has only 300 residents and is only 500 yards away from us yet they have it.
its like a circle and everyone has it in the circle but for the middle of the circle which is Hatton.

As nobody else has replied to you I will. Currently you appear to be connected to Tutbury exchange which has not been upgraded. Etwall and Micleovere are served by other exchanges that have but interestingly Church Broughton and Foston are apparently served by Sudbury exchange which has also not been done.
BT Openreach have announced around half of the programme so plenty of time for your exchange to be done but neither Tutbury or Sudbury are currently in the programme. You can check exchanges etc on the www.samknows.com site which has a useful exchange mapping facility. BT lists of exchanges are at http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ and be patient as they announce exchages in batches around 9 months before the due dates.
Being connected to a upgraded exchange is half the story as BT Openreach typically upgrade around 50 to 80% of street cabinets on each exchange so it is still a lottery. They are upgrading 80% of lines in total so you can be in the 20%.
Your village is about a mile from Tutbury exchange so even on ADSL you should be getting approx 8Mb/s (approx 1MB/s) not sure what you mean by 1mb but if you are getting only 1Mb/s then something is wrong and that needs investigation.
