Why have not pre-installed Nokia map in my nokia 5...

Hi everybody:
I come from Taiwan. I bought a nokia 5220 in my country but I found my phone have not pre-installed Nokia map. It's look like usually in my country. I browsed many websites they mentioned that Nokia 5220 has pre-installed "Nokia map" in the device in Europe. Does this application disabled in my country or something else?
ps. I have checked Menu > Organiser > but it doesn't have "Maps".

You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.x version, that comes with its own profile, to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.

You probably need to create a new profile because the SQLite version used in Firefox 3.5 is not compatible the the SQLite version that is used by current Firefox versions.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

IM not pre installed in 6700 classic

I bought a Nokia 6700 classic from ebay which was locked to Orange network. I was trying to activate IM client in the phone but as seen from support forum it seems that IM client should have been pre-installed in 6700 classic. The problem is that my phone does not have that. There is no menu for accessing IM as given in user manual. I went for software update but for no use. I was wondering what is to be done now.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I noted that one of the updates in the list for my wife's iMac was an update to Software Update itself. Probably to fix this very problem. But it wasn't being applied due to Software Update itself not working.
I considered two solutions.
(1) Uncheck all the updates except that one update to Software Update. Then after fixing Software Update, apply all the other updates remaining. I did NOT try this approach.
(2) Download and install the "combo update" for 10.6 -- from here

I decided to try solution #2. It's a large download, 1 GB, but the whole process took less than 15 minutes. The "combo" update checks and reapplies every update since the beginning of 10.6, so if something is missing or amiss, it gets filled in. It's done manually, by downloading the update, opening the .dmg file, and running the update. When I did this, it fixed the Software Update issue because I then reran Software Update and additional, new updates were found and they all installed fine. Software Update was working as it should. I then ran it a third time and some additional ones were found, also then successfully applied. Finally, no new updates were found by Software Update, which mean everything is up to date.
I can't be sure if your issue is the same as mine (the bug in the CNET article above) but I'm guessing that the combo update will resolve your issue.

Using Nokia Maps favorites into Nokia Drive

is there a way to use my Nokia maps favorites into Nokia drive ?, i don't understand why we don't still have that option in a menu somewhere already.

Which lumia have you got? If you have a wp8 device and the latest Nokia Maps update you should be able to access your favourites using Nokia Maps and navigate from there which will automatically start Nokia Drve.

I have a fairly new mac book pro with retina display- I have not tried installing anything other OS on it. In spite of that yesterday when I turned it on, I got the error: no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key. what is the reason for this?

I swithced it on by clicking on options when I start up and then clicked on Macintosh HD. the other option was a question mark and network drive.
Is there a way to ensure it never happens again, what is the cause for this problem, if I need to uninstall some application, i am happy to do it as long as I know what is causing this conflict.

Something is not making sense here.
You claim this is a brand new machine and you have not tried to install Windows or Boot Camp.
Then why would you ever even go into System Preferences > Startup Disk and choose Macintosh HD? It should have automatically booted into Macintosh HD.
You're probably going to have to reinstall Mac OS X.

I wouldn't say the iMacs are perfect yet (not nearly as slick as my last iMac G4 or iMac G3) but a whole lot less buggy then the PCs I use at work! Apple has released two updates (iMac 1.3 and iMac 1.2.1 for Leopard and Tiger respectively) to improve stability. If these aren't installed when you get the machine you'll be offered them in +Software Update+.
I purposefully bought my iMac with Tiger knowing I would upgrade. It's very very easy to upgrade OS X so don't worry about whether Leopard is in the box or installed. Macs always have all the software on optical disc so you can completely erase the hard disk and still return it to it's factory state. Apple doesn't put disk images on the hard disk.
The upgrade process is so slick that my new iMac has all the software from my iMac G4 and even the web-history is there from before the machine arrived. (Migration Assistant can copy a whole user profile across).
I wouldn't hold your breath for offers on the iMac though. The only ones I've seen in the past are free inkjet printers or discounts on iPods for students.

With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free.
For a 16 GB device that is 2.4 - 3.2 GB free. So 13 minus 3= 10 GB of storage for music, photos, movies and documents.

Isn't it obvious? You used the word "but" - that's a big negative word. Especially when read by moderators. The moderators could be analytical computer software, or human morons, it doesn't much matter which.
The only thing to get into your head here, is that you're dealing with the new Nokia. The new Nokia doesn't understand people. Therefore it doesn't undertand how to care for people.
The new Nokia, with it's smartphone ranges, are no longer shifting boxes with simple, technically reliable phones inside. They were good at producing simple telephones. However, they are now producing small computers, which can be used in many ways, just like any PC.
They were never setup to deal with users. They are a "techy" company which delights in demonstrating its technical developments to "techy" reviewers - "Look how clever we are". They haven't a clue what to do about reviews from real users, whether of their phones, or, now, their software.
In addition, the staff involved with this new Ovi Store are equally inexperienced (immature in the people management function ), and so are overly sensitive to criticism.
All credible online stores relish customer feedback on their websites. Negative feedbsack makes the supplier think twice about producing rubbish in the future, knowing it's going to receive poor reviews. Also, the store, in this case the Ovi store, gets credibility for publishing negative, but honest reviews.
eBay, QVC, and others rely on true feedback being published on their websites. People are not stupid, whatever Nokia / Ovi thinks. They know the feedback /reviews cannot be trusted if they are all positive.
Another poster put it best when he said that the Ovi site is like a 6th form school project, run by immature school students. They have no clue how to deal with mature adults and the mature busines world.
Somebody like Richard Branson needs to have a word in Nokia's ear, at a high level, before they implode. They just don't know how to listen to their own customers.
