The Canadian distro hasn't recieved a single update in the last 6 months. Just about every other country has recieved updates in the last month.

Has anyone received an answer to this? It seems that a lot of us are having the same issue. In the past i had no trouble receiving emails to reset my password but for the past week I havne't been able to login, my security questions didn't work and I haven't received any of the emails to reset my password. I've created a new Account but would rather get into my old account because it's linked to my perfered email address. Hum..

You have a Puerto Rico address on your account ? From a quick search I've found one site from somebody in Puerto Rico that includes a screenshot for an app receipt showing tax of 7 cents added to a 99 cent purchase. Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

I still haven't received the iOS 7 update for my iPod Touch 4th Generation
I understand that the iOS 7 update has been out for a while but I still havent't recieved the update.
iPod Touch (4th generation) won't support iOS7 because it only has 256 MB ram, iPod Touch (5th generation) has 512 MB ram. (iOS update 6.1.3) is the last and end of line for the device therefore:
There is nothing you can do . . . If you want iOS7, you must purchase iPod Touch (5th generation). -

Actually there have been problems world wide about connecting to Apple servers. You have to change you network settings on your device or computer to bypass this problem. You can find the instrucions here: unable to download and update iOS 5.1 try the DNS change

its asking you to verify your Cloud account and you should do so.
You can either do so by answering your own secret questions or asking for email to be sent to you which gives link to reset password.
Has to be 8 characters minimum and at least one Upper case and One lower case letter with one numeral

I called Apple and they said there was nothing more I could do. I called my carrier Verizon and was able to get my computer to recognize my device after trying this-
Solution:
After trying EVERYTHING this is the ONLY thing that worked-
I took the USB connector cable out of the USB port it was in, and tried another one on the otherside of my laptop and iTunes was able to discover my phone in recovery mode. My phone was reset and everything is fine ( thank gosh for backup copies!) -
