Why hibernate..why not ADF BCs

Hello ADF experts, I have been noticing that many big companies are using hibernate for business components instead of ADF business components. And I got the answer for reason is security issue. If that is the case is it a big waste that we have such a rich asset provided by ADF ?
So, we never ever use ADF business components in corporate projects?
Appreciate someone can provide me some justification why hibernate is selected instead of using ADF BCs.
I am a big fan of ADF BCs because in case of Hibernate ...almost everything we need to create manually from scratch.

Maybe because hibernate is open source and ADF BC is proprietary technology(and usually used only in ADF applications)?
Maybe you need to compare hibernate with TopLink (or EclipseLink) ...
And I got the answer for reason is security issue.
I don't see what security has to do with ORM and persistence frameworks(security is usually handled in other app layers, for example: in db or in app view/controller).
If persistence framework provides security features this can be bonus, but this is not reason to discard other frameworks which doesn't provide such features(and ADF BC has security features, for example: Fortune Minds - Oracle ADF: How to apply Security at Entity level in ADF Application ).

I have been sent here by you customer service team to make a complaint.
I have recently purchased Windows 8.1 pro student as a download. I need this for university and was planning on boot camping my mac to do this. I am told the only way to download this product is with a windows machine. I have tried at work but need administrator
privileges also.
This is simply a ridiculous system that you need the operating system that you are downloading to make the download occur. You should be able to download an iso file or the like. I have ordered a backup media (obviously at my expense).
The customer service people I spoke to were very unhelpful. Also this process of complaints is poor. Why can i not talk to someone re a complaint?

You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well.

Hi,
Go to transaction OBD4, and check whether the field "Tax category" is suppressed in group "Account control" for your GL account group.
If not, then go to OB26 and check the field status for the same field for create, change activity.

The OCR system that converts documents does not recognize any cyrillic languages, such as Russian. If the text is already renderable (selectable), you may want to try converting your document without the OCR function enabled. You can find steps here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3062

Well, at this point (pre 7.5), there isn't an agent, the WSA is joined to the domain, just like a Windows box, it authenticates via that trust relationship. From that point it is all based on how NT/Active Directory domains work. As long as there is a trust between the domains, you can can auth users from as many domains as you like.
There is an agent in the works. The ADAgent will be released with 7.5. The code is already available, it was released with the ASA ver 8.4, and it will be used to pass authentication info to the WSA. At this point, current versions still require trust relationships between all of the domains touched.

Before you configure even a single domain controller machine using the
adacfg dc create
command, ensure that the AD Agent machine is first joined to a domain (for example, domain
J
) that has a trust relationship with each and every domain (for example, domain

) that it will monitor for user authentications (through the domain controller machines that you will be configuring on the AD Agent machine).
Depending on your Active Directory domain structure, the following scenarios are possible:
1. Single Forest, Single Domain—There is only one domain, D[i] for all domain controller machines, which is one and the same as domain J. The AD Agent machine must first be joined to this single domain, and since no other domains are involved, there is no need to configure any trust relationship with any other domain.
2. Single Forest, Multiple Domains—All the domains in a single forest already have an inherent two-way trust relationship with each other. Thus, the AD Agent must first be joined to one of the domains, J, in this forest, with this domain J not necessarily being identical to any of the domains D[i] corresponding to the domain controller machines. Because of the inherent trust relationship between domain J and each of the domains D[i], there is no need to explicitly configure any trust relationships.
3. Multiple Forests, Multiple Domains—It is possible that domain J might belong to a forest that is different than the forest to which one or more of the domains D[i] corresponding to the domain controller machines belong. In this case, you must explicitly ensure that each of the domains D[i] has an effective trust relationship with domain J, in at least one of the following two ways:
a. A two-way external trust relationship can be established between the two domains, D[i] and J
b. A two-way forest trust relationship can be established between the the forest corresponding to domain D[i] and the forest corresponding to domain J
