Yeah expesually if you have some realy expresionaly selfmade fotos you whant to use for backround. And if you have more than one and sometimes you cant imgaine how the picture with the other objects in the motion projekt looks like and you have to try out. So in most cases you have to export more than one picture, because not ever the first choose is the best.

You might need to sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf" using your Adobe ID credentials to convert your PDF file to Word.
Do you get the 'download' prompt?
Also, you can find the converted files by clicking at the 'Files' tab.
Please try the same using a different browser and check.

What is going on? I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs. It just says "Open iPhoto to see photos from your iPhoto Library in this list", but that doesn't work. What changed?

All of a sudden I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs (ie Photoshop, facebook etc.). It just gives me this message below. What the **** changed? This wasn't happening yesterday.

1 - close iPhoto.
2 - go to your Pictures folder and open the iPhoto Library package as shown below:
3 - locate a file named AlbumData.xml and move it to the Desktop.
4 - launch iPhoto.
5 - relaunch the other programs and try the media browser again.

I can only access photos as files from WD desktop app

Hi, I have uploaded Pic to my WD EX4 using desktop app. I can see all my pics but when I try to access them from desktop app I have to click every pic individually. I can not access them like picture as I can using WD photos on my mobile Please let me know how can I access my pics through desktop app like pictures. Thank you

When you access the files, you mean to see the thumbnails for the pictures? If i recall correctly the desktop app does not show thumbnails for pictures.

How can i access my icloud files from the finder?

I have tried dragging the icloud icon from the toolbar of safari to the toolbar of a finder window without success. There are files from apps I would like to save on my cloud that do not natively support iCloud.

The Safari iCloud icon is for iCloud tabs which syncs all of your tabs in Safari between all of your iOS devices and Macs. So basically while you were dragging the iCloud icon into Finder, you were doing nothing. Also iCloud only saves information and files from certain applications such as Reminders, Notes, Messages, Safari, TextEdit, etc. If there are apps that do not natively support iCloud you cannot save their files to iCloud because Apple does not have a feature that can save any file from any app on your Mac. Sorry to tell you this.

Help: can't access certain photo files from iPhoto without going via Finder

I have posted a number of files containing jpg photos and whilst I can see them in Finder they are not visible in iPhoto or indeed any other applications making it impossible to import photos into other applications (such as iWeb). I can of course do it manually (copy and paste) but cannot integrate photos as part of web page. Any ideas?

What do you see when you open try to open the files in iPhoto?
Do you see a !
IF so:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

How can I access my cloud files from Adobe Bridge or Lightroom?

Since we still do not have the ability to share folders or perform a sync with ACC I'm betting this question is not answerable, but I'm hopeful. It would be really great if Bridge, and I'll use Lightroom if I must, could access the files within the Adobe Creative Cloud. OK, I understand that sync isn't going to happen, that the cloud is not meant to be sharing or collaborative in nature but rather a tool allow you to send a single file to another Cloud user to get their comments or have them download a JPG. OK, that's fine, a VW is never going to be a Cadillac, but is it possible to modify Adobe Bridge or even Lightroom to look in the users Creative Cloud folders and display thumbnails of the images? This way the user can see a file he wants to work on, allow Bridge or Lightroom to export the file to his PC, open it, work on it and save it. Is any of this even possible today?

Which OS do you have? In case of using Mac OS X 10.7 and later or using Windows 7 (maybe working on Vista too, but tested on Win7), Adobe CloudConnection is out now. If you use Snow Leopard 10.6.8, like I do, you have a problem xDD

How can I access my stored files from a previous backup?

I recently had to restore my Macbook and I backed up my files on a Lacie hard drive. However, now when I try to access those files It says that I do not have permission. Is there any way to access important files without having to do a full restore of my computer because that is not an option. I am a student and one of those files was a very important document that I need. I am willing to download any software that may be necessary to recover these files.

Can I access a generic file from my phone application?

actually I am writing a small app for my motorola V3i using Netbeans 4.1.
I need to upload generic data files for my app. Is there any possibility to use non-packaged files in a j2me app? I need them readonly on my phone app, if write access would be possible its even better.
I have a memory extension card for that phone, so I hoped to create my datafile on the computer in xml or similar format and copy it to the memcard in order to read it from my app.
Is this possible?

It sounds like you would like to print from your phone directly to a printer. This feature is called Airprint and your printer would need to support that function. Here is some more information on Airprint along with a list of compatible printers:

I can no longer attach aperture files to mail messages. Why?

Before the last aperture upgrade I was always able to select an image in my library and use the share command to attach that image to my mac mail message. Now the email opens but no photo is attached. it is a blank message. I know there is an icon in the right hand corner to access aperture files but this is not as convenient on large libraries.
Is this a bug?

Yes, I have always done as you have shown:
"File→Share→Email", "right-click→Output→Email", and "{Option}+e" all create a new mail message with the selected Image(s) attached after being exported using the Image Export Preset specified in "Aperture→Preferences→Export".
But for some reason after Idid the lastest aperture update a couple weeks ago (and I am still using snow leopard), I now cannot get files to show up in my messages.
I can attach files while I am in macmail.And I can drag files from my desktop, but I can no longer get files by doing the file>share>email navigation through Aperture.
Anyone else have this problem?

Go into Time Machine (the program not the bundle on the extrnal disk) and using Time Machine's browser go to the Folder where the library lives. You could look in the library bundle in Time Machine but that won't really tell you much,
If you want to make sure it truely has backed up your library you will need to restore it and open the restored library with Aperture.
If all this still has you confused you need to read up on Time Machine in order to get a feel for how it works, for what it is doing and for how to restore files from it.

If you were using Apple's BootCamp and received this message, quit it and open Disk Uility in your Applicaitons/Utilities folder.
Select the Macintosh HD partition on the left and select Erase and Erase Free Space > Zero option and let it complete (important) this will check the spare space for bad sectors that can cause issues formatting partitions.
Once it's completed, try creating a partiton again in BootCamp.
If that doesn't work, then hold command option r keys down while connected to a fast internet connection, Internet Recovery should load (spinning globe) and then in that Disk Utility, select your entire internal drive and click > First Aid > Repair Disk and Permissions.
reboot and attempt Bootcamp again.
If you still get a error, it might be that you have OS X data on the bottom area where BootCamp partition needs to go. This would occur if you had the drive or computer for a long time or wrote a large amount of files to the drive and nearly filling it up and then reduced some, but it left traces in the area BootCamp needs to go.
To fix this
BootCamp: "This disc can not be partitioned/impossible to move files."

Oh the ...olk14_message's. Do not delete them behind Outlooks back, i.e., from the finder. Those are the various messages that you sent, received, or deleted in Outlook. They are indexed by Outlook so if you delete behind Outlook's back Outlook will get confused trying to access those messages.
You can delete them however using Outlook itself. In outlook select a mailbox (Drafts, Sent Items, Deleted Items, etc.) by clicking on the mailbox on the left. It will show you the messages in that mailbox. You can now select all or selected items in that mailbox. The click the Edit menu and select Delete. You will get a dialog asking if you really want to delete the selections. Answer "Delete" and the messages will get deleted.
The olk14_message's you are seeing are the actual messages shown the Outlook mail boxes. When you actually delete them the way I just described the corresponding olk14_message files will also be deleted.
Note Outlook's Deleted Items mailbox is where all deleted messages go when you click the Delete tool in the Outlook toolbar. Thus using the Delete tool from the toolbar does not permanently delete the messages. So if you been using that for months or years you are going to have a very large Deleted Items mailbox. And every one of those items in there is going to have a corresponding olk14_message file for that message.
So if those olk14_message files you are seeing are from the Deleted Items mailbox you can get rid of all those corresponding olk14_message files by selecting all the messages in Deleted Items and using the Edit menu's Delete.
Alternative ways to the Edit/Delete to do the permanent delete is select (all) the messages to delete and control (right) click to bring up the Outlook contextual menu and select Delete from it.
Finally if you use the Delete tool in the toolbar for messages selected in the Deleted Items mailbox you will be able to permanently delete those too. It's an exception since using the tool on the Deleted Items means there's no place to put those messages except to "oblivion".
So, in summary, using the Delete tool in the toolbar on messages in every mailbox except the Deleted Items mailbox just moves messages to the Deleted Items mailbox. But using the Delete tool on items in them Deleted Items mailbox permanently deletes the selected items in there. And only permanently deleting items removes the corresponding actual ...olk14_message files.
