Why I can't modify protect documents?

My problem is:
I have regulare license for Pages and Numbers. One mounth ago, I changed my Imac 21" with a new one 27". I have transfered all the documents with the Assistant Migration from the first Imac to the new one. All was good.
Yesterday I have open, one of my documents of Numbers and he wrote me: "you don't own this document, and you have not the privileges to write in it. You can only to duplicate this document and modify it". I tried in every way to have the permission but nothing. I can't modify anything: documents , folder, positions, nothing. Of the Pages and of the Numbers.
I don't know why, and I would like to make it.
Last thing: if I duplicate the document, he open me a Copy of it, but, if I put it, into the folder, he protect this document like the first, and I can't modify also this one. I solve the problem only if I make a new folder and put the duplicate into it.

I suspect the issue is that you have registered on your new machine as a different user than on the previous one.
The Owner of the document is the user with the user name in use when the document was created. If you have established an account on the new machine with a different user name, that user may still be 'you', but it's not the same 'you' as made the document.
Go back to the first machine, select the folder containing the problem documents and Duplicate the whole folder.
With the duplicate folder selected, press command-I to Get Info.
At the bottom of the Info window, expand the ownership and permissions section.
Change the Others: setting to Read and Write,
Click Apply Changes to enclosed items.
Copy the folder over to the new machine, where you should now be able to open, edit and save the documents in that folder.
Delete the duplicate folder from the old machine (and empty the Trash to recover the disk space).

Is this a problem with only one order? or with all the Orders of the same "Order Type".
If this is with only one Order, check goods movements actually done or not?
If this problem is with other Orders as well (same Order Type), then with the T.Code; OPL8.
In the 2nd Tab Page (Implemenation) - Whether the Check boxes are filled for Documented Goods Movements??

Can't password protect documents

A year ago I bought a license for Adobe Acrobat Standard which included access to certain features including the ability to password protect documents. Suddenly it has stopped working. I have already re-downloaded my product version and that has not solved the problem and can find nothing online to help. Any suggestions or solutions will be appreciated.

What printer do you have? Do other documents print? What happens when you try to print the document? Are you choosing the correct printer? Do you see a print queue icon appear in your Dock? Click on it - any errors or messages?

So, if you have items whose name embed the forbidden chars, the answer is simple : hurry up, rename them.

The error message is telling you that on your High Availability tab you have an IP Address in the Primary/Secondary/Tertiary section but do not have a WLC hostname there. High Availability is done by WLC Name with the IP Address Optional. The only way you'll be able to make a GUI modification (change the AP name for example) will be AFTER you fix the error [remove the ip address in the HA section, or add the WLC name like is required for a valid HA config).

You still haven't given us much to go on? Are you opening these files from a website (clicking on a link)? I'm assuming they are pdf files, correct? If so, what web browser and operating system do you have?
Remember, we aren't sitting there in the room with you so you need to be descriptive and answer all questions...

"Unable" and "can't" means exactly the same: nothing. What exactly happens when you try to open Adobe Reader or a PDF?
Still, what is your Reader version?

Dear experts,
Can i modify material document qty with movement 542.I tried using MB02 but found qty as disable so
could not succceed.
I found one function module MB_CHANGE_DOCUMENT which can also modify quantities beside other
mseg mkpf fields.But this change happen only in MSEG .In MBLB transaction ie stock at vendor end , i do not find comensurate effect.What to do here ?

Can you please try disabling protected mode and see if you are able to open these files.
To disable protected mode:
Select Edit menu -> Preferences -> Ubcheck Enable Protected Mode at startup and restart Adobe Reader.
Note:
"Purpose of Reader XI Protected Mode is to keep your system safe from PDF based exploits and keeping protected mode OFF will leave your system vulnerable.”
Please turn back on the protected mode checkup after this testing.
This seems to be a fix! Thank you for your help. Now comes the tricky part. I have to deploy this as a package across a gov. network using SCCM. How do I get this to all the users with "enable protected mode..." unchecked. I can't give them something that does not work out of the box.

It is not advisable to turn off protected mode as Purpose of Reader XI Protected Mode is to keep your system safe from PDF based exploits and keeping protected mode OFF will leave your system vulnerable.
Please let me know few details so that I can reproduce the issue at my end.
1) Will it be possible for you to send any test file in which the issue is reproducible.
2) Can you please check where the certificate (from which the PDF is signed) is stored. (Is it stored at Trusted Root Certificate Authorities or some other store?)
3) Do you use any other tool other than Adobe Reader plugin to digitally sign/ open a PDF ? (Is any tool other than Adobe Reader is involved?)

Please do the below test to see if the issue occurs due to signatures applied to the PDF document.
1) Launch Reader go to Edit -> Preferences -> Security (Enhanced) and check "Enable Protected Mode at startup" and clock OK.
2) Goto Edit -> Preferences -> Signatures and select Verification . Uncheck "verify signatures when the document is opened." and click OK.
3) Restart Adobe Reader
4) Now open the digitally signed protected PDF file in which the issue was observed.
Please let mw know the observation.

It has nothing to do with the signatures applied. Any document with a
signature block, even blank documents, will not open unless the "enable
protected documents at start up" is unchecked. It is the same across the
board for all documents weather signed or unsigned with a signature block. I
have it working on my machine, I just need to figure out how to install over
the network with the block unchecked during installation.

root CA because all certs are miiitary

A doubt : If the document is not signed (like you mentioned unsigned documents also face the same issue) then how exactly the document is protected. Is it protected using any certificate?
I cannot find any attached PDF form . Please resend it again.
I am unable to reproduce the error now. Even with the protected block check.
Im not sure if there was a Group Policy change that enabled this. As of now,
it looks like the issue has been resolved. I appreciate all the help.
