Why I can't print on any wifi printer?
I use my iPad 2 in my enterprise, and also at home. Apple advertised that iPad was the first device that is the real alternative to home Pc and also for some enterprise works. In my experience of a few months with iPad 2, i realize of the efforts done by apple to try that this device can do the same than a desktop or laptop PC, but for the time being, it's not enough. For example, why AirPrint only prints via wifi on hp printers? This service must be an universal service, printing to the most quantity of printer possible. I have some Epson wifi printers on my factory and also one at home, and I can' t print on it. Yes I know that buying third party applications, you can print on it. But this applications are not integrated with iOS, and you can't print in a transparent way from, for example safari menu or iOS integrated email client. If with this not free third party applications, you can print on all wifi printer, why apple don't integrates it on iOS, in order to print without problems to any printer?

AirPrint only works on HP printers because HP is the only company to date that have included that capability in their printers. It's up to the printer manufacturers to provide AirPrint support. Other printer manufacturers have said that they are "monitoring" the technology, but I've not seen any announcements of any planned support for other companies.

Typically it's the printer manufacturers who write the drivers and they may be unwilling, or there may be issues with giving them the necessary access to the core of iOS. There's no way anyone here can know for certain. You can comment to Apple on the issue of printing here:

For now, there are ways to enable AirPrint printing through your computer. A web search should turn up information.

OK, out of nowhere my 4th gen ipod doesnt see a wifi network. Its not grayed out I can still click the wifi to the on position but then it just stays on that screen where it should list the wifi networks and just keeps searching. I've taken it to multiple locations and still it doesnt see any wifi networks. My ipod is on the current ios version 5.1.1

I have a MacBook Pro. My mac can detect wifi. But will not connect anywhere. I did get connected via TCP/IP settings but I can't connect to any wifi anywhere. Network diagnostic has a green light for wi-fi and wi-fi settings. Red light for the rest. (Network settings, ISP, Internet and server.)

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the computer wont connect to networks. I see you have used network diagnostic. I would recommend that you read this article, there are a lot of other things you can do in this article that may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

Can't Connect to any WiFi network
I just got my iPhone yesterday and I'm already having a serious problem,I can't connect to any WiFi networks.
I can see the networks around me and I can select networks that I've setup and I know are open or I know the security passwords, I can even enter the network passwords for the ones that require them and it accepts them without complaint. When I select a network I get a little check mark next to that network which I assumes means it should be connected to that network. However, the iPhone never actually connects to them, i.e. no IP address, no router no nothing in the network settings screen for each network, and always appears to the using the Edge wireless network when accessing the internet.
I've tried DHCP and static IP but neither works.
I updated the phones software to 1.1.4, has anybody reported problems like this with this or any version of the software.
Any help would be much appriciated.
If I can't get this resolved today I'm returning to the AT&T store tonight for a new one.

I have personally used an iPhone with routers from D-Link, Netgear, Linksys, Apple and Belkin.
Some routers, regardless of manufacturer need to have their firmware updated. Generally speaking if you look at the release notes, the same updates that resolve issues with DHCP for game systems and PDAs, also resolves them for the iPhone.
In addition hardware or MAC address filtering can cause issues where you connect to the network and not get DHCP.

My iPhone 4s has been update as I said in subject bar.. Now can't connect to any of my cars Bluetooth systems. Also even more frustratingly can't connect to any wifi networks at home or work!!
How can apple put out such an update that causes so much grief and inconvenience to hundreds of people. Not to mention risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working...outraged!!!!!!First, grow up. Just because YOUR phone isn't working, doesn't mean Apple put out bad software. I've not had any difficulty, nor has anyone else I know. And just how is Apple risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working? It's YOUR decision to talk on the phone or text and drive. Not Apple's.
We're users here, volunteering our time to help others. Posts like yours, which are whiny and ranting, simply means we're likely to ignore you and not provide you with any help. Not to mention, it makes you look absolutely foolish.
Further making you look foolish is the fact that you haven't even asked a technical support question, nor have you provided anyone here with any troubleshooting steps you might have taken, including those recommended in the user guide.

Please help me restor my system in my iphone5 Bcoz I got this problem that I can't connect to our wifi in our home after I upgraded this iOS7.0.4...totally very disturbing and frustrating even my outside I can't search any wifi connections ant my network service when I'm in home is very slow my Rogers network is only 1 bar so even I will open my Data I can't really connect so meaning no network connections when I'm in my Bedroom and No wifi connections too I can only possible got connections when I get near the Reuter of the wifi like now while I'm doing this report but in my bedroom totally nothing and not even connecting when I bring this to Rogers outlet where I bought this iPhone,I can't even search or connect in the store wifi itself...very disappointed this problem last 1week already please help me it never happen before just now after I upgrade that iOS7.0.4
Thanks for this mha007 - I can now open FF with a new profile. Can I copy my settings from the old profile or will this bring over the same problem, maybe a corrupt file. If it would bring the same problem, is there any way I can check which file is corrupt, apart from taking them over one by one?

So when I try to plug in My iPhone 4 to any plug it won't turn on or charge unless if I use an iPad charger. When I do get to turn it on. My Phone will Standby for a few seconds( While I'm Typing my 4-Digit Code) then it'll unlock and go to the home screen. Once I'm on the home Screen I can't Call, Text or Email anyone because my iPhone Can't detect any Wifi Hotspots and it also can't connect to my Service Provider, It'll just Say "Searching...". The non-internet apps work perfectly fine. So since I was able to use Just an iPad Charger to turn on my iPhone 4, I tried a Regular iPhone charger that were plugged into a wall or my computer. When its Plugged in, my iPhone will turn on ( Showing the Apple Logo) then turn back off. It'll constanly do this only when it's plugged into a Regular iPhone Charger, Either plugged into a Wall Socket or my Computer. So I Tried to Restore the Phone by using some of the Methods, given by other iPhone 4 Users, non of them worked. My iPhone won't Restart, Restore, Turn on without a Charger, Be Detected on my Computer and Detect my Service Provider. I really need help to fix my iPhone 4. I'm really not sure if it's a Malfunction with the Software on the iPhone, if my Sim Card is Broken. if the System is Corrupted but it only happens Rarely.

Can no longer see ANY wifi networks
I have a 4.5 year-old PowerBook (titanium) 550... it seems my airport card is simply no longer working. No matter where I am, even when I know there is a network there and I have the password to access that network, my airport card cannot seem to see any networks. This includes networks that I control and know the settings have not changed.
This started about a month ago; for a few days I couldn't see any networks. Then, suddenly, I was able to, and connect without a problem, for about a week. Now, however, it seems the problem has returned and is permanent.
Any ideas? Could the internal antennas be messed up? Or do the airport cards sometimes just go bust?

My Apple TV (3rd generation) does not attemp to find any wifi networks since two day ago. Sometimes it does find and connnects to my home wifi network, but it loses connection in a couple of minutes at the longest. When I plug in an ethernet cable, the apple TV works just fine. But when I disconnect it, same thing happens all over again. I have tested several modifications and now I am sure this is not an issue of the router or the network settings.
If anybody has a solution, please be kind to let me know. I can't even get my apple TV replaced since I'm overseas. -
Upgraded to 10.5.8 now can not print to any network printer.
The only way I can print is through a shared printer on another Mac. All the printers I used to print to on the network now will not leave the mac print queue. I have reset the printers. Deleted and created new printers and I still can't print. Print job hits queue and just stops. If I try to resume it says empty print file. On the other hand if I go through another Mac's shared printer I can print to any printer set up on that Mac that is shared.
If this printer is able to function when connected directly to the Mac, it should work properly when connecting to it using DAVE. Have you tried connecting it directly to your Mac since upgrading to Mac OS X v10.5.8?
Please contact me directly so that I can help resolve this problem. I don't have the specific printer in question, but I'm sure that we can find a resolution.

HELP! Can't pick up any wifi anywhere and internet is soo slow
For about the last week i am unable to pick up any wifi anywhere, its not even giving me the option to turn on my wifi. And my internet has been completely slow or wont connect at all. I have the iphone 4s. I reset it, reset the network settings, deleted apps, pictures and dont know what else to do, can anyone pleaseeee help??? Thank you
