I'm assuming you're referring to the back cover of a book in iPhoto. The reason is non of the themes have a photo on the back cover. Some have a small photo on the back of the dust jacket. Go to the back cover, click on it and check out the various layouts available.
In the future include full sentences and specific information about what you're trying to accomplish, what versions of software you're using, etc. so we don't have to guess.

Can I use a photo as the color for my text swatches

I want to create a set of letters (Lake in Wood Camping Resort) that use a photo of the campground as their swatch, instead of a solid color. Can I do this? If yes, how? I am a novice at INDESIGN so need all the help I can get.
My thought would be to place text over the photo, using a large open font, that only shows stroke, no color in the swatch. So you could "see thru the Letters into the campground) then, delete the photo but still have the font contain the colors of the photo. Am I dreaming or is this possible? 2. Draw white box to cover image
3. Place text on top
4. Set opacity of text (effects panel) to 0. Text dissapears
5. Group with white box from step 2
6. With group selected choose Knock Out Group (effects panel)
This preserves live text.

Can I Use Chrome Polish On The Back Of My 4g?

So I've had my ipod touch 4g for almost a year now, and it has been in a hard cover almost all the time. From me removing the case mainly I have gotten many noticeable scratches on the flat part of the back. Since its a stainless steel back, can I use chrome polish on it? I dont want to ruin anything. Also does chrome polish just fill the imperfections in the surface? Thanks.

You can. However, you will likely make it look worse. Also you risk getting the polish in the the volume and power buttons and the headphone jack.

Using a photo as the background when creating a book.

In the 08 version, the photo background could be used no matter which page layout was selected. For some unknown reason with 09, you can only use a photo as the background when you select "two" and click on the choice that has one picture frame as the page layout. When other layouts are selected, to include "two" with the two pictures frames, when you try to drag a photo into the background it will take that picture and add a photo to the page, but not as the background. Instead of having a photo in the background you went from two frames to three, or three to four, etc., with a blank background.

I got it to work. I went to another theme, added the photo to the background and then went back to the Travel theme. I got it to stick. I also could change the layout to more or fewer photos per page and keep the background photo. Not the best solution but at least it worked. It sounds like you are trying to setup Photo Stream on your PC. I recommend following these steps to setup Photo Stream on your PC:
On a Windows computer
Your computer must have iCloud Control Panel 2.1 or later installed. You can download it athttp://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.
Open the iCloud Control Panel, then turn on Photo Stream.
To change the default Photo Stream upload and download folders, click Options. Click Change to choose a folder, then click OK.By default, photos are automatically downloaded to the My Photo Stream folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library, and uploaded from the Uploads folder inside the Photo Stream album in your Pictures library.
To make your changes take effect, click Apply.
When you import photos from a digital camera to the upload folder specified in the iCloud Control Panel, the photos appear automatically in My Photo Stream on your iOS devices and your computers set up with My Photo Stream.

Can I use iCloud Photo Library on just one of my Devices

I have an iPhone and an iPod touch. Can I use iCloud photo library on my iPhone and not on my iPod touch? Could I see them on my iPod if I do so?
The reason I am asking is because I have like 600 photos on my iPod and only like 50 on my Phone so I would like to put the photos from my phone onto iCloud Photo Library.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
Good luck Liz, if you have Time Machine running as a back up to your library, maybe you wil be able to get help there, by following my instructions above.   Otherwise,   good luck with your investigations.   I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

Why I can't use javac? and why my program doesn't pop up cmd window?

I have 2 questions here:
1) I try to compile my HelloWorld.java using command prompt,
javac HelloWorld.java
But it won't work; by right it should create a HelloWorld.class. When I go to Configure/Options/JDK Profile, it is already showing JDK version 1.6.0_07. My environment variables show User variables and System variables with C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_07\bin. This is where my JDK is stored, but I don't know why I can't use javac. It keep saying
'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file
2) Why is it when I run my java script using JCreator, the print out appear in the box below in JCreator and not in command prompt? How can I make it pop up on command prompt window?

Things tend to move fasterYep... until something goes wrong... then you're completely stuffed, because you have no idea what's actually happening, because the idjit IDE is hiding all the gory details... it doesn't even tell you what it's doing, let alone how it's doing it, or what to do when it fails.
Another argument for the command line is that it's simple. There are 16 distinct dialogues involved in adding a new jar to a library in jBuilder... There may well be less than 16 characters in the equivalent edition to the equivalent build command line. That's an extreme case, I admit, but it goes to disprove the notion that IDE's are simpler for noobs.
Also, it's easier to get help on command line usage... because it's all text based you can just copy & paste the problematic command and it's output, and the eggspurts (tm) can do likewise with a response... and there are limited number of command lines out there... and *nix, windows, and mac cover maybe 99.5% of java users... and the eggspurts are likely to know all three (colectively if not as individuals) fairly well, because they deal with them all day every day.
My belief is that noob's are better off at the command line until such time as they need (not just want to play with) a visual debugger... at which time its time to download netbeans and eclipse, and see which one suits you better... if you have money to splurge I'd also evaluate intelliJ... But avoid jBuilder, 2008 is total carp! The FREE eclipse is (IMHO) "nicer to use", and it has a LOT less bugs.

On a new device you can only download what is currently stored in "My Photo Stream" in iCloud. iCloud keeps up to the last 1000 photos, but only the photos, that have been added during the last month. Older photos may be removed, when the time is up. On other devices you may be seeing older photos as well in "My Photo Stream", that will depend on the available storage on those devices, and when the Photo Stream has been enabled on those devices, see: My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support
If you are seeing other photos in the Photo Stream on other devices, that you want to save, mail them to you from the other devices.
Have you tried to restore your iPhone from the last iCloud backup of the old phone? The backup will contain the photos in the Camera Roll, but not the photos in Photo Stream. iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

We can use function in select statement but we couldn't use procedure with one out parameters in select statement... You can use Function because they are designed for this but procedure are not. Functions can return value (without OUT parameter) which can be used in SELECT whereas procedures do not have such concept. As you can see in the above post you can not call even functions also if it has any out parameter.
I have just trying to use procedure in select statement ..for this I require technical answer..The technical answer is because conceptually procedure is for doing set of operation, performning DMLs on the tables , whereas functions are for processing and producing a single result. Functions are basically for not using INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE in it. That is the reason they are allowed to be used in SELECT because conceptually they are not supposed to do any data changes.
