Why I cannot open "Domain. sites"

Question

I have two domains Domain.1 and Domain.2 parked in the iWeb folder. After I publish one page and go back to open iWeb the following window pops up:
The document "Domain sites" is invalid the index.xml is missing
iWeb can't open file: "Library/Application support/iWeb/Domain.sites"
Although I can open again iWeb by trashing "Domain .sites" in the iWEb folder, I wonder why is this happening.

Try this.
1 - rename the two domain files to "Domain-1.sites2" and Domain-2.sites2" and put them in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.
2 - download and launch iWebSites
3 - click on the Domain-1 file in iWS, click on the Default button and then click on the Open Now button.
4 - iWeb will open the Domain-1 site file. Make some changes, save and quit out of iWeb.
5 - in iWS click on the other Domain-2 file, make it the default and use the Open Now button.
6 - repeat step 4.

See if this will let you move between the two sites, make changes, etc. without having to delete any file.
