Why I cannot run Firefox, it keeps saying that unable to connect?

I downloaded Firefox and ran the program, but it keeps saying unable to connect. When I closed Firefox and open Explorer I can go on the internet with no problem, please help me to solve this.

If you get a network timeout error, then disabling the computer's security software duirng the download and update usually resovles that error.
If that is not the error what is the wording of the error message.
Note that only a 3G or 4G iPod can go to iOS 5. A 2G iPod can only go to iOS 4.2.1

I am having the same issue... Please advise...
I avidly use facetime DAILY and for about 3-4 days now, whenever I try and send or receive facetime request it hangs up immediately without ever picking up. If you still have your old card listed on your account then try selecting the 'none' option and remove it and then try entering the card's details from scratch. If that doesn't work then what is the full error message that you are getting, and the card is registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing) that you have on your iTunes account ?

because you do not have a 3rd generation device. The OS Version says so , otherwise you would be at 4.3.5 minimum and also Itunes is also always correct in determining if you have the latest OS ( if not it fetches the newest from Apple's Servers ) . And because a 2nd generation iPod stops at 4.2.1 you can't get the newest OS, because your device is old. Buy a new iPod , they have iOS5 preinstalled.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

If the App Store doesn't recognize your password, you should try to log into iTunes on your PC and make sure your password still works. If it doen't work there you may have been hacked and you will need to get in touch with Apple directly.

You may want to update your iPhone using iTunes on a computer if your device only shows "estimating time remaining" when you try to update wirelessly:
If you can’t update wirelessly, or if you want to update with iTunes, follow these steps:
If you use your device's Personal Hotspot for your computer's Internet connection, update your device wirelessly or connect your computer to another network.
Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
Plug in your device to your computer.
In iTunes, select your device.
In the Summary pane, click Check for Update.
Click Download and Update.
