Why I cant add some video files to itunes library?

I have got new ipad 32gb model. I thought I will play some song videos or movies on it from my PC. I added video files to the itunes library. But I see only few files that are added to the itunes library. I cant add some video files to itunes library no matter what I do. Due to that I cand all movies to my Ipad. Please help!

Hi like to explain my experience,
I am using Windows 8 PC and Windows 7 Lap top.
I convert my video to ipad format and add to library in the itunes.
But it was not accepting and these steps worked for me.
1.Convert your video using videoconverters. For freemake video converter works well. You can also use Quicktime pro or Miro video converters. There are many softwares freely avilable.
2.Connect your i pad to your PC/ Laptop.
3.Open your itunes, it should show your ipad and Library.
4.Open the folder of your converted video and try to opening it using itunes by right click.
5.Your converted movies will open in itunes and add to home sharing videos in Library movie option after you login with your apple id.
6.Slect sync movie option and syncronising it.
7.It will come in ipad

I can't import or add a video file. The file is MP4. When I try to add to library, iTunes doesn't do anything. What should I do to have that video be in my library.

Do you have the "show only the synched items" box checked? It's on the summary page when you have Apple TV selected under devices in iTunes. I had this problem and it took me a while to see it...now if my Apple TV would just stay connected to iTunes......or if someone could help me downgrade to 2.0 I'd be golden.

Solved. I changed the iT folder and my iP got lost the connection with the proper library. Had to change it back and re-connect to the correct library.

I am unable to add home videos to my itunes library

Ever since I updated Itunes to the latest version I have been unable to add home videos that have been converted to the proper format into my Itunes library so that I may sync it with my mobile device. Can you tell me why? What needs to be done so that I am able to so again?

does it say your nano has no more capacity left? Your itunes should have a bar at the bottom of the screen to let you know how much space is taken up.

Why I cant render the video file

Currently I am doing the dvd menu, and my content is all input jpg file as I try to create a 'photo' DVD for my client. Is that possible?Or I need to convert it become mpeg file format just enable to render. As I want my client select the picture them want to look rather than slide show is taking plenty of time.

wish to do more alike in flash animation. As I am beginner of the En user, I
didnt know about how the software can help me to create the animation as
flash type. Of course, I try to find some tutorial through websites and
youtube. But none of the technical is I look for.
Yes! I importing the JPEG file into the En to try create more alike 'flash'
animation within the dvd to deliver my audience more incredible feeling.
Unlike normal DVD we bought that only have a simple transaction between each
scene such as fade in & out. As I wish to create more interaction between
each scene.
The pixel dimension of the JPEG file is 1920 x 1280.
About the Encore unable to render, is mean that I found the tutorial that
them able to pre-render the video with the setting them want and publish to
pretest whether all the icon and menu is able function... but when I try,
the icon of the render is not function...
By the way, did Flash .swf file able to convert become dvd format and burn
into the dvd disc and play in the dvd player?And also, please advice me any
kind of solution can solve my problem.
Now, I was using the flash to create the dvd interface as well as the
transaction between. As this project I wish to impress my client that dvd
can also be very creative and useful as a powerful & influence multimedia
tools to communication with customer.

Can not add a video file to Itunes library and even when I try to open the video using "open with Itunes", Itunes start but instead of the video I see the music library

iTunes cannot play nor convert WMV files. You'll need to use a third-party application to convert the video to a format iTunes can accept.

is there any way to add multiple .m3u files to itunes library so they result in multiplay playlist instead of a big playlist? thanks

I haven't done it, but the approach to try would be to CTRL-click them, so that multiple of them are highlighted, and them drag them to the word PLAYLISTS. Try it with two and see if it works before you do it with more.

Highlight QuickTime, click CHANGE then REPAIR.

In addition to Mike's suggestions, you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

I need to get some video files onto my iphone from a computer that does not have my itunes library on it

Currently I am away from home, and using a computer that does not have my main itunes library on it. I do, however, have some video files on this computer that I would like to place onto my phone for the drive home tomorrow. Unfortunately, It seems there is no way to do this without completely wiping my iPhone and replacing it with this computers empty library, as the "manage content manually" feature apparently requires me to do this. Is there any way to just add some mp4s to my iphone without erasing all of its data?.

An easy way of combining movies in QuickTime:
To combine two movies:
   1. In QuickTime Player, choose Edit > Select All to select the entire contents of the first movie.
   2. Choose Edit > Copy, then open the second movie.
   3. Move the playhead to the point at which you want to insert the movie (usually the very beginning or end of the original movie), and choose Edit > Paste.
   4. Choose File > Save As to name and save the new movie.
You can continue to add on to the saved movie.

this should help a lot. i've had the same problem w/ my ipod but i ended up fixing the problem and having about 5 videos on my ipod (until it was stolen). nevertheless, download a program called Videora Ipod Converter. once you're done installing it, click on Setup on the tabs to your left and then click Profiles. After that, create a profile with the following settings.
Existing Quality Profiles: (create new profile i.e. ipod)
Profile Name: (same as above)
Mode: MPEG-4 > CBR Bitrate: 768kbps
Resolution: 320x240 Framerate: 29.97fps
Passes: One
-audio settings-
bitrate: 128kbps Channels: stereo Sample rate: input
after that, you should be fine. make sure you use the one-click transcode because you wont be able to complete fully with the transcode option (i forgot why because its been such a long time since i had my ipod)
