Why i cant receive messages

i cant receive messages but i can able to sent, and it keeps on asking me a password
and i don't know which password must i put. and if i put any password it says password

It would be your email providers server asking for your email password. Work with your provider if you do not know your password.

There is no resolution needed, as this is not a problem.
I am saying not the device, but the Apple ID is what needs to be the same, unless the movie is rented.
If the movie is rented, it can only reside on one device at a time. But from your error message above, I don't think that is your situation.
Your error message suggests a different Apple ID purchased the movie. If you want to see it, you must use your computer's iTunes, go to Store > Authorize This Account in the iTunes menu on your computer, and have that purchaser sign in with their Apple ID and password, then sync your iPad to that computer.

Why do I receive messages with only a date, no subject, no from, no body, etc.?

at varying times I receive messages with a blank subject, no entry in [from, to] no body, but a date in 1969.
Any ideas why I receive these?

I tried emptying the inbox, deleting the 2 files, and restarting TB.
I did the same for Sent and Trash.
I also deleted all .msf files for all inbox sub-folders and for all folders and sub-folders under "My Mail".
the problem persists.
My inbox has many sub-folders and sub-sub-folders should those be moved to My Mail?
Another problem I am having. I do not know if it is related.
I have a stack of filters that move incoming mail into folders. The stack ends with 2 filters.
(1) a filter that checks whether FROM is from someone in my mail lists. It then moves the message into a folder called "Known Sender".
(2) a psuedo-ELSE filter that check whether the subject contains a very improbable string. It put the message in a folder called ") Suspicious".
Sometimes I still end up with folders in Inbox that clearly should be in the two folders, "Known Sender" or ") Suspicious".

You can call applecare to check and make sure your number has been removed from the system. If it is removed and it has been more than 24 hours you would need to have people that you text with an iPhone go to settings>messages and make sure send as SMS is on.

It sounds like you are not receiving messages from other iPhones after switching to an Andriod device. I found an article with the steps you will need to take to straighten this out:
Symptoms
This article will provide assistance if you're experiencing any of the following symptoms:
You are unable to receive SMS on your non-Apple device when sent from another person using an iPhone.
You are unable to send SMS to a non-Apple device because they are sent as an iMessage.
Resolution
If you are experiencing one of the symptoms above, the cellular phone number may still be registered with iMessage. iMessage is registered with your cellular telephone number when you turn it on with your iPhone. If you want to deregister your phone number:
Tap Settings > Messages and turn iMessage off
If you still cannot deactivate iMessage after you perform the steps above, or if you no longer have access to the iPhone, please contact Apple support for assistance.
If you don't have access to your old iPhone, you will need to reach out to Apple support for additional assistance.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try all of those, then if there are still issues, provide specifics of what is occurring.

From craigslist cant receive message forwarding emails

Hi if i am on craigslist and want to send an email to my husband regarding something i found that he may be interested in (email a friend ) i will enter my and his info but he will never receive the email i sent him???!!!! Why is this happening? Please advise!

I just tested this from one of my emails to another and it worked fine.
I suggest that you log into your account at your providers web mail page and see if the message is going to the Spam folder.
Otherwise contact Craigslist and see why it does not work for you. Thunderbird has no interaction with this send process and can only download messages that actually arrive in your Inbox. If the message does not arrive in your Inbox then Thunderbird cannot download it.

I am having the same problem. I have checked my card reader, disk space, external drive space etc etc and have had no success. I have attempted to use my camera connection instead of card reader and still the same error comes up. I am able to physically copy the files to the hard drive by copy and paste in OS and the files are on my drive. Still lightroom wont read them on import. I had no trouble firing up the old laptop (windows based) and using windows to backup these files from card reader to external hard drive and then opening them in photoshop elements and ACR. I shoot both RAW and JPEG and it seems that it is only the CR2 files that it cannot read however I have lightroom set that it recognises the RAW and JPEG as one file. I found (possibly on this forum somewhere) that it may be a permissions error. Even though I have had no recent updates from apple that I know of I have run "repair permissions". This too has not helped. I am still on the trial period of lightroom as my computer is new in the last month and able to run lightroom now.
I am out of ideas.... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

HT1688 cant receive messages to my galaxy s3 from other iphone users

How do you deactivate this imessage thing so that all iphone users can send messages to my new galaxy s3... I hate to ask them to deactivate on their end.. there has to be a better solution. Any help?? please

Do you still have access to the iPhone or iOS device you were using with iMessage?
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Toggle Off

Switched from iphone to andriod, cant receive messages from wifes iphone

So last week I bit the bullet after 5 years and switched from my iphone to an android device. My wife is sending me messages from her iphone and its still trying to submit it via imessage, and not via SMS.
I have removed my iphone from my icloud account and actually sold the phone on so its no longer accessible by myself. My wife has now disabled imessages on her phone and SMS's are now coming through, but she has other family members and friends that use imessage and she wants to continue using it.
Surely its possible for me to take my number to another OS without losing the abilty to recieve SMS from iphone users??

Thunderbird updated overnight and now I cant receive messages using the same settings?

Thunderbird new release 31.5.0 (downloaded last night) connects to the POP server but does not download the messages from the server.
Previous releases were working fine and downloading messages.

I had tried many ways. But it still doesn't work.

Power cycle your device to see if this takes care of the issue. (home button and sleep/wake button holding down simultaenously until device turns off)
if this does not take care of the issue go to settings>General>reset>reset networking settings
After resetting you will then need to go to wi/fi to plug back in the password to your wi/fi router.
