my dad bought me an ipad mini with retina display last 2 weeks ago and i noticed, it dont have facetime, just only imessage and it works properly... Only FaceTime lack in build in.. I hve cellular+ wifi.. Hope u can help me

If it originated in Saudi Arabia or the UAE, it’ll never have FaceTime. If it originated from a different Middle East country, it may lose it if unlocked or taken outside the region.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Also make sure your iPad has plenty of free space for the iOS to run efficiently. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. On each device, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Make sure that each device is using separate addresses and phone numbers. If your email address is checked on both devices, Your husband will recieve everything he intends to send to you.
Do the same for FaceTime.

As far as I could see - only once. All morning I have had trouble with connecting to my WiFi. I blame AppleSupport who were trying to help me with a totally different problem and they asked me to "Reset" my iPad - and I lost my Wifi connection and had a huge amount of trouble getting back on. Now every time I boot up the iPad and try to get on-line it asks for my Password for WiF! Not happy.

Cant get FaceTime to work on new mini IPad....any suggestions? It keeps verifying but it will not work, it allows me to get apps. Facetime and iMessage on Macbook Pro Retina display slow after Yosemite 10.10.3 Update

I recently updated my Macbook Pro Retina display to Yosemite 10.10.3 update. I see that the Facetime and iMessage has become relatively very slow. Like for example when someone calls on my phone it takes like more than 15 seconds + to show up on my macbook. Earlier it used to be like instant!
I started seeing this problem on Yosemite 10.10.3 update only. Also the same is the story with iMessage. When I get an SMS or an iMessage from my friends it takes like a good 30 seconds + to show up on my macbook pro.
Just for your information, this is the version of macbook i am using
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
251GB Flash storage
As Suggested by someone I also tried RESETTING my computer's PRAM. That didn't seem to help either. Can anyone help. If it is a genuine bug in Apple Yosemite, I'd like to file a bug in the community.

Why do i get a usb power warning from my retina display macbook pro?

When home, i connect my 13" retina macbook pro to my thunderbolt monitor. I have my ipad and iphone thethered to the monitor via usb for charging, sync and so on. I frequently get warning messages stating that my "usb devises are drawing too much power your my computer, one or more of your usb devises has been disabled". This is just one more delightful little problem I've had since acquiring a retina display macbook and/or updating to 10.8.4......i could write a book! Anybody else experiencing this issue?

I don't have an answer for you. What you say sound right but is the TB display really supplying power to the USB ports on it or are they being powered from the notebook? I don't know as I don't have either a TB display or a retina MBP.
About the only thing to do is take it all into a apple store and let them figure it out. That is why they are there. To deal with the inconsistencies and problems with Apple devices.

Facetime not working on iPad Retina Display

As many of the others here have posted, Facetime isn't working on my brand-new iPad. It works on my phone and on my Mac through my email address and mobile phone number, but not on the iPad.
TEXAS MAC MAN I have already looking through the links that you are posting as a response to others who have had a similar problem, none of those suggestions work.
I've turned Facetime on and off again a few times in General Settings, but that hasn't helped.
Others can sometimes call me but I am unable to call out.
Any ideas? I am so frustrated by this as a primary reason I bought it was so that I could talk to my relatives overseas through Facetime. It really stinks that Apple doesn't have this sorted out.

The only thing that I can think of is a mechanical problem. Try inserting/removing the jack repeatedly for maybe a dozen times.
There is one other thought but it would stop the sound completely - with and without earphones/earbuds. If that's the case, I'll elaborate.

We'll the battery has its number of cycles, as time goes the battery will be used up and will need replacement. Try to close all apps running on your backround cause it will also use the battery life. Games with high end graphics will use more battery life due to more data processing involved.
