i'm using OS X Lion 10.7.2 but i don't have iCloud to use. why?

I would try to reinstall 10.7.2 first. If that does not work...
Did you try to activate it online? Go to icloud.com and see if you can sign in with your Apple ID.
You do know that most of the features of icloud are for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, etc) and if you only have a computer, some of the features are only accessible via the website.

Your profile states that you are using OS X 10.5.8, whereas OS X 10.7.2 is required for iCloud. If your profile is correct you will need to purchase and install OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and then purchase, download and install OSx 10.7 (Lion).

Backup with iTunes. If iTunes is asking you if you want to backup, say yes to that and it will backup your iPad. Have you ever synced with this computer before?
My boilerplate response for anyone that wants to update the iOS.
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and settings - along with other items - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.

Go to Settings>General>Restrictions>Accounts (near the bottom) and set this to Allow Changes. You will then be able to access Settings>iCloud again.

The options have changed in the latest version – reduced from six to one.
But easy enough to make the presets. Just duplicate; change the bit rates and save as custom.
Here are the 3 settings for Best Quality from C3.5, 120, 150, and 90 minutes respectively.
The difference between the above settings and Fastest Encode is 2 Pass vs 1 Pass.
Fame controls are off for SD sources and on for HD sources (to activate the Resize Filter).
The Dolby Digital preset for the audio stream is the same for all 3 settings.

Use 3rd party applications like skype or viber. If FaceTime is really important for you, then your only option is to sell your current iPhone and buy another one factory unlocked which is not of the country where FaceTime feature is removed from the device by law (avoid all iPhones from middle eastern countries to be on the safe side)

HT1338 why i don't have install os x in my applications

Hi evry one. I have just bought a brand new macbook pro late 2011 intel coure i7 from ebay and i am keep looking on youtube to learn how to restore it to factory setting there are few videos that they showing how to restor to factory setting. all of them has the install os x lion badge in their applications, but i can't find it in my laptop. why i don't have that software or options? if yes ....how to find it? regards

First of all, once Lion is installed, the installer will self destruct. In Lion, you have a recovery mode (pressing Command + R keys) while restarting - that should result in getting to Disk Utilities (from Apple's servers) where you can wipe your disk and reinstall. That should work if Lion was preinstalled on the machine and the seller called Apple to transfer the software license to you as the buyer.
However, if the Lion OS on that machine was not pre-installed on that machine, but purchased from the app store, you will not be able to reinstall. The reason: the license for Lion bought from the app store is not transferable. It is forever tied to the Apple ID used to purchase it. The seller is supposed to wipe the drive and reinstall the original system.
You will need to wipe the drive and start over.
So, you can either contact the seller and ask him to get you the original install disks or you can call Apple, give them your serial number, and ask to have the install disks shipped (for a nominal charge).
