Why i have this message?
Hi every one,
Since i downloaded OS XMavericks (maybe there is no link!), i receive that message when I'm using iBooksAuthor, Pages or Keynote.
Why?

What you are not identifying is--- what changed the file. The solution to your problem is knowing that and dealing with it.
I suggest you dupplicate or copy the book file and if the error message is still shoing - revert and examine what was removed.
Restarting your computer or whatever happens in Keynote of etc, will not help. The error meassage make it clear.. you have added somthing to the book which has corrupted the structure or you have been opening the iBA/ibooks file as a zip to rummage with the code pages.
You need to remember and investigate what action you were making BEFORE the file generated this message.

Make sure your Mac qualifies for Mountain Lion > Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
If you have anti virus software installed, disable that before downloading apps.
Turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall
Try deleting the cache, cookies, and preference files (plist) associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Now here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
com.apple.appstore.plist
com.apple.storeagent.pllist
Now here:
~/Library/Cookies
Click Go
Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Empty the Trash, try the App Store. -
i'm trying to redeem my itunes gift card and i get the message "session timed out." does anyone know why i'm not able to redeem my card and why i get this message in stead?
I've been having the same issues too, and thought it was just my outdated computer or account?!
Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above: Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable. I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I've been using the balance already in my iTunes account (from redeemed giftcards over the past few years) with no problem, until recently (my last successful purchase was October 2011). I wonder if it's the older OS or just a redemption glitch even with newer computers? -
My computer is shutting down before fully booting up. I am running the disk utilities program and have this message: Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk . . . disk, and restore your backed-up files. Can anyone suggest what I should do next?
So, you can't Install OSX to the external?
Or you can't boot from it when you do?

I have this message appearing "the application finder has unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows"...
So far it doesn't appear to be effecting anything that i can see on my imac BUT it is incredibly annoying and popping up at bad times, and it all happened when my imac automatically updated itself. So annoying. PLEASE help!!!Finder crashes are often caused by "Google Drive." If it's installed, I suggest you first check for an update. If that doesn't solve the problem, remove it according to the developer's instructions. You may need to start the computer in safe mode to do so. Back up all data before making any changes.
If you use Google Drive and don't want to remove it, then try deselecting the option in its preferences to "show status icons." According to reports, that may be enough to stop the crashing.
Similar cloud-data clients such as "Dolly Drive," "iDrive," "Open Drive," "Transporter Desktop," and others can cause the same problem. -

“556227.emlx” couldn’t be copied to “Messages” because an item with the same name already exists.
Is this a virus and if yes how can I get rid of it?

See whether a reset of Preferences solves the problem
A logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created. -

You are getting a kernel panic because you are trying to boot the computer with a Tiger DVD. That model requires 10.6.3 - Snow Leopard. You can purchase replacement discs from Apple:

When I try to sign in with my Apple ID (that I use with AppStore) to iCloud on my iPad2,
