why i have to reset my iphone 4s to make it work after some days? the apple support told me it's normal, that's true?
i don't know, i just make my iphone in stand by and sometimes whene i push the home button to open it, it doesn't, so i have to press the on/off and home button togheter. i called the apple support and they told it's normal, but i'm not very sure, because is the third time i reset my iphone in 1 week, and i think it's trange.

I have an itunes gift card which I cannot redeem. I enter the code correctly and am prompted to sign in over and over again. I have tried resetting the iPhone but the laptop I had itunes on is broken, is there another way?

Connect your USB cable to your computer but not to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until step 3.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button down, connect the USB cable to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. When this screen appears, you can release the Home button:
Note: If the image of a battery appears, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again. If you don't see the Connect to iTunes screen, try these steps 1 through 4 again.
iTunes should automatically open and display the following message:
"iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."Note: If iTunes not open after two minutes, please open iTunes yourself.
Use iTunes to restore the device.

Because it is activation locked. The previous owner has to remove the lock. It is to prevent lost or stolen phones from being used.

It has just changed my number over.I would not be able to give you idiot proof guide, since different games are different. Some of them have icloud integrated already, but those already taken care of. Some of them use specific logins and once you log - you get your info. General recommendation is to contact support sites of those games for enabling icloud instructions or enabling of transfer. There are other purely apple ways - like sync your phone in itunes and then sync apps with ipad, but those are only one time transfer. There is another way that is not typically recommended - restoring ipad from iphone backup. It may transfer your game content, but once again sync in the future has to be done by game.
So if I were you, I would address that individually with every game provider. -
Every time i connect my iphone to itunes and trying to do a backup or get the new update it says i have to restore my iphone. and then that doesnt work, i tried to reinstall itunes but it doesnt work. i get this all the time. fix it please.

Where are you and where did you get the phone? All iPhones come with a 1 year warranty from the original date of sale.
Make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and take it in for them to have a look at. -
I have a wifi connection but "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" I have reset everything; I have used Itunes to update and reset. Still no good. It worked until 2 days ago
Reset everything.. did you do this?
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings
If you're already been there, done that, could be a third party app preventing Safari from accessing the web.
Re sync your apps 5 at a time, then test the iPad. -
I would like to update to time capsule. My existing airport extreme is connected to 4 airport express around the house. If I install capsule, do I have to reset all express machines or will it work automatically?
Thanks!You need to start over.. the MAC addresses are different.. if you try it will fail.. even with the same names and same IP addresses because it is not the same box.. it is much better to start over.
And even use a wholly different naming structure.. short.. 2-20 characters no spaces.. and pure alphanumerics.

It seems that settings of mail accounts have something to do with it. I've delete my gmail account and am now using Microsoft Exchange. It seems better, yet not perfect. The issue is definitely due to OS 4.3.1
Apple answer is - no answer. It is a shame that the quality of their products, in terms of design and concept, is not match by a care for customers. It is not normal that I, as a customer, have to spend hours reading Apple Discussions forum to try to understand what the problem is. A little more respect for a customer that spend big $$$ buying their products wouldn't hurt. -

IF your imessage is saying waiting for activation then do this:
backup your phone to itunes or icloud.
then on your phone go to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone clean.
once the process is done, you can restore from the backup you made, then you should be able to activate your imessage.
