It is not clear to me what your issue is with not being able to sign in to your Adobe account to find the serial number. You should still be able to sign in and find your serial number if you registered the software.
If your first PC is a Windows machine you might be able to extract the serial number from it using the Belarc Advisor

Why Hashtable class name is like this instead of HashTable
I have a doubt in Collections, why Hashtable class name is like this, because, Every class name is start with CAPS like, ArrayList, SortedSet, etc. then the second name first letter should be in CAPS.
Is that any special for that. Can anyone clear my doubt

When I install itunes I received an error message like this:The exception unknown software exception (0Xc06007e) ocurred in the application at location 0x7c812afb. After the installation the computer is showing the message every time.
If you update your QuickTime Player, does that clear up the iTunes message?

Has anyone not been able to get the iTunes installer to load properly and get a message like this: This iTunes installer is intended for 32 bit versions of windows. Please download and install 64 bit iTunes installer instead. I have tried repeatedly to get this to load, I have uninstalled iTunes completely and reinstalled and still get the same message. I have windows XP and a brand new ipod touch which I am trying to load.

Why is Acrobat naming files like this?
Acrobat has recently began naming files I want to save from the internet with a series of seemingly random letters and numbers.
For instance, previously if I went to www.domainname.com and right clicked on a link www.domainname.com/top10acrobattricks.pdf to open in a new tab and then save it, or if I just right click and "save as" it used to name the file in the dialog box as "top10acrobattricks".
But recently it has been giving the files random names like "A9R75A4", and I have to rename every file before I save it. Does anyone know why it has started to do this?
BTW, every file begins with "A9R", with the next 4 letters and numbers different and random, i.e. no sequence to them.I'm used to these names for anonymous files created in Acrobat, or other apps. What criteria can I use in a smart mailbox to find all messages like this?
The message from Robert Nicholson <[email protected]> concerning “Hi Testing” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.
I have a lot of these because I use IMAP for my mail but there's no point in keeping these messages as they were deleted from the server a long time ago.Robert,
I am not sure what a Smart Mailbox would have to offer with respect to this?
However, the problem is likely not that the message has been deleted from the server, but that Mail 2.0 has problems with some IMAP servers at displaying some messages.
I am hopeful, but cannot assure anyone, that a fix is being worked on for this, and perhaps will be available sometime in the future.
If you were to access with a different version of Mail, such as 1.3.11, or another mail client, you might access these messages. Therefore, I would not be quick to try and eliminate them.

olympus xz-1 camera when connected to ipad2 with supplied usb cable into apple usb to 30pin adapter it prompts the ipad to display a message like " this device draws too much power to charge" and then i can go no further! if i take the card from the camera and put it into the card to 30pin adapter and plug that into the ipad no problems. if i connect the camera with supplied usb cable to desktop imac , no problems. if i connect my olympus slr to the ipad using its usb cable into the apple usb to 30pin , no problem . very frustrating , i don't want to always have to take the card out of the camera to down load photos to the ipad2,IDEAS?

Why doesn't the "more like this" section offer suggestions anymore in the netflix app?
In the netflix app there is an area labeled "More like this" and it usually show suggestions of other movies. After the last ATV update, it just shows "More like this..." but it doesn't show any movie suggestions. When I spoke with netflix, they said the problem was with Apple since they design the netflix app.
I would also like to know why the suggestions are missing. It seems to work when you select movies outside netflix.

I've set up my .css so that the <H2> is big and bold,
and that my <p> text is smaller and normal. The problem is
that I'm getting a line break gap between the two even when there's
not one in the HTML. There should be a space between the <p>
and <H2> (padding of 5), but not the <H2> and
<p>. The HTML is:

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2. -

THIS FILE DOES NOT HAVE A PROGRAM ASSOCIATED WITH IT FOR PERFORMING THIS ACTION. PLEASE INSTALL A PROGRAM, IF IT IS INSTALLED CREATE AN ASSOCIATION TO THE DEFAULT PROGRAMS CONTROL PANELSTOP SHOUTING! Or at the very least, get the CAPS lock key fixed.

Why does my cmus look like this?
It's in a screen session on Leopards terminal. It didn't do this before and I haven't updated anything and I'm confused. If I go to the cmus window, the rest of the screen windows look like that too and when I detach the term looks like that.
hrm, it only does it when I do
ssh -t me@foo 'screen -rd'
if I just ssh then do screen it doesn't

The weird part now is that it only does it when I put screen in my ssh command. Let me bold that part. I can live with hitting up arrow every time I login from this computer.

I am on the road and need to make space to download pictures friom my camea
I am shooting RAW and jpeg and on this vacation trip I have taken a lot of pictures so I need to delete several to accommodate the new ones. This appears to be easier said than done. I have Camera roll pictures, Photo Stream pictures plus some Albums
