Why I should use an iCloud mailbox?

Hello there. I discovered that now I can use a @icloud.com mail address simply enabling it from my iCloud preference panel in OS X. I have created an email address, but I have some questions:
What happens to my @icloud.com address if I don't use a Mac (or iPhone, iPad, etc.) anymore?
Will my iCloud mail be available forever from icloud website or using IMAP configuration?
What is the maximum space granted?
The final question is: why I should use an iCloud mailbox instead (for example) of a Gmail one? All contributes will be greatly appreciated!

4) It's up to you. iCloud email supports push notifications on iOS devices. That's about the only difference compared to any other IMAP email account. iCloud also syncs and backs up iOS devices.

I Have found that the new facebook account has been set up in someone's name using my iclound e-mail.

Do a backup.
Try System Preferences/iCloud and sign out. Then sign in with your new Apple ID.

You can't use your existing @icloud.com email address as the primary email address for your existing Apple ID. You have to use a non-Apple email address (such as Gmail).

Any reason why I should use Safari on my PC

I use Mozilla now. I now have an Iphone. Is there any reason why I should download and use Safari on my PC? I expect the functions will be different from IE or Mozilla or maybe better, but is it a good idea to download and use since I have an Iphone?

It's pretty irrelevant, unless you really want to sync bookmarks from your computer to your iPhone (you could do that with IE as well, but not Firefox).

Use the OTHER option instead of iCloud or MobileMe. Use the alias as the email address. Incoming mail server is mail.me.com. User name and password is your primary acct name. Outgoing server is smtp.mail.com.

Why we should use a NTSC or PAL Monitor?

if we are outputting to video for broadcast on tv, so we use a monitor to monitor the colour.(Only for the colour, or some other purpose?)
but if i just make it for web, 3G, and DVD? do i still need TV monitor?
How about HD?
if i use a HD monitor to edit a project, and for broadcast on HDTV, do i still need a HD monitor or sth, else?

By viewing the material on the final output display device, you prevent nasty surprises.
Video is interlaced, computers are progressive.
Video has a different gamma than computers (and macs are different than PCs).
NLE programs show you a proxy image, not the full resolution one.
If you work in HD (and HDV is a low end flavor of HD), you have much more expensive monitoring issues as you can't feed your NTSC/PAL monitor via firewire like you can with DV. You need a 3rd party card like the Kona LH or an external box like the Matrox MXO to convert the computer image to a HDTV image.
Viewing the work in progress on the appropriate monitor gives you on going quality control and the greatest confidence in your output. Other than that, no reason to use an external monitor.

Servlets are server exctension ( like CGI ) separate executable
modules to serve any request efficiently.
Servlets are pure java classes, u can use them the write an html code to browser.
u have to compile the servlet before u use it.
JSP page, is a text-base document , u can type html inside it , and u can use java as scripting language, so it is more easy to use jsp rather than servlet as each jsp page is translated into a servlet by JSP engine.

I have been trying to set up icloud on my devices. my iphone and ipad work fine. The problem is with my pc,it asked me for my apple id, but icloud uses a different id. is this a problem and if so how do you change id in icloud settings.

How can I use multiple icloud Accounts with Fotos?

Yesterday, my wife and I started using the new App "Fotos" on OSX and iOS.
What I can't figure out, and where I would like to get some insight and help, is how we should use our icloud Accounts.
How it is right now:
- Wife (MacBook and iPhone)
Has her own icloud-Account ([email protected]) for Backup (iOS) and Fotosync, Keychainsync, Bookmarks. 20GB iCloud-Account (18GB free).
- Husband (MacBook, Mac Mini and iPhone and iPad)
Has his own icloud-Account ([email protected]) for Backup (iOS) and Fotosync, Keychainsync, Bookmarks. 20GB iCloud Account (10 GB free).
- Husband has about 400 GB of Photos from over 10 Years on Mac Mini
How I want it to be:
- Husband
upgrades to at least the 500GB Account, to use for all 400GB of Photos and Backup, Keychainsync, Bookmarks.
- Wife
Has her own Account ([email protected]) for Keychain and Bookmark, but uses [email protected] on MacBook and iPhone for Backup an Fotosync, so that all Photos are stored in a single one family "container". All Photos in one Place without being able to forget to put them there.
I don't see, how I can accomplish that, since only one "real" icloud account seems to be possible in iOS, so that if i put my account in her iPhone I would get the Photo and Backup I want, but she would not be able to sync her own bookmarks an keychain any more.
Any thought on how to resolve this?
Am I missing something?

Yes, you could have multiple iCloud accounts for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Safari, Notes, and Find My iPhone, but only one primary iCloud account for Photo Stream, Documents & Data, and Storage & Backup.

Contacts uses Facebook names after connecting to iTunes everytime, what to do, that it always uses the iCloud names?

When friends use a different name in Facebook, than what the real name is, I told my iPhone to use the name like I entered it for the iCloud contact.
Anytime I connect my iPhone with iTunes it automatically changes back the names to the Facebook ones, and I have to change it again manually for like 50 contacts, that is very very annoying! How can I change it that the iPhone should use the iCloud names for every contact or at least for the one with different Facebook/real names as default?

I would use iTunes Home Sharing to share the song you have and she can then add it to her library. Although, it seems as if she has never had a library since the phone was never connected to iTunes. My understanding of using iCloud is that for her to use a song that isn't in iTunes, you have to use iTunes Match, and there is a cost involved in this. If her phone was synced to her own iTunes library on a computer, you could use the Home Sharing as I indicated earlier.

Is it safe to use Mavericks iCloud keychain or not?

I am not sure whether or not I should use Mavericks icloud keychain to store all information. How safe is it or good idea?

My personal choice, is that I only use it for non-critical and/or convenient uses.
I put web site passwords into it that I do not feel as a security risk to me. My banks for instance are not stored.
I do not put credit card numbers in.
Like any cloud service, only store on it what you are prepared to have stolen or lost if that service is compromised.
If you do use keychain locally or by iCloud, make sure that your computer is password protected, encrypted if you feel that it needs to be and setup so a secure password is required on booting, logins, recovery from sleep and screensaver etc.
If others are able to access your user account and you are using keychain, they will have full access to all your sites etc.

There are several versions of the Servlet specification, You need the web.xml to tell the server which version of the spec your application conforms to so the server knows how to deal with different things.
If you have a servlet, you also need the web.xml to define what URL signals a request that should be handled by your servlet.
At this point, you need to sit down and read a book. Do what it says, blindly at first. Just do what it says (but do try to understand the 'what' of it, just don't question the 'why'). After you have a few applications running, go back and ask yourself this question again and try to see what you are using the web.xml for in those applications you have.

Tired of the cox communications inability to imap emails, going to dump it completely want to use the icloud email address I have, why can't I change my apple id to that email address

This is exactly what I want to do but don't think I can:
I noticed the following :
If you attempt to create an Apple ID which is the same as your @icloud email address from the online facility, it does not allow you (can't use an Apple associated email address as your Apple ID). However - if you start a fresh device - such as a new iPhone, iPad (must be mobile it seems), and then create an iCloud account and Apple ID from the prompts when setting up the mobile device, it IS possible to have your Apple ID and @iCloud email address as the same. I know because I just did it!
Unfortunately for me, the result I got above is not for one of my own ID's but a friends, and I would VERY much like to do the same - my current Apple ID is a completely different email address from my iCloud account. Trying to get them the same in my situation is a major bother - I think that if I wipe a device (such as an iPhone5 that is mine) and try to setup as I did my friend's device, then I will get a conflict because the iCloud email I have ALREADY exists. This is my worry and I will not attempt this until I get the new iPad 4 soon to test this.
There is an inconsistency here between the two methods of creating Apple ID's and iCloud accounts.
Overall in my opinion, the Apple ID system as currently available from Apple is not designed very well, and should be addressed.
