Why ibooks show 16 copies in icloud of each purchased book in my iphone?

I'm using iOS7 on the iphone and Maverick on the Mac. That's amazing! Now I can read my books on the Mac!!!
But also... now I've a nice screen when I look at my purchased books in the ibooks app of my iphone. It shows 16 copies of each purchased book. If you have purchased 50 books, now you see 800 covers to search within when you are trying to find a book. Good job!!
And I'm not going to say anything about pdf... (perhaps I can fix it...)

I would love to post one, but, again, I don't know how. I clicked the camera on this window which led me to a pop up asking me to chose a photo to insert. I proceeded to choose the screenshot (.PNG), but it would not insert. Then I changed the photo to a .jpg. Again, it would not insert.
All it really is is a ton of books downloading (they are all gray-ed out). When they finish downloading, I delete the book. It will stay off of my screen for a few minutes and then re-appear as downloading again.

iBooks collections on my iMac don't sync the books to my iphone or iPad.
I have both setting on either in iBooks on Mac and both in iPhone and iPad.
The books are synced but not the collections.

Okay I feel kind of dumb now for posting but yeah that did the trick.
I had to disable reminder syncing on my iPhone, delete all reminders and then re-enable remidners and download them again. That immediately caused all reminders created on my Mac to sync properly to my iPhone. Let's hope it doesn't get stuck like that again...

Why can I download samples, but am unable to purchase books from ibooks on my ipad?

I recently encountered problems downloading and shopping for books at ibooks. I am able to download samples of books, but when I attempt to purchase them, I am unable to. I've rechecked my apple account information, and the credit card I'm using is up to date and listed. More recently, when I visit the ibooks store, no book titles are visible. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit confused by your question.
You say you have synced with your iMac, and that you have match turned on. If match is turned on you can't sync music any more.
Are the purchases new, or old ones?
Can you confirm that match is turned on on both the iMac and the iPhone.

Does anyone know why iBooks won't let me download a new purchase?

I am frustrated for some reason I cannot download from iBooks. I have over 20 books and for some reason it will not let me purchase a new book. I downloaded a sample but cannot get the entire book. Has anyone had this problem?

Songs I purchased on my iPhone not showing up in my itunes library, or purchase history. The iPhone was unauthorized, but connected to my iTunes account.

So I got a new iPhone about a month or two ago (I no longer have this iphone) and I bought some albums from iTunes but now that I'm on my computer (which the iphone is not authorized on) I cant seem to find out how to download the albums I downloaded. The albums were bought on the iPhone through the iTunes app that was associated with my account. The songs show as purchased on the iTunes store, but theyre not in my purchased list.

Why is Messages no longer showing up under my iCloud account in the "Internet Accounts" window? I recently deleted it and added it back, but then Messages went away. On my iPhone, it shows me logged in under my iCloud account and my cell phone number is synced with that iCloud account. Yet, on my Mac it isn't showing up.
I've already tried removing and adding the iCloud back several times.

The Messages app is supposed to grab the information from the "Internet Accounts." Messages has always included the ability to separately add Google, Yahoo, AOL, or other messages accounts; but, it has always grabbed the iCloud account information from the "Internet Accounts" section. Except for now, when the Messages option has disappeared from the iCloud account under "Internet Accounts."

The additional storage would show up when iCloud is signed into the that new account.
To me it sounds like you should cancel the iCloud storage sinceyou seem not to rally need it.

Are they showing on icloud.com? If not, check to be sure you are adding the contacts to the iCloud account and not a non-iCloud account, such as On My iPhone, Gmail, Yahoo or an exchange account.

The same reason why you can't use it under iOS5. It's exclusive to devices since the iPhone 4S.

The photo stream flower icon is not showing up on my icloud account. The only icons are Mail, contacts, calendar and iwrok. What can I do??

Basically Apple actually took away the Gallery capability we used to have with me.com when they replaced it with Photo Stream. So there is no way to see on the web, nor send a URL to friends to share the pictures like you used to be able to do with Gallery. To do that, you will need to push those photos to an external service such as Snapfish or Flickr or a social media site.

i don't want to be that guy on the fourms adding to a 2-year-old topic, but you might want to try updating iTunes. The current version is 11, and that might help with getting the computer to recognize it.
Also, have you tried unlocking your phone before plugging it in? That would resolve most mount/unmount errors.
