That is not normal. Very few apps are actually running in the background. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you reset the phone by simultaneously pressing the Home and power buttons until the apple appears? Restored from back up? Restored as new?

I can not get apple mobile device to activate. When reinstalling itunes it still comes up with, Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient services. I have followed all fixes and can not resolve this problem?
