Why in the world is an embedded social networking plugin included in firefox without user consent? Looks like the end of Mozilla!!

Seems like such a clear violation of everything firefox has stood for up to this point. Selling out and embedding spyware like everyone else?? The internet is about to completely die huh?
How do I disable completely this unrequested feature that was stealthily inserted into firefox between the last time I ran the browser?
Uninstall is legitimate, but I'd prefer another option first.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

I downloaded firefox 5 but it looks like the old one - the blue line on top

i was using chrome 'cause i liked the artwork - the way it looked - silly but true - as it kept crashing i switched to firefox a couple of hours ago - i watched the video and read the info and everything and i was happy to see firefox has changed its looks - but no matter what theme or persona i've tried i still get the blue line on top like the old one - looks nothing like the pics you use in the personalize section... please help because i really dislike this look

The orange Firefox button shows by default only in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
You can turn the Firefox button on in XP:
*Menu Bar checked = Menu Bar on, Firefox button off
*Menu Bar un-checked = Menu Bar off, Firefox button on
*Turn Menu Bar on/off, click Menu Bar to check/un-check by doing one of the following:
**using the Menu Bar: View > Toolbars
**using Firefox button: Firefox button > Options > Toolbar Layout
**right-click an empty space (at the end of the tab bar)
**this toggles (automatically checks/un-checks) Menu Bar: HOLD down the ALT key while pressing the keyboard letters VTM

I have XP and my firefox 4 doesn't look like the new one, it still looks like the 4 beta i downloaded, any help?

i had the beta for firefox 4 downloaded on my windows xp computer. then when the official 4 came out i down loaded it. But it doesnt look like the website says it should, there is no awesome bar, no firefox menu button and the tabs are still at the bottom. it basically still looks like the firefox 4 beta that i already had.

The final version might have picked up your existing profile preferences...
To restore your location bar, right-click after the menu bar and choose Navigation Toolbar from the pop-up.
Use the same pop-up to change the position of tabs (check Tabs on Top) and finally to remove the menu bar. When the menu bar is turned off, you will get the orange Firefox button.

"Vaguely like" is the best we can hope for and a minor miracle in itself. PDF was never meant to be converted.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options. 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily. 
You can place the Tab Bar on top.
* View > Toolbars : [ ] Menu Bar
* View > Toolbars : [X] Tabs on Top

Why does new 5s screen look like the old 4?

We just bought and backed up two new 5s replacing iphone 4. Why does one new 5s screen look like the old 4 iphone. One phone shows new version, one is still old. I have downloaded and backed up twice, same thing happens. Used icloud to backup.

I blocked quite a few different phone numbers awhile ago but when I looked at the blocked numbers today it looks like the same number has been blocked multiple times. Does anyone know why that is?

So for example if I blocked phone numbers 555-555-5555, 555-555-5556, and 555-555-5557 on different days it looks like only 555-555-5555 has been blocked 3 different times and I no longer see phone numbers 555-555-5556 or 555-555-5557. Oh dear, one of those phantom disconnections. You know they are actually so common BT have a specialist department that deals with them. I think they are called Priority Back in Service, there is no actual phone number you can ring them on, you have to call 150 as normal and the customer service team are supposed to raise the issue with them to sort out.
You could contact that Mods but they sometimes take 3 days to reply, especially with it being the weekend.

I just downloaded the new 4.0 an now when I click on the tab it won't even load up, it'll look like the page will show up but then it won't an the it'll look like I never even clicked on it. What is going on? Why won't firefox work?

My firefox was working perfectly before when I had the 3.6 but now it just won't load up at ALL! I recently updated firefox, but when I look on the PRIVACY window, where 
websites store cookies, I am no longer able to see any cookies that 
are being stored, and I am not able to delete the cookies as soon as I leave 
their site, as I had been doing for a long time prior to updating. 
So I am wondering where the heck are the cookies being stored now, with the 
new update? I like to be able to delete their cookies immediately, and 
I also wonder why firefox does not make it much easier for us to see 
all the cookies and delete them with one click, instead of having to 
use the <<TOOLS<<OPTIONS<<PRIVACY way of looking at and deleting cookies. 
The option to delete the cookies when firefox closes is not as efficient 
and I will get tracked until I close firefox, and I prefer to not be tracked 
so I like to just delete their cookies as soon as I am no longer using their

My Firefox does not look like the Firefox shown in your tutorials

Going through the tutorials and help sections, the Firefox page shown does not match the one that I have. There is no Firefox button, the menu below the Mozilla logo is the "File Edit View...." menu. So the directions I am getting from the tutorials and Help sections can't be followed.
I just downloaded Firefox, installed it, and checked for updates, which Firefox found and installed. I am now at 19.0.2

Looks Like the iPad 3G Wait is Over

Looks like the very last day of the month for iPad 3G orders.......why not just say Last Day of the Month instead of Late April. It's all about the hype I suppose. Well now at least we all know.
My order status still says "Ships: Late April".

Because it has to ship +late April+ for you to get it on April 30th.
Of course, this won't stop a whole bunch of people who were previously complaining about there being no known date from now complaining that they don't like the date they've now been given!

ITunes 11.1.5 looks like the old iTunes!
