Why in Windows 7 do I have problems opening an old template

I created a template and then created webpages from that template in Dreamweaver 8 on win xp. We updated to CS4 and the webpages made using the template and the template still opened in CS4 when using winxp. However, if we try to open the same pages from cs4 in win 7 it freezes the program. (I can open up any other pages in the same site defintion that do not use the template and they open fine.) Let me know if I need to give any other information to help with this.

Yeah, I don't think we will ever see a built-in BluRay drive in an iMac but now with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt, who needs an internal anything?
I have a 24 inch, early 2009 iMac I may soon replace probably with a Macbook Pro due to a FW800 bottleneck between the iMac and an working data drive.
The 2009 iMac cannot be retrofitted with Thunderbolt and USB 3.0, which is unfortunate because the iMac itself is still a fully functioning unit with a nice big screen.
Most of the photos, movies and music files are stored on the external drive so I see no alternative but to upgrade to a new machine with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt.
What to do with the 2009 iMac? Hook it up as an external monitor? Seem a waste of a still functioning computer.
My shopping list:
- Macbook Pro;
- Drobo, Synergy or Pegasus with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt;
- One Thunderbolt cable.

Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If restoring using a backup doesn't help, try restoring the iPhone to factory settings and try for a while with just the Apple-included apps, to make sure it's not an issue with a third-party app. If it still has problems, it may have a hardware problem and will need to be sent to Apple.

I'm using OS 10.6.8 and Mail 4.5. When I receive mails with attachments which are visible the save button doesn't work. Some contacts have problems opening files sent by me using Mail too. This was never a problem on pre-Intel. A real Mac **** up !

Can you drag and drop the attachments visible in the email to the Desktop OK or does that fail ?
Re the sending: Are these recipients on Mac's or PC's as the file type could be an issue, if on Mac's then try setting the Mail Preferences Composing setting to Plain Text not Rich Text and see if that improves things.

Why my iPhone 5s's wifi have problem with wifi on iOS 8.0.2?

MMy iPhone 5s and also my iPhone 6 plus and iPad 3, all have the latest update(8.0.2) but all of me have problem with wifi and gilt hung all the time! Wifi most of the time is not working and we have to use laptop or using phone data, obviously I don't want to use my data in home so , I want this problem solve as soon as possible. My iPad is glitching all the time, my iPhone's most the time.
aand please don't tell me it's my wifi modem because I know it's not, I have been tested my modem with all other devices!

Ok. Have you tried restarting your phone? Hold sleep wake button until slide to power off appears - slide to power off. Turn it back on and retest.
-Next is Settings, general, reset, reset network settings - retest.
-Next is back up phone to iTunes, and restore to factory settings - set up as new, retest.

Problem opening a web template!

Hi Experts
When I open a Web Templates, it says that it has a HTML Fragments & cannot be edited in WAD as it is not designed in such a way to edit only in HTML editor???
Any ideas are highly appreaciated.

wanted to ask you one more thing..
Are you trying to open some CRM templates?because some of them do not open in WAD.
You can only view the template "HTML" (code) view with WAD for the problem you described. This can be done using RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN or WAD.
You cannot view the template using WAD to get the "Layout" graphical view.
The only way to get around this is to strip out the HTML "fragments" from the HTML code, or to partition the templates into sub-templates.

Why can version 3.16.6 have problems displaying more than nine posts in a forum thread when IE7 does so with ease?

In a forum that I have been using for the last several years, I posted a problem. When I tried to reply to post #9 in that thread, my post would not appear. I tried again and still my post did not appear.
I then opened IE7, navigated to that forum and thread. IE7 displayed all 13 posts.

The slowness may be caused by background processing after the library update. Are you shooting RAW?
Also, where is your iPhoto library stored? In your Pictures folder or on an external drive?

You may need to repair your iPhoto Library.

Because you had the printer connected to Windows, the print queue on your Mac was for this connection. With you moving the printer away from the Windows computer, the print queue on the Mac will no longer work and will show offline. So for the new connection of the printer you have to create a new print queue.
Now the question is; how is the printer connected to the Mac. If it is connected by USB to the Mac then it should appear in the Default Add Printer view. If it is connected to the Mac via some other method, then could you reply with how it is connected.
If it is connected to the Mac by USB then the most likely cause for the printer not appearing in the Default Add Printer view is thenUSB printer cable. So try disconnecting it and reconnecting it or even try another USB printer cable.

Why do third-party keyboard apps have problems in Mozilla Browser for Android?

I have a third-party app that I use as a keyboard: SwiftKey X. whenever I select this keyboard as my default and start typing, be it in text-fields on site itself or the adressbar, it never seems to get the text right. For example; it deletes words without me wanting to. Words get duplicated when trying to start new word. Suggestions get automatically inserted without being selected. But when I take the systems' default keyboard (Swype, I own a GT-N7000) than there's no problem. Does anyone know what could be going on?

Why do Lion's Parental Controls have problems?

When I try to open a restricted application on my iMac, it says you aren't allowed to open it, but it keeps on bouncing. Can someone tell me why?

Have you checked your account in System Preferences > Users And Groups and checked that the Parental Controls box isn't ticked for your account?

Why does apple ipad and iphone have problems with comcast?

We attempt to send pictures through our comcast wifi account and gets to about 90%and freezes. Have reset modem, and router, have turned off phone and reset it. Have switched to 4G then pictures will send. Only has problem when connected to wifi. As my ipad is wifi, I cannot send pictures at all with it.
Did not have this problem until iOS 6 update.
Any suggestions?

My iPad and other devices have no problems with Comcast, but I didn't get my WiFi router from them. If you did, your router may need a firmware update, or you may need to get a different model of router.

Snow leopard using documents from a windows server, I will have problems if I update to lion

I am working with my Macbook with Snow Leopard and I use files from windows server 2008 and also the accountance program reside on it, we always acceed by smb. I have not updated my Mac OX to Lion because I am frightened about lost my conection to this computers. Could I update or it is better to remain into Snow Leopard.

Consider first if you are ready for Lion by reading this tip. It is doubtful that not being ready for Lion will mean you'll be ready for Mountain Lion.
