I used to be a fan of Iphone, I had the 3g up to the 4g, which was fantastic before, was quite faster than the iphone 4, since I upgrad to ISO7 and the phone getting very solwer in everything, it take longer to load up and to performe any task in general....I think that this has been done by intention to push people to buy the new iphones..which means that if you are unable to purchase the new iphone then remain frustrating the rest of your life... and if this is the way apple think in order for them to sell their new iphones, then I think they pushing their customers to look out for alternatives like Samsung and other touch screens phones. I think its time to move to better devises and a better company which respects their customer, they don't have to trick them in a useless software just to **** them off enough so that they must buy the new FASTER iphones, what a cheap trick.....so am I SUPPOSE to buy a new iphone every single year in order to have a quite quick responsive phone? ridiculous.... I think if apple don't respect their customer, then I think it is enough with the Iphone and it is time to try something new...and I'm going to spread the word so that people will now about apple cheap tricks, so they can save their money and put it in the right device instead.

I'm on the Apple wesbite right now, as are you. And no, I don't work for Apple. As I stated, Apple doesn't monitor these forums for feedback, and unless someone has 'Community Specialist' next to their name, they don't work for Apple.
You have your own experience. And some other users have had similar experiences. However, out of the tens of millions of iPhone 4 & 4S units running iOS 7, only a very few report issues. It works out to about 1 out of 10,000 or so. But, those that have issues (or perceived issues) represent a very small fraction.
If you truly believe Apple is intentionally 'breaking' devices in order to push new sales, then consult a lawyer. But I still have great performance from my original iPhone, my 3GS and my 4. I've personally got four iPhones from the past six years with no issues.
If Apple was trying to force people to buy newer iPhones, then they've failed miserably. There are a lot of threads on this forum from people using iPhone 3G & 3GS. Why haven't they been 'forced' to buy newer iPhones?
Plus, you do realize that Apple makes more money from App Store sales than from iPhone sales, right?

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

IPhone 4 very slow and not very responsive

Hello - ever since updating to ios5 my phone has been significantly slower. I close my open apps regularly and don't have a crazy amount (about 6 pages worth) but the phone is just very slow. For example, if I get a text message and go to open it, and then try to click in the text box to start typing, nothing happens. It takes a good 6-8 seconds before the phone even recognizes me touching the text bar which is incredibly annoying. The camera is often slow too, having a shutter lag of 10 seconds sometimes. I would wipe my phone and do a restore, but I think that will just restore all of my backed up data which will probably not work, and I really would not want to start from scratch and lose all of my 4 years of text message history, etc. Any ideas?

Very few apps run in the background since there is no reason or benefit for nearly all apps to do so. The overhwelming majority of apps are quit or suspended with leaving the app. An app being available in the recently used apps bar or dock does not mean the app is running in the background, and removing apps not running in the background from the recently used apps bar or dock doesn't accomplish much if anything.
How often do you power your iPhone off and on?
Try a reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
If no change after this, try restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup to see if this makes any difference. If not, you can restore again from the existing backup.

Why EP is very slow just after it is started?

Our env is like the following.
EP 7.0(NW 2004s).
But i think this also applies to NW 2004.
Just after EP is started, when the first user logs on, EP is very very slow
(takes long time while logging on and navigating) and its server CPU goes 100%
for a while. Why?
This phenomena is very similar to the situation that usual JSP web pages are
slow at first because it has to be compiled. Does EP have the same reason?
1. Could someone teach me what would be the possible reason?
2. Is there any way to avoid this phenomena? Like precompiling or something
like that.

To add to answers above - When a user logs in , in addition to login time and services/components are loaded into memory, also first time navigation takes time. This is to load the entry points (in TLN and first level DTN). These entry points are loaded into navigation cache (if not there yet). if indeed it takes too much time to load these navigation entries and its a problem , you can consider using the navigation cache preloader:

Iphone 5 very slow, how do I remove music? Im using the icloud and itunes match.

The phone locks up and restarts on its own now. Hard to navigate with it because its very slow.

There are a few different reasons this could be happening, and it sounds like you're on the right track to isolating the issue. However, it would be very helpful to go one step further and Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support. This will completely wipe everything off the phone (including the iOS software itself) and install a fresh, clean copy of iOS, just in case there is a corrupt file in there giving you the trouble. After reinstalling iOS, set the phone up as a new iPhone temporarily to test the issue and see if it is still happening. If so, there may be a hardware issue with the device. Hopefully that isn't the case -- if the phone runs smoothly when set up as new then it means there was a corrupt file in the operating system or that there is something in your backup (possibly a third-party app) causing the issue. After testing the iPhone set up as new, go ahead and restore the phone from your backup and see if the issue comes back. If so, you may want to contact Apple Support to see if their diagnostic test helps narrow down which apps are contributing to the issue.

I just installed additional ram and the other day aperture was running extremely slow. The only other application was iphoto.

Nothing in my experience would make me draw the same conclusion (that the reporting of your Aperture Library as "Other" is why Aperture is running slowly). You report that your Library is on an external drive connected via USB. Is this USB 2 or USB 3?
The consensus is to put your Library on your fastest (lowest latency and highest throughput) drive. This is almost always your system drive. If your Library does not fit on your system drive, you are advised to move some or all of your Images' Master from the Library to a second drive using "File→Relocate Masters". If you want help with these set-ups, post back.

I guess it of no use...It is with subscription....batteries issues will not be entertain....Lots of reasons. Company will not entertain batteries issues unless is really serious.
Anyway, I will continue to use it with bare Apps...I will not buy any apps, no movies, musics...cause it would last me a day. I will definitely not buy any Apps.
the last verison 6.02 was definitely better at battery management...this version is really bad. Do not know why some users said 6.10 improved the battery....but mind did not.
Forget about buying Apple products again...this is mind first time using a smartphone (as a gift too)...and how disappointed I am. Truely, if company wants users to use their products, they should give decent batteries...the IP5 has the same battery as the 4S and 4S last at least 2 days.

Homeshare to Ipad and Iphone is very slow to load library

First time poster, long time listener... I'm totally pro mac, from which I made the switch about 2 years ago from android and windows to everything mac and iPad/ iphone etc... One problem that I have been having is when on any of my IOS devices (2 iPhones, 1 iPad 2, and 1 iPad mini) I can't seem to load my videos or music (in apple's music or video app) when "shared" from my Mac Pro. So when am in my Video app, then Shared to my Mac Pro (Pro) I can see my library just fine, but when I click on it I get a spinning wheel - spinning and spinning and spinning, well it goes on for ever and sometimes, very rarely, it will load after 10 to 15 minutes. Long story short, mac pro wired to link sys wireless router (acting as just a hub / wireless extended network) then wired to my apple extreme 3tb router. All have been set to default router is 10.0.1.1 (apple extreme router).....
The strangest thing, is remote app and airplay from and IOS device works to every apple tv I have (4 - bedroom, tv room, billiard room, and bar room apple tvs). Apple tv all see the mac pro, and the mac pro's all see the apple tv inside iTunes. (airplay works out standing!)
When I use any IOS device (any) and homeshare to my mac book pro, which doesn't have any videos or music, it loads right away but there is nothing to load.
p.s. my mac pro library of iTunes has over 20000 songs and over 100 home video and over 100 videos from a ripped dvd collections....
Need help please asap... Almost ready to give up but i have faith.....
So how and why doesn't my videos or music load properly through homeshareing on any iOS device but everything else works flawlessly.....

I upgraded to ios7 and now the keys on my iphone are very slow, each letter takes 5 seconds to appear on screen.

I cannot type properly in applications because each key jams and takes a long time to load on the screen. It is very frustrating!

Um, most intelligent people would stop whining and read then follow the troubleshooting steps in the thread to which they replied.
Of course, there's always basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide which is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is fixed.

Why is Illustrator very slow and locks up when I select an image?

When selecting an image with the links panel open Illustrator locks up for a good 20 seconds... When I close the links panel everything is fine.
This is very annoying since I use the links panel all the time in my daily work routine.

Ok a little strange, as mine is now running well after the updates from a few days ago.
Apologies if this is a false positive, but I can now have the LINKS panel open while highlighting on a linked PSD. I will run a few more tests to see if the error appears in any other ways.
I completely agree that Illustrator CC in particular does suffer from lagging across the board. I have never seen CC or CC2014 running as smoothly as say CS6.
I use Universal Type Server and the lagging caused by this (especially when backspacing text) has caused me no end of problems, but they slowly release updates and the problems slowly get ironed out.
Also I know this has been said before, but I had issues with the Verdana and Tahoma fonts and this slowed Illustrator (esp CC 2014) down also. I had the fonts installed but they were causing issues.
I searched over the web and at my work for alternative versions of these fonts and collected (what we think to be) a reliable pack of these two fonts that we can now use on machines in case they have similar lagging issues. So try getting hold of alternative copies of Verdana and Tahoma...fonts can corrupt very easily!
