Why is a cd in the itunes store a different price on my computer than the itunes store on my phone? Is there a difference?
One says i can complete my album for $5.70 and the other says $7.41. Is there a difference? Do you get/don't get something depending on where you purchase it? I realize it's only a couple dollars, just wondering why the difference if there is a reason?

i had a problem sending an itunes gift, it charged ,my credit card rather than my itunes account, it need it reversed on the cc and debited on the itunes.
Gifts will be charged to your credit card - you can't use your acocunt's balance for gifting, you can only use your credit card.

I have two first Gen Apple TV's and a new MAC Book Pro. I have about 600GB of music and 40GB of photos located on an external hard drive (Western Digital). In the past, I have not run into any issues when syncing music or photos. Recently, I get an error message "iTunes cannot sync to the AppleTV because of a problem you your computer. The required file cannot be found." I noticed this after I added a few folders to my photo folder, which the AppleTV is pointed to for accessing and syncing my photos. I went to the AppleTV to look to see if the new folders were in the photos, but they were not listed and obviously not syncing from the hard drive to the AppleTV.
For trouble shooting, I disconnected my upstairs AppleTV from iTunes, then reconnected, pointed the AppleTV to the applicable music and phots folders on my external hard drive. The music synced fine, but the photos did not sync. I got the same error message.
Does anyone have any advice to what the issue may be??
I read some posts similar to mine and the referenced deleting the iPhoto file cache. I did not try this as I do not use iPhoto as the source for my photos syncing to my AppleTV's.
Thanks - Scott1508Looks like my WD Hard Drive may have an issue. I pointed the Apple TV to the photos folder on my other WD Hard Drive, which is formatted for MAC and it synced the photos fine. I had never had an issue with the first WD Hard Drive, but it was never formatted for MAC.
Not sure if this could be the issue???
I am considering getting an Apple Time Capsule (2 TB) for my back up, but also need a second back up for all my music and photos.
Does anyone have advice on moving to the Time Capsule as my main back up and keeping a WD as the secondary back up?? -
when trynig to get new music from itunes a message pops up on my computer saying the disk cannot be found. I dont know what this is, now i cannot not only get the new music i just purchased i seem to have lost all of my other music i already has as well. Thanks for all of your help. Took the old girl in to a techie at London Drugs and my HD had failed, simple mechanical failure after 5 years of useful service. They mentioned that it was a pretty massive failure as they were unable to extract ANY information whatsoever. For those of you wondering what the warning signs were: slowing down of all processes, especially opening applications; freezing up when running an internet applcation and browsing at the same time; occasional starting up with a flashing folder with the dreaded ? (which would restart the first few times once I disconnected all peripherals, including the keyboard); finally full failure with only a white screen showing upon start up.
I am getting a new HD, will reinstall from Time Machine and there will be peace in the valley. -
I want transfer photos from Iphone to laptop. The windows doensn't recognize de iphone im "computer" but the itunes does. How could I transfer the photos from IPhone?
It should appear as a camera/scanner device in My Computer, or you can associate a phot app on the computer with it. If it doesn't appear there is probably a corrupt image in the Camera Roll or the Camera Roll is empty. You cannot transfer photos from the Photo app (transfer is one way only, computer to iPhone), only from the Camera Roll.

If you have more music on the computer than nano can store, how does it choose what goes on the iPod? LIke, a normal synching just dumps everything, what happens when the iPod can't hold everything?

Your computer will pop up with a message that it failed to update any song to the Nano. You must creat a new playlist and copy the songs there, and make sure the size is not larger than Nano can hold -

I created a PDF from a Word document that used Cambria font, and when I select it in Acrobat to try to change the font I get "The change to a different font was not done because the chosen font and the font encodings in the document differ and could not be resolved"
How can I change the font and why is it preventing me from doing so?

No, Acrobat is not a word processor.
More to the point Acrobat lets one "work" PDF and PDF is not a file format designed as a word processing, editing, formating, or page layout file format.
PDF is, essentially, a "final destination" format.
What it is is described in the ISO Standard for PDF (ISO 32000-1).

Having SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 I attempted to do a pretty simple task.
Create a capture media for Windows 8 64 Bit and capture the OS.
The system in question is a Dell Latitude 6430u and OEM Windows 8.
The system ran as expected, the capture went as expected, but when I deploy the image (Back to the same laptop mind you)
The following occurs:
Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation.
Things that I've tried:
Set the SATA to various modes as it was on RAID on as speculated in some posts
Saw a posting that suggests pressing SHIFT F-10 to get in to some prompt and run oobe; doesn't work here, I think.
Added Dell Driver Packs for the system
As for log files, I'll check C:\Windows\Panther and see what's there.
Any ideas on how to correct this? Is there a way to go in to the image itself to do so?Sorry, I'm not using CM2007, but CM 2012 SP1, CU3.
I went through the smsts log and found several instances where drivers were missing so I'm guessing that's why it pitched a wobbly about not being a suitable system for the Windows setup.

Which doesn't make sense since the image that I am trying to put on the system is the one I took it from. Before putting the image out I went to Dell's web site and got the Windows 8 drivers for the system and distributed them as I usually do.
I got the drivers from here -

What I don't get is that I can take the Windows 8 install.wim and do an OSD task with it and there is no issue with drivers.

Need help, I want to download all the music I purchased through my iphone and computer from the first date i had iphone to date, and keep it in both my computer and iphone.
You cannot synch the other way, with the exception of songs purchased on iTunes.
What you need to do is move the iTunes library from the computer to which you've been synching your phone and put it on your new MacBook. -

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person -

I have replaced my ibook hard drive but when I start up I get a folder with a flashing question mark. I have tried installing the OSX disk using the "C" key but can't get any further than the flashing "?." What do I do? What is the problem?

Which version of the OS is installed, and which version are you trying to install?
You could try starting up with Startup Manager and see if it will allow you to select the OS X install disc as the startup disk. If so, maybe you can proceed from there. I would recommend repairing the hard drive first since you are evidently having a bit of a problem with it. -
My airport utility no longer works, but I have just changed my router. Is there something I need to do ? The orange light shows up on my airport, rather than the green one it should have. Please help !!!

If you just replaced the router with an Airport Extreme or Express:
disconnect the modem from power, disconnect the new router from power, connect the modem to power and wait till it os fully started up, then connect the new router to power. After a while the amber light will turn to flashing, then after a while it will turn to green. Then with AirportUtility (in Aplications/Utilities) it should be configured with the password.
