Why is Apple Europe (the netherlands) so rude and ********?
So I have this Nano first gen.. These things have a defect and so Apple announced to get you a new Nano if you would send your old one back. Now I was under the impression that when they said they would send me a box for retreiving their product, that they would send a box to retrieve their product. So that was like five and a half months ago.
When I called their helpdesk, I had to wait eight minutes (their rate was 10 eurocents a minute) before my call was picked up by a helpdesk employee. The guy didn't know that I could hear him talking and when he did, he disconnected the line. When I called back the line was closed saying the opening hours where passed.
Does anyone else had a sh*tty experience while seeking contact with the helpdesk?

I appear to be one of thousands who are all expressing their outrage in a rational and intelligent manner which cannot be said for your lebvel 4 + collegues on this forum.
Finally there has been an ongoing issue wiith the iPad 3 Wifi on certain wifi only models , I have not encountered it and it seems clear neither have you. That of course does not discount the fact that many others have experienced this issue , an issue which may reveal itself to you or I in the future particularly as I have only been using mine for a fortnight.

Every mac operating system software until Lion had the ability to use up/down arrows in the scroll bar. This makes it easy to move up and down in small increments. In Lion, it is impossible to move up and down in small increments. Click on the scroll bar and it moves up or down an entire page. When you try to put the curser on the scrollbar and move it up just a little, it moves a whole bunch. With the up/down arrows, you can click on the arrow and it will scroll ulp or down one line a time. There is no way to do this in Lion. Why would apple remove the very useful feature of up and down arrows.

Having all those problems said with 3g/s running on iOS 4.X why wont they let us just downgrade back to 3.1.3 officially until they find a way on how to solve issues with 3g/s?
About the downgrade method of life hacker, if you're really not good in those things you might actually ruin your pc like my friend who tried it, she lost her wifi on her notebook, i had to help her find the installer of the driver again. this happened after she tried to install that libusb that is needed to run the application for exit recovery mode and other stuff.
Yes iOS 4.1 is out but contacts disappearing? And who knows what more problems it brings. I was even peeking around the iphone 4 forums it seems that they are not doing well either.
Anyway mine is all fine except that im afraid to use wifi or any apps that needs internet connection because everytime i do, my 3gs gets very very hot. I have already done the basic solution suggested by apple (factory reset, start from new iphone) but its still the same.
And another thing, the multitasking is getting annoying, you have to manually close all apps in the 'multitasking background' everytime you decide to quit an app. I guess they should put a 'Disable multitasking' or something like that.Firenzo wrote:

Because it works beautifully in the 3GS, with better battery life, faster operation and some great new features.

If you are having problems it is NOT from 4.0; there is something else wrong with your phone. There are plenty of troubleshooting tips in the forum if you look.

NO YOU DO NOT. Those apps in the ribbon are not multitasking, they are suspended. You can ignore them and they won't hurt battery life or memory, unless they are streaming apps like Pandora.
It's amazing. For 3 years people screamed about the fact that the iPhone didn't support multitasking. Now they scream because the phone DOES multitasking. You can't win. -

Why did Apple omit the Panorama feature in Camera on the Ipad, when they did the IOS 6 Update? They included this feature on the iPod touch (5th gen) so why not on the iPad?
I was on vacation in a national park and saw people using their iPads as a video camera...one of them standing in the middle of a 'river' (read really large stream) at the time.
I'm going to also go with the supposition of it being a different camera and probably different video handling processor. The iPhone is quite far ahead of the iPad camera wise, so probably has better protocols in place to handle images, especially something as complex as the 'live photo stitch' of the panorama.
many existing cameras take what the panorama was, a 'photo stitch' where mulitple side by side photos are stitched together into one large panorama. This just appears to do it 'live' instead of individual shots that need to be processed on a comptuer to make the panorama. -

Re: Have today loaded the 3.3 up date on Aperture. After the up date the colour of the Menu Bar and all icons showing projects / albums etc are now grey. Any thoughts on how to reestablish the colours.

It usually means you're connected to a 3G network and the cell provider won't allow a download that big over the network. Try to download it when you are connected to a WiFi network.

As I said in my above reply we are fellow users, we won't know why your account is disabled.
You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

Why is apple showing p0rnography on itunes store and ibooks even if we have explicit content blocked?! I am very unhappy about this. Especially being that it is plastered on the front page of itunes music store right now. (I am referencing S#X playlist by Omarion).

In CC214 PS Why has adobe removed the "print Size Button" And why have they made the Brush preview window so small you can't see the effects to accurately adjust them?
These two things need to be remedied in their upgrades because It's become such a bother I've had to revert to older versions of PS.Yea, and it's a pain to get to. What was the rational for removing the print size button? With the magnifying glass tool selected in older versions of Photoshop you would get a button that says "print size" right next to Actual pixels, Fit Screen, Fill Screen. Now I have to go out of my way and dig for it if I want to see the print size. Of all the buttons you could have taken away, why not fill screen? I never use that.
Besides the point I just downloaded the Oct Upgrade for PS and surprise! Nothing has changed and these are two big black eyes on newer versions of Photoshop. The Brush preview window is unchanged in CC but in CC2014 it's basically worthless. If you apply a texture to a brush you can't properly see the scale of the texture, the spacing, scatter, etc... -

I'm uploading a photobook I made to be published. I need assistance in getting it to apple. The book is assembled and gets to the end of uploading when I get an error message, an error occurred while uploading. I have been trying all night. Help!
Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.
