Why is AssistiveTouch not in the ask menu for triple-click home?

I am very new to apple, never been a big fan but I could not rap my head around the droid OS. So in my sweep through the settings menu to get acquainted with the settings I discovered the triple-Click home options, and after messing with them I found that I had a use for all the settings so my natural instinct is to just try the ask setting. And to my dismay I find that AssistiveTouch is not a selection, so here I find myself asking this question... Is there some kind of issuse with having that there? Or what? So any response would be appreciated.

If it is a major road block try the "Toggle AssistiveTouch". Not sure why it wouldn't be there though.

Similarily, the iPad 2 did not get Siri and some other features in iOS 6.

Why do I not get the checkout option for a pdf type document when clicking on the document link in the SharePoint workflow task?

We are trying to use workflows to review and edit pdf files in sharepoint 2010. We are having a couple of issues and am hoping someone has the answer.....
1) When myself and coworkers click on the pdf document in the library, we get the check out option as expected. However when we click on the document
link in a workflow task (on the sharepoint site), the pdf opens as a temporary file and we do not get the check out option. Why does this happen?????
2) The same thing happens when we click on the document link in the workflow task email; HOWEVER, one of our co-workers does get the
check out option when clicking on the link in the email task. Why would she get the checkout option using the email and not when clicking on the link in the task list on the sharepoint site ???? We have compared our internet settings and adobe
settings to ours and found no differences.
We are using Sharepoint 2010, Windows 7, IE8, Adobe Reader X or XI. Some of us have Adobe Pro X and have the same issues.

According to your post, my understanding is that you could not get the checkout option for a pdf type document when clicking on the document link in the SharePoint workflow task.
I try to reproduce the issue, however, no matter when I click the pdf type document in the library or click on the pdf document link in the workflow task email, it download the pdf doucment and then I can open it.
It will be better if you can descript how you
get the check out option as expected when you click on the pdf document in the library.
Then I upload a
word type document to the library, no matter when I click the word type document in the library or click on the word document link in the workflow task email, I can open the word document directly and get the check out option as expected.
I recommend to use the other type docuemts to check whether the check out option works.

Why can I not get the Web Icon for some of my saved Bookmarks

Many of my saved Bookmarks have their correct Web Icons.
However many fail to save their Web Icon leaving the Icon blank.
The Web Sites in question do have specific Web Icons.
I have tried deleting the Bookmarks in question and saving them again without success.
Why can I not get these icons to be saved in the Bookmarks?

No problem here with that TalkTalk website, the favicon image saves immediately when I save it as a bookmark. It uses a conventional favicon.ico image in the root directory

With Barcalays iBank I can't figure out where the website image in the Location bar is being loaded from.
With Barclaycard, the favicon saves with the new bookmark, even though that image is in a non-standard location.

Why am I NOT receiving the reset emails for my security questions?

I've forgotten the answers to my apple id security questions, and am now unable to puchase any new music or apps because my settings require two step verification.
Over the span of several months I have requested multiple emails to allow me to reset my security questions and I NEVER recieve them.
Yes I have checked my :Spam, and Apple folder.
I requested resets for both my apple id password and login and recieved those emails without problem, but not once have I recieved the reset email for my security questions!
Can anybody help me with this, or do I really have to call and or go down to an apple store to sort this out?

They are going to your Rescue email address, which is not the same as your Apple ID address. It is whatever you set it to be when you set up the account. You can contact Apple's Account Security Team as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

Why am I not receiving the recovery email for my apple ID?

I could not remember my password for my Apple ID, so I used the iForgot feature and requested a recovery email to reset my password. I've done about 5 times and it keeps saying that the email was sent but I'm not getting any emails??
(And yes, I've checked all my email accounts, and the Spam folders as well--nothing from Apple regarding the password reset is there.)

I understand that your Apple ID needs to be reset, but you are not receiving the recovery email. Since the spam folder has been checked, I would recommend seeing the section labeled Get Help in the article below.
If these steps didn't help you change your password, contact Apple Support.

Why does FCP not use the quad Processors for rendering

Hi. I notice the other day when I renderd out a rather long project that FCP does not use all available processors. I notice on some effects that it uses the graphics card and non of the processors. It there a reason for this and is there a way to make better use of the quad core in rendering both audio and video files.

Good question. I've been asking around off forum looking for an answer too. Motion is a big one for me. I'd love to have it render out with all 4. But then again, it's not meant to be a render engine. Both FCP and Motion are now becoming more GPU intensive.
Now... COMPRESSOR uses all 4 at the same time.

Why do I not see the "More" option when I click on Music?

After turning on home sharing, when I go to access my library directions say to click on Music>More>Shared. When I click on Music there is no More option on the screen. If I go into the store the More option just shows different styles of music.

For Home Sharing to work on an iDevice (iPod, iPad, iPhone) you must be logged in to the same wifi using the same Apple ID. Home sharing must be enabled in iTunes on your computer and iTunes must remain open. On your iDevice > Settings > Music > Home Sharing > enter Apple ID and Password.

Tree generator is not in the fill menu for the latest update running windows 7?

There is no tree generator when pattern is chosen using the fill command. I checked the scripts box but it doesn't look like the tutorial. I am running windows 7 can anyone help?

What is the exact version of photoshop your using?
Look in photoshop under Help>System Info and the top line is the photoshop version.
Anyway, if you have the latest photoshop version cc 2014.2.1, look under Filer>Render>Tree

I am the organizer and i am not receiving the ask to buy requests. I removed my wife as a parent to see if that was the problem but she is still receiving the request and i am not. what do i do?

I also had problems with Ask to Buy when I first set-up family sharing . My issue was that the child devices they were being asked to put in the verification code of the credit card linked to the organiser's appleID before the request was sent. This made no sense - why would the child device need that?!
I checked that each device was set to the right account for icloud and itunes/app store, logged in and out etc but nothing seemed to work.
Eventually we tried simply entering the CCV on the child device and found that everything worked perfectly after this.
Hope this helps others with similar problem. Once set-up and working it is great.
