Why is consistency check warning [39054] raised?

Hi,
Today I migrated a 10g repository to 11g. After the upgrade I was checking the global consistency and the following warning is occuring several times
WARNINGS:
BUSINESS MODEL Declaraties:
[39054] Fact table "[fact table 1]" is not joined to logical dimension table "[dimension 1]". This will cause problems when extracting project(s).
The warning is correct, fact table 1 is not joined to dimension 1. But this is because there is no relationship between those two tables. Dimension 1 is not used by fact table 1. However, dimension table 1 is used by another fact in the same business area.
Why am I getting this warning, it seems to me that not every dimension should be joined with all fact tables in a business area. What is intended with 'This will cause problems when extracting project(s)'?
Regards,
Albert

Hi Albert,
I will suggest you to resolve all the warning its a best practice as u said having 500+ warnings is not good
Refer : Source does not join to any fact source
Thanks,

  • Org model - org unit consistency check warning.

    Hello,
I am not familiarize with org model. when i tried to create one org. strucuture, every thing went fine. But when i did an inconsistency check i got the warning message " 'IS_SA_ORG' hierarchy maintenance incorrect "
Can anybody help me get the incinsistency check corrected.
    Please help me out.

    Pramod,
This is a typical org model issue..
here is the solution. "Make changes to table T77OMATTUS,
field PRIOX value to be made 0 for fields - IS_SA_ORG, IS_SA_GRP, IS_SA_OFF"
Do let us know if your check still fails...

  • RME 4.3.1 device update failing 'WARNING : Cat3560(7.3):Consistency check failed for base package SharedNetshowIOS'

    Hi Guys,
I'm having some issues updating the device packages for my RME 4.3.1 install.
I've downloaded and tried to update the 'Cat3560.zip' package via the GUI, but the job fails with the above error.
I pulled up the PSU.log and found the following:

Before i started to bug TAC, I figured I'd post this here.
    Let me know your thoughts

Looks like your package repository has been corrupted.  TAC can provide a procedure  to recover from this corruption.  The following DOC indicates  why this can happen and has suggestions on how to avoid these problems  from re-occuring.

  • Windows Server 2012 - Backup failing with Exchange - The application will not be available for recovery from this backup. the consistency check failed

    Hi
We have a Windows 2012 server with Exchange 2013, all is working fine except now i am getting issues with the backup.
'Exchange - The application will not be available for recovery from this backup. the consistency check failed for the component Microsoft Exchange Server'
I have checked the database all is fine, i have created a new db and move all mailbox;s over and then removed the old db, i have enabled circular logging and then disabled it, it seems no matter what i do i cannot get a full backup!
i did have to restore the server once and the backups still worked for about 4 days after that and then stopped, i have also tried to remove and re add the backup role!
i am stumped, any advice would be great!

    Hi
Ok, i created a test db and tried to back it up right away, it failed, i did not add any mailbox's to it either. i got quite a few events in the windows logs, as well as the same event above i got the following:

  • Fileserver consistency checks failing 0x809909B0

I have a file server with approx. 1.7TB of files which became inconsistent on the 8th of November, and has been unable to complete a consistency check since then.
Consistency checks fail with the error:
The protection agent on <server> was temporarily unable to respond because it was in an unexpected state. (ID 60 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909B0)
I have removed and re-added the server, including deleting the protected data from DPM disk, and reinstalled the DPM agent on the file server, but I still receive the above error when consistency checking.
    DPM is System Center 2012 R2 v4.2.1254.0 on Windows Server 2012 R2.
The file server is running Windows Server 2012 R2 also.
KB2919355 is installed on both systems.
I did have Dedup running on the file server, but have un-deduped the drive as part of troubleshooting this issue.
Other servers backed up by this DPM server are being backed up fine, including a HyperV cluster, 2 exchange servers and 2 sharepoint farms.
There are a large number of these errors in the DPMRA log around the time the job fails:

I have also tried the steps in this article with no change:

Currently I have reduced the amount of shares being backed up to just ~400gb of data and I have it in a consistent state, but I need to get the remainder of the data backed up, and I can’t be in a situation where if it becomes inconsistent it can’t run a
    successful consistency check again.

Could you please suggest any solution

Your code looks wrong. You don't use CREATE with an exception class inside the CATCH.  It should look something like this:
DATA fault TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault .
    TRY...
    CATCH cx_ai_system_fault INTO fault.
      WRITE :/ fault->errortext.
    ENDTRY.

  • Get-DPMJob doesn't show On-going Consistency Check

When I use the $jobs=get-dpmJob -dpmservername DPM10 powershell command, the Consistency Check job type that shows a status of "in progress" in the DPM 2012 SP1 Admin Console does not show up in the
    $jobs list variable under PowerShell.
However, on another DPM server, which is a primary server shows the "in progress" jobs under the job category of "validation" in PowerShell.
Why doesn't the command show the "in progress" jobs for my first case in PowerShell?

    try this on
    Get-DPMJob -DPMServerName dpm01 -Status Scheduled

  • Routing Consistency Check in batch ?

    Hey folks!
A business requirement has been raised to perform a consistency check for all Routing Task Lists for a specific plant.  I'm aware of the consistency check within the Routing that can be performed online.  Anyone know of a batch/background job that can validate routings and report errors?
The business case is as follows:  Reference Operation Sets are utilized within Routing Task Lists.  If a change is made to the Reference Operation Set (say add additional operations) and these additional operations conflict in the routing this ROS is utilized, this will cause a routing error.  Yet there is no way to identify this error until someone checks the routing or writes a production order against.
Any help on the above would be great.  Points are waiting to be awarded!

    Nathan,
I do not think there is a background program that can run to check for such inconsistency.
However when MRP runs system will detect routing inconsistency & will display exception message against planned order.
So nett result is MRP controller will know about this much before he converts planned order to production order.
They can look for exception messages either under Tcode: MD04/ MD05 or collectively under MD06/MD07 group by exception message.
Message 62 - Scheduling: Master data inconsistent is one such message & it falls under Exception group 4 in standard SAP.
So if MRP controller checks Tcode : MD06 & limits selection criteria by exception group 4 messages he can nail down all such errors in advance.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • Why didn't Firefox warn me that it would disable an incompatible add-on prior to silently updating itself?

I just restarted Firefox and a window popped up saying that it had upgraded itself and that it was checking for compatibility with my add-ons. Unfortunately, one of them, which I rely on quite extensively, apparently is not compatible with FIrefox 22.0.
So now I'm stuck. While I'm hopeful that this will resolve itself, I decided to make sure that it won't happen again. I checked my preferences and found that Firefox was set to automatically install updates and to warn me if this would disable any of my add-ons.
So, here is my question: Why didn't it warn me that this would disable an add-on?
I am running (now) Firefox 22.0 on a Mac running 10.7.5.
    --wpd

I have no idea why you did not get a warning. It may be possible to enable the add-on. Click add-ons then extensions this will display all add-ons installed on your firefox. Is there a enable option? If not consider removing add-on and reinstalling it. Hope this helps let me know if it does.

  • CR Consistency check

    Hi experts,
I'm trying to transport CRs from our system to another one. Before processing further, I'm making some checks: Syntax check and Request Consistency.

I expect you mark or update on this before you post any thing.
Try out if you can call any batch files from Answers, I dont think you call them.

  • LMS3.1 psu problem - Consistency check failed for base package ...AG

    Hello,
We've got a package updater problem with a LMS3.1 installation.
    1. After trying to update RME Device packages from GUI we got a message that LibCommon-v2.3.2 is needed
    2. We tried to update LibCommon from CLI using psucli.bat, see below
    3. We found a discussion in this forum, simular to this problem with the hint to reinstall the RME, what we did but with no improvement
    4. We deinstalled, reboot, did a new installation of LMS3.1. But the problem still exists, with same message. We need the PSU, because most of our devices will be managed after device package update only.
Updating of each package brings warnings with pseudo package names, as ImageAG, MemoryAG and not with hints to real missing packages:
    C:\lms\bin>psucli -p rme -install -src C:\install\lm31-updates\ LibCommon
WARNING: LibCommon(2.3.2):Consistency check failed for base package ImageAG
see also the psu.log containing all tryes of package updates
The problem goes a little bit in this direction, but with a new reinstallation as well:
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/669047#669047
    What can we do?
    thx for hints, Steffen

When you install LMS on Windows, there are some recommended steps to take to ensure the installation is a problem free as possible:
Set the per-user and global TEMP and TMP environment variables to short values (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\TEMP)
    Disable all anti-virus software
Disable Windows Data Execution Protection (DEP)
Login to the server as a local Adminitrator
Install from original, locally attached media
NEVER abort the installation after the installer says not to
Based on the symptoms described here, I'm guessing at least the first item was not done.  TAC has a procedure to recover a bad RME package repository, but if the base installation is problematic, doing so would be moot.  If you suspect the installation isn't 100% (beyond the package repository), uninstall, then follow the above steps to reinstall.
If you think the problem is just with the RME package repository, contact TAC, and they can provide you a good, up-to-date repository to jump start things for you.

  • Consistency checks in APO

Can anybody please explain the reasons for doing the
    1.Model consistency check
    2. Re-org Consistency check(/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_REORG)
What would be the frequency for these consistency checks?

Okay I'll try and keep the answer simple:
    1) The model consistency check results in an overview of the (in) completeness of the master data
objects within the model concerned. Missing data (for example, coordinates of a location are
initialised) will be displayed by error, warning or information messages. It can be checked and – if
necessary – be corrected from the log. Should be done when maintaining master data or after
activating the integration models (master data transfer).
    2) For Time Series the memory consumption in the liveCache increases because of superfluous time series if the master data containing the time series information is deleted or removed from the planning version model. This report removes these superfluous data and tidies up livecache. Should be run daily.
For more info on consistency checks (mostly SNP and related) see the following document:

  • Process chain failed - Consistency check

    Hi all
we are executing a process chain of consistency check. It has been failing every day.
"Internal session terminated with a runtime error (refer to ST22)     "
Could you please guide me what might be the reason.
    Thanks
    Deepali

    Hello,
    It might be many reasons.
First thing is access transaction ST22 and analyze the DUMP raised on the process chain error.
    Check for that.
In case you do not understand the DUMP let me know what kind is it and I will try to help you further.
