Why is "Create Multicamera Clip" disabled on the clip menu?

I cannot enable "create multicamera clip" on the clup menu. I was just doing this the other day, how can I get the feature re-enabled.
oops - never mind ---
I must have been out cruising the galaxy, there was only 1 clip selected! Well, at least I finally installed my pending updates.

Hey! I tried both suggestions but even the self contained quicktime file has the green screen frames popping up.
I just dont get it, it's infuriating!
I used "chroma keyer" effect on the clip, only enable "key on saturation", the green screen disappears, I place clip on V2 and image on V1. Image is then visible where the green screen was. All is well until the last frame before a next clip because on that ast frame the green screen appears again. Where am I going wrong? Please help!

Have them install Quicktime on their PC's from Apple's website, that's the easiest fix.

Selecting item in the menu ring will disable in the another menu ring

hi everyone,
                      I using 8 dialog check box and 8 menu ring (Items 1,2,3,4).If i make the 8 dialog check box 'true' condition the corresponding menu rings will enabled .In that menu ring the selected item (1 or 2 or 3 or 4) will disable in the another menu ring.how to get an optimum solution?

                      By making any 4 rings with values(1,2,3,4) the disable items property works correctly in that application . But after make all menu rings value to 0 the other numbers(1,2,3,4) are disable in first click(mouse down event).it appear after the second mouse down event only why? and
eg:
rings              values
ring 1              4
ring 2               3
ring 3              1
ring 4               2
ring 1              0
but still  other menu rings are disable the value 1.how i enable it?

Display metadata instead of clip name on the clips in the timeline and in the source monitor

Is there a way to display metadata instead of clip name on the clips in the timeline and in the source monitor? Clip names are usually set by the camera and are of no use to me. What i would like the clip and the source monitor to display is the name of the shot from the metadata. That's,in my opinion, a very useful info when you're editing a film. If that feature doesn't exist, is there a way to batch rename clips based on metadata?

one other question maybe you have an answer to that too. it seems both Audio tracks are independ when putting on keyframes is there a way when using keyframes in the time line that it affect both channels of audio for example a1 an a2

Missing " Create Sample Java Client" from the context menu when debugging

Jdev 11.1.1.3 on Windows 7 x64
I have created an EJB - Session Bean from the ADF components and have put some logic into it with one public method.
I have exposed the method in the local interface.
I start the integrated server in the debug mode
When I right-click there is no option to do the sample client.
Am I missing a plug-in - like JUnit or something?
From the manual:
The integrated Oracle WebLogic Server runs within JDeveloper. You can run and test EJBs quickly and easily using this server, and then deploy your EJBs with no changes to them. You do not need to create a deployment profile to use this server, nor do you have to initialize it.
To run a sample client on the integrated Oracle WebLogic Server: In the Application Navigator, right-click on an EJB and choose Run.
Notice in the Message pane that Oracle WebLogic Server has been launched. Right-click on an EJB and choose Create Sample Java Client from the context menu. The default choice is to create a client for the integrated Oracle WebLogic Server, so click OK.
The client is created and opens in the code editor. If your session bean serves as a facade over JPA entities, code is generated to instantiate the query methods. If you exposed methods on your bean, the generated client contains methods that can be uncommented to call them.
After your EJB has been successfully started from the Application Navigator, right-click on the sample client and choose Run.

Pretty much what I did exactly - except - since my apps are all using the local interface - I did not create the remote.
This may be an old habit - but generally it is not a good practice to do both - though this may have changed lately.
I have this app working and the EJBs are executing fine.
I used a testview and drug the method onto it - and was able to debug it that way - but still no create java client in the menu.
Is there any other place to find this other than the context menu? Then I can check to see if it is available.
I am using WLS 10.3 that ships with Jdev 11.1.1.3 (forgot that little bit) without any changes.

Why has the ability to remove the Apple logo watermark from iDVD 7, been disabled from the preferences menu?

Not only did I have to buy iLife '11 just to get a copy of iDVD, I then find I am unable to remove the Apple logo watermark using the preferences menu. Why are Apple being so petty? This sort of controlling behaviour will only alienate loyal Apple custermers. Apple's still flavour of the month at the moment but...

Don't be so quick to blame Apple. The logo can still be removed. I'm still able to remove it in the iDVD/General preference pane. Try this basic troubleshooting fix :
1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete IDVD'S cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iDVD folder.
3 - launch IDVD and try again.

How can I create a hyperlink directly in the navigation menu using iWeb09?

I would like to add a URL to an external page in the navigation menu of my website using iWeb09. I have not been able to change the URL automatically generated by iWeb09 for each new page. The best I can do is to select text or an image that I want to link to the external page. I would rather create the hyperlink directly in the navigation menu. Is there a way of doing this?

Try this...
Create a blank internal page named "Link" (actually you can name the page whatever you want.) Then in that "Link" page add an HTML Snippet with the following code:

...Once published, clicking on "Link" in iWeb’s navbar will immediately redirect to the external page. (Thanks to Cyclosaurus for the code).

Why has Apple moved Dock controls from the Apple menu?

So I took the plunge and installed Yosemite. And then hunted for the oh-so-simple control to move the dock from one location to another, as I connected my MBP to a monitor. But where's it gone!! No "Dock" in the Apple menu - panic!! Then I find it in preferences. But why oh why Apple? It was a mouse-hold and single click to move or resize the Dock; now it's Open Prefs, select the dock prefs, then select the position, size etc I want. That's 3 clicks, with lots of mouse movement, instead of one. And this is meant to be progress!
Why?
And can I revert to having this control in the Apple menu?

tbirdvet, surely that's an intrusive and irrelevant question! It's what I want to do, the system should allow me to do it quickly and easily, as it has done in the past.
But if you really must know, it's because sometimes I'm on my laptop, sometimes I'm on laptop + monitor and they look different, are differently configured and so on.

Acrobat 7 - is there a menu entry somewhere for "Create Link" (other than in the context menu)?

I need to create internal PDF hyperlinks with the link tool on selected text -- however I need the links to be created via the normal application menu, and not from the context menu (i.e. not via "right-click --> "create link").
However, I can't find a menu command for "create link" anywhere.
Help is greatly appreciated.

To calibrate your camera, you would need to take a picture of the Color Checker. I assume you knew that much.
The calibration itself is an ACR thing that has nothing to do with Photoshop.
Until a few months ago, you would have to download a third party script, like the Tomas Fors/Chromohoilc ACR Calibrator, and run it independently.
That is no longer necessary, because now there is the Adobe DNG Profile Editor (often confusingly referenced as the PE), which is a stand-alone application with several features, like allowing you to generate custom profiles for any camera, and with a rab called simply The Chart Tab (sometimes referred to as the Wizard Chart), which will generate the calibration based on your shot of your Color Checker.
You'll need to download and install (it installs the new profiles automatically) the Adobe Digital Profile Editor:

Why can't I switch windows in the Window menu?

I just upgraded to Firefox 34 on my Powerbook (OSX 10.6.8). All of the sudden, the Window menu won't allow me to switch between Firefox windows; underneath the rule under Zoom, there's nothing there, even though I have multiple Firefox windows open. This is extremely inconvenient. Is this a new problem with 34, or...?

importance of LOGICAL FILE :
lets say we are in development server and the application files are in /int/<b>D01</b>/...../temp/file1
to read the file FILE1 above ,we have to give total path(we call it as PHYSICAL PATH) to the OPEN DATASET statement.
lets say we are working in the production server and the same file may be in different location. to read the file,again USER has to give the total path.then only OPEN DATASET can find the file.
/int/<b>P01</b>/...../temp
if we use LOGICAL PATH,
we are creating a logical path for a particular physical path.
lets say
zlog_path : /int/<b>D01</b>/...../temp/
we will create ZLOG_PATH as logical path and assign the value to that as above(the physical path).
lets say in production,
we will create the SAME LOGICAL PATH NAME but the physical path name will differ
zlog_path : /int/<b>P01</b>/...../temp/
the advantage here is,
user will give only the logical path and file name on the screen. he dont give the full physical path where ever he executes his report either in development or in Production.
we create a logical path using FILE transaction.

I have created a new sequence, dragging my subclips in. All looks fine. I save. I return to another sequence, then go back to my recently created sequence, and it is blank.

You really should keep your contacts in your Personal Address Book.
You can drag and drop contacts between address books.
When sending a message, and the recipient isn't in your address book yet, Thunderbird automatically adds the recipients email address to Collected Addresses. You can turn that off though.
