Why is Creative Suite CS6 asking me to register when I've had the product for several years?

It is not allowing me to open and run any of my programs in the Creative Suite.  I purchased and installed a few years ago.

  • HT5622 Why do I have to reset my apple ID when I dont use the ipad for a while

    I do not use my ipad everyday, and when I have left it 2/3 days I get a message to Reset my apple ID. Which means I have to keep making up a new password, does anyone know what I have to do to securely keep a password, instead of keep losing it. Thankyou.

    An Apple ID is associated with an icloud account and/or an itunes account.  Which of these do you mean?
    By reset, do you mean having to re-enter the password or do you have to change it?  If this is on an iOS device, I suspect you need to sign out of your account and back in.   (Did you recently change your ID's password?  That would cause your problem.)
    For example, for icloud:  Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.  Then log in again using the right password.

  • Why is my ipad2 constantly disconnecting from wifi?  We have had the ipad for 1 year with NO problems; then just this week (9-2) it has been disconnecting itself.  All other Mac products in the house (macpro, macpro air, iphones) all work fine... HELP!

    Can anyone from APPLE help us?  Just recently the ipad 2 has been disconnecting itself.  WE have had NO issues for 1 year.  All other Apple products in the house are running fine from same router/wifi.  Did Apple suddenly do something to ipad that is causing this disruption?? 

    You may think you are connected to the internet, but maybe not. Click on Safari and see if it connects.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • Memory leak in creative suite CS6

    Hi
    i have a user that run the creative suite cs6 software and after a few hours of using the software the machine becoming slower and slower.
    she as to close some software or reboot the machine to be able to work again with adecent speed.

    We cannot know. You are not telling us anything about the machine, what programs, what steps. Sorry, but just calling it a memory leak doesn't make it so and without an exact scenario to reproduce, this is pretty useless. In fact this could be just as well a generic system issue with swap space filling up, graphics card buffers not flushing, clipboard data accumulating or the system continualyl covering your behind by handling driver crashes quietly, but remnants of this obstructing operations. And then of course the usual - security tools blocking stuff, network access exhausting bandwidth and what have you. Otherwise of course any program can bring even the most powerful computer to its knees, if a user uses "bad" settings liek excessive History in Photoshop, but we realyl need a lot more details before we can even begin to take even a guess...

  • Why is Acrobat XI not Included in Creative Suite CS6?

    Our company has just purchased Creative Suite CS6, eLearning Suite CS6, & multiple copies of the Technical Communications Suite V4 (just released). None of these expensive packages include the new Acrobat XI, not even the Std version. In addition, PhotoShop has been removed from TCS V4, where it belongs. I see this as a callous marketing policy by Adobe to force companies to buy multiple product suites, or at least extra (expensive) essential programs (or be stuck with legacy programs). Even the so-called Master Suite CS6 does not include items in TCS. When you add the incredible cost of EU versions of Adobe products wrt to US prices, it is no wonder that customers are moving away from Adobe, or at least not upgrading as often as they used to.

    Acrobat XI was announced today, but still hasn't shipped.  The ship date is still a few weeks out.  That said, CS6 will not include Acrobat XI.  However, Creative Cloud subscribers will have access to Acrobat XI if they would like to install it.  Per the Acrobat XI FAQ:
    Which version of Acrobat is available in the Adobe Creative Suite® editions?  
    Creative Suite 6 and CS5.5 editions include Acrobat X Pro. Acrobat XI Pro is available through Adobe Creative Cloud™, which provides access to the latest versions of Creative Suite applications on a membership basis.
    I can understand your concerns as it relates to the TCS products and the Master Collection.  The best way to influence change on that front is to provide feedback directly to the product teams via the Feature Request form.

    Anyways...
    I recently bought the Creative Suite CS6 Production Premium as a student version.
    Now, in order to get the serial number, I have to verify online.
    There, I am asked about the language at one point. As I bought the software in Germany, I think you should chose "German", right?
    My question is: may I also chose "English", as I'd prefer an english version?

    I would choose the English version if that is what you want.  If things should run afoul in trying that you can always change the language (for CS6 at least) - Order product | Platform, language swap

  • Cloud Versions Break my Creative Suite CS6 Apps

    Installing the Cloud version of FlashPro broke my legacy Creative Suite CS6 FlashPro. Now it won't start. Why?
    Also, I installed FlashBuilder from the Cloud Application Manager. It says it is installed, but I have no idea how to launch it.
    How about a simple step by step on installing and launching Cloud installed apps, where to find the launch exe and howt fix CS6 apps that were already installed before subscribing to the Cloud service?

    You might try uninstalling Flash Professional and then reinstalling it.
    Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
    Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (XP)
    Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
    I'm not sure if you are on Windows or Mac but on Windows you should be able to launch the apps from the Start Menu on Windows and from the Applications folder on Mac.

  • Creative Suite CS6 under a network

    Is there someone that uses Creative Suite CS6 on two or more computers under a network? I have this problem...i work on a file saved on the network..i open it under Photoshop or Illustrator, so i try to open it on another pc and CS6 doesn't advise me that the file is already in use, but it opens the file and i can  work on it without any advise...so the problem is that the program permit me to work on a file from multiple stations without mark/block it as in use, and i can modify it simultaneously from more than 1 station and the saved file results the last saved...this problem occurs in every file that i have on my network..did you have the same problem? Can you help me about it? I searched for an option under CS6 preferences, but i didn't find anything.

    I tried to open concurrently files saved on my computer and not only on the network, so i'm sure the network and the permissions are OK...i verified the only notice i receive is when the file was saved, then CS6 (e.g. Photoshop or Illustrator) warned that the file was already modified by another user before i tried to save my changes.
    I verified this problem with another friend that works daily with CS6 on Apple systems and he had the same situation...i verified into the program's option but i didn't find anything, i think this is a program's feature but i asked if someone tried to do the same test on CS6 with Windows and/or Mac.   • "Access denied" errors in my Adobe Creative Suite CS6 for windows.

    I have just recently had some errors occuring in my Creative Suite CS6 for windows with certain operations.
    I have had my suite since last year and it has only recently started having error problems.
    My Suite has full administrative permissions and I have reinstalled it twice.
    I have tried to fix my Photoshop and Illustrator errors by preference resets but no change.
    I have looked at similar errors in the support forums and have come to no fixes.
    This is what I have come across
    Photoshop CS6 "save for web" feature says "error, oparation could not be performed. Access denied".
    Adobe Bridge CS6 error occurs when I try to close it, if I keep clicking on it eventually works.
    My Illustrator CS6 error occurs when I try to close the program, the actual button to close the program does not function, I have to go to file and exit then it has to close itself by windows force closing.
    They a very odd and I can't understand why now. If it is not my Suite it might my computer.
    I am little afraid to test my other programs however I dont use those programs as frequently since these are my web tools of preference.
    Help would be much appreciated and I hope it is fixable.

    STEP 1:
    FOUND MY PROBLEM (or half of it.)
    I went into my computer and then program files.
    I found that EVERY SINGLE TIME I click any of the Adobe Applications that say (64 Bit) they give me that error message I showed you in an above post.
    STEP 2:
    I clicked Adobe in program files.
    STEP 3:
    I can SUCCESSFULLY open any of my Adobe Apps that are not (64 bit)
    It turns out all of my desktop shortcuts of my adobe apps were all coincidentally 64 bit ones that don't work.
    SO- in conclusion I think I have partly solved my problem.
    I replaced all of my app shortcuts with the normal program files and NOT the 64 bit ones. BUT- I am worried....aren't the 64 bit versions of ANY apps you buy important?
    I do feel worried since my WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL is a 64 bit OS. This would effect my programs correct?
    Feel free to use my story to help you solve other customers' stories. I would like my problem looked into, but I am only half as stressed now.

  • Creative Suite is asking to revalidate my serial number.

    My adobe creative suite is asking to validate the serial number but then when I give the serial number offline it says invalid serial number.  Then is also says that the request code is invalid. I'm near the end of the 72 hours for getting the response code is it not working because it sees  the request code as too old?  I think I still have about 4 hours left.  The bigger question is why is asking to validate a serial number on an offline machine I have been using for 4 years now this frustrating.

    What version... cs3 or cs4 or ???
