Why is cs6 download from creative cloud only a trial?

I pay for the student yearly membership so why is my CS6 installed versions saying it is a trial.
When will it run out and what do I do when it does?

You can go ahead and use an another licence of Premiere Pro CS6 from the Disc.

Illustrator CS6 download through Creative Cloud "appears corrupted" according to App Manager

I'm trying to install Illustrator CS6 through the Adobe Application Manager on Mountain Lion 10.8. All of the other apps downloaded and installed fine.
But when trying to downlaod Illustrator, it downlaods the file, and the a message appears saying "The download appears corrupted. Please Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again. (-60)". I've been trying off and on for the past week or so now.
Any tips or tricks?
Not sure if it's relevant since the other apps installed fine, but I'm currently installing to a new external SSD drive that I've booted from. I'm installing all the software I need onto it. Then once I'm done and ready, I'll swap drives.
I'm running Apple OS 10.8 on a Macbook Pro with 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo procs and 8GB of RAM. The MacBook Pro is a 17-inch early 2009 model (first unibody model).

Hi Adam,
Its a workaround but might be an easy solution, you might just download and install the Illustrator CS6 trial and then just license it to be part of your Creative Cloud membership using the "License This Software" option.

CS6 gone from Creative Cloud, i need it

I am about to roll out half my users to the creative cloud and wanted to have them all on CS6 because the other half are on the 'disk' version of CS6 already. (want them all on same version).
I have just gone to create a 'Creative Cloud Package' and the applications i need are now are all CC (i need illustrator, photoshop and indesign), is there anywhere on 'the cloud' where i can download CS6 versions because going to the individual products pages doesnt even seem to give me an option of CS6 anymore.
Creating a 'Creative Cloud Package' would be the ideal route too as I'd also prefer to not download all 3 of the applications 11 times.

They can still have CS6 application as a part of their download.
on download page www.creative.adobe.com they need to select CS6 application from drop down.

Downloading from Creative Cloud

Yesterday there were 17 programs available, today only 12 in Creative Cloud. Where is Lightroom for example?

Also Lightroom 4 will not appear for download on Windows XP since it will not run on Windows XP.

Is it normal for Illustrator to go beyond 127% downloaded from Creative Cloud?

I eventually gave up and canceled download because I'm going home for the night.

I haven't heard of that and it doesn't sound normal.
As a workaround you could download and install the Illustrator trial and covert it to be part of Creative Cloud with the process described here:

Clicking any of the download links at https://creative.adobe.com/ i get to a page with the same top black bar with the same buttons, but the white space below is all blank.

Actually worked in Internet Explorer this time. Got Creative Cloud installed and am using that for installing Premiere. So... I'm good for the moment! Even if I think it really should work in the other browsers as well. My setup is nothing fancy. Thanks for the help!

I just became a creative cloud member but Light room isn't available as an application to download?

I assume you're running Windows XP which is not supported by Lightroom 4 so you won't be able to run it until you're on a computer which runs a supported operating system.

InDesign download from Creative Cloud won't save

I downloaded the 30 day trial of InDesign and Photoshop using Creative Cloud. All seemed to be working fine but now InDesign will not let me save. It is greyed out in the drop down menu and keyboard shortcut does not work either. Please help!

The video suggests you uninstall any Beta versions but says nothing about previous version of the apps.

Hi. I left CS5 on, installed CS6. There was a problem with the shortcuts but both CS6 and CS5 work. What I just found was that although files (.jpg in this case) opened through Bridge CS6 in Photoshop CS6, Windows Explorer still has CS5 associated with opening the file type. I could change that file type by file type but would guess there's a better way to get all file associations moved from CS5 to CS6. Thanks!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, have added plugins to firefox and to no avail. I have contacted support twice, was disconnected once and the second time was told to uninstall and reinstall and my account was closed as fixed. I have reinstalled with the firewall off. same error code.
