Why is download pdf for numbers documents disabled?

Some numbers sheet that resides in iCloud.com have the option to download it as a PDF. But the most sheets have this option disabled and only allowing it to download a Numbers '09 file.
How can I fix this?

I believe you need to open them on an iOS device before they can be downloaded in another format than Numbers.

The pdfs have been uploaded to Acrobat .com (from my computer) I open the Adobe reader on my ipad and see them in the acrobat partition of the reader. I tap on them and they open. To test whether they were truly downloaded ,I turn off wifi and they still open. I consider this "downloaded" BUT... they stay in the acrobat.com partition of the reader. Nothing ever goes or lives in the "Documents" partition..nor can I move anything there.....Why not? What is the"documents" partition there for if nothing lives or can be moved there?

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

Spotlight is trying to use wrong importer for numbers documents?

For a while now I've been unable to find numbers documents via spotlight, and today I tried to reindex one of them just to try and get a handle on the problem and this is what happened...
$ mdimport /Users/camden/Documents/spreadsheet.numbers
(Error) ImportPluginLoading: Couldn't load plugin '/Library/Spotlight/LogicPro.mdimporter/'
as you can see spotlight is trying (unsuccesfully obviously) to use the LogicPro importer instead of the (present and functioning) iWork importer.
I completely removed all traces of iWork and reinstalled already, to no avail.
moving the LogicPro.mdimporter to LogicPro.mdimporter.old removes the error message when importing, and now the newly imported file shows up in mdfind but not the gui spotlight in the top right hand corner.
Any ideas or am I in for a reinstall?

Wish me luck, I threw it out... I got a backup if i need it but I got sick of seeing it in console every 10 seconds.

If the patch level of the browser is not exposed to the website, the website should probably not claim that I'm running the latest version, since it cannot know for sure. Often patch level updates are security updates and those are the most critical ones (I can skip new features for ages, no problem, but a big security hole needs to be fixed ASAP). I'm tech-savvy enough to click on "Download a fresh copy", because I know what I'm doing and I know the page is wrong, but don't expect my mother to that ("But the page said, I am already running the latest version...").
The auto updater doesn't work because all apps I install on my Mac have root:wheel ownership (just like when installing apps from the Ma AppStore or those that ship as part of the system) and nobody but root:wheel has write permissions to the app bundle. This is actually standard for programs on any Linux system I know, why should I go with less security on my Mac?
This is no problem for AppStore apps (Apple updates those with a daemon running with root privileges) and this is also no problem for apps updating with Sparkle (after downloading and verifying the update, they will prompt for an admin password and then perform the actually file changes with root privileges), but Fx has no such mechanism. It will just try to update and fail because of insufficient privileges.

Why can I not open Numbers documents in iOS

I have a problem with Numbers on iOS and Mac OS X (Mountain Lion (version 10.8.2) that I have seen asked before, but to which I have yet to see an answer. I've been using iWork on iOS devices since it was introduced for the iPad and iPhone, and I use it on a MacBook. Across an iPhone 5, iPad, iPad mini, and the MacBook, I am unable to open numerous documents created last year. The most recent spreadsheets open alright, but the vast majority won't open, generating the error "Spreadsheet can't be opened." I have all the lastest system software updates on all of these machines. It appears it is the same documents that cannot be opened on each of the machines. None of the documents have the "uploading" indicator (up arrow), but some of them have the stock Numbers icon (a bar chart in black and gray), while some have a document preview. It's unclear if this is related, but several of the documents on the iPad mini appear to be in a perpetual state of downloading, with progress bars running through their stock Numbers icon, and never filling up/completing.

Generating PDF for Any document No in SAP

Hi All,
My requirement is to create a general Zprogram, which requires to pass "DOCUMENT No , Company Code, Fiscal Year"
and generates PDF file corresponding to that document inn SAP.
Though their is an standard program which requires to pass "SPOOL No" and generates the PDF. But How to link Doucment no with the spool, I amnot bale to figure out.SO please do the Suggest.

Basically in FI , spool is generated for payment advice and check.
Now generally the payment advice is printed and sign off and then given to vendors.
But sometime it also requires to send payment adive by mail because of miss place of advice from vendor end.
Now user can eaily search out the payment documnet no corresponding to that paymnet.
Now gain they need to generate a new spool, print it out ans scan and finally send it via mail.
So the requiremnt is to generate a z program in which if a uaser passes a Document No, Fiscal Yera and company code. and the required PDF got generated.
Hope now exactly got my requiments.

OWA 2013 - No download option for office documents

Using Chrome, Firefox and IE browsers I do have a "download" option right next to the attachment as long as the attachment is NOT an office document (.doc,xls,ppt,etc). If the attachment is an image, a download link is right next to the attachment
as expected.
But if the attachment is for example a .docx file I only have a preview option available and no download. Also right-click to Save-As only shows an HTML download.
I have enabled in ECP
Permissions - Outlook Web App Policies - File Access
Public or Shared - Direct File Access and Web ready document viewing
Private - Direct File Access and Web ready document viewing
and
Servers - Virtual Directories - Owa
Public or Shared - Direct File Access and Web ready document viewing

The only thing that worked for me was to boot in safe mode.
Power down. Then press power button and hold 'shift' key until grey screen with progress bar appears... Once booted and logged in just open safari and browse to applestore.
No trouble at all once I did this.
Reminder: create full backup before you upgrade OS

Firefox won't download pdfs from some sites, e.g. Wells, but others too. Bank said use IE - that works. Help

Only seems to happen on financial sites. I use xp sp3 on lenovo thinkpad t61.
E.g., to download a pdf statment from Wells, I open the statment and then try to save it, but no option to save it. Called bank, they say to use Internet Explorer - that works. With IE I can right click on the file and then use "Save as" or I can open the file and "Save a copy". Can't do eaither of these w Firefox 19.0.2. I don't think that this used to be a problem. This is not a problem with all pdf files from all sites.

Firefox has a new built in pdf viewer, and whilst this has been released it is still undergoing development, with bug fixes due and further features likely to be added.
I do not notice any named pdf reading plugin in your system details, but you may need to consider using a third party pdf reader for now:

There is a possibility sites or pdfs may be faulty, and that advice given may not be the best. Please give links to any faqs etc publicly posted by banks relating to pdf use, and the web address of the banks are having problems with.
One of the problems with the Firefox viewer is fixed in the firefox Beta channel and possibly in an add-on you could consider trying those.

But, why appear the option "Store Business document" disabled? I configured all in oac0, oac2 and oac3; any idea?

i could not find any unfortunately, what is the alternative that you followed to do this,
did you attached documents from the left hand icon Service for Objects Tab, from where also we can attach documents for any transactions.
Can you please tell me if any document is attached with the help of this Tab, is there any search option to find the files attached,
is there a link between this attachments and the SAP DMS or archive link.

Safari - can't download pdf files

In the past few days I have used Safari to go to a number of websites that I use on a weekly basis. I have normally downloaded pdf files of documents. But at present I can't get the pdf file to download.

As Yang suggests, 'cannot create file' normally suggests that the download folder you have selected is not somewhere you have permissions to write files to. Try changing it to somewhere that should be writable, such as your Desktop and retry the link.
I tried the directions you provided and it works fine here.
