Why is downloading new storage taking so long

I brought som more storage for Iclou ,why is it taking so long for my storage to download ?

It includes this with the available iCloud storage options on the iPhone.
10GB - $20/year - 15 GB total iCloud storage.
20GB - $40/year - 25 GB total iCloud storage.
50GB - $100/year - 55 GB total iCloud storage.
Not sure how someone can equate "total iCloud storage" to increasing the iPhone's storage capacity, but the following is included - contact Apple for a full refund within 15 days of an upgrade or within 45 days after a yearly payment. Partial refunds are available where required by law.

Please make sure you have version 18.0.2 and that you have tried clearing cache and cookies.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.

It's been a few days since the original post. If you use Software Update again now, do you still have this problem?
Also, what is the name and version number of the update? If you can't get Software Update to do it for some reason, you can search for that update on Apple Support, then download and install it manually.
Before you do that, run Disk Utility (which is on Applications/Utilities). Select "Macintosh HD" in the sidebar and go to the First Aid tab. Click Verify Disk. This will check to make sure there is nothing is wrong with your startup disk. If there is a problem reported, that may be causing the problem with Software Update.

Why does downloading from iCloud take so long now?

I've been using Match since it was released. I'm used to the download times required for hour-length albums, playlists, and hi-def TV programs.
My memory is that a year ago, downloading an hour-long music album that was bought on iTunes in iTunes Plus format (256Kbs) took abouit 5-10 mins. So why does it now take ONE HOUR?!?
Likewise, my memory is that a year ago, downloading an hour-long hi-def TV episode that was bought on iTunes took abouit 20-30 mins. So why does it now take TWO HOURS?!?
My infrastructure is the same: broadband connection with over 100Mbps down, iPhone 4s, iPad 3.
WHY has downloading from Match gotten SO SLOW on iOS devices? On my new iMac it is blazing fast. And a year ago, it was rather quick (as detailed above).
Anyway who has info on this, would greatly appreciate seeing it posted. Thanks.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Test after each one. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Set the default startup disk.
2. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to start up. If there's no change, reconnect them
3. Reset the System Management Controller.
4. Reset the PRAM.
5. Reset the printing system.

i formatted the Hard Drive from Disk Utility in order to Re-install OSX Lion...The download time first shown was like 53 hours and then after like 10 minutes it went down to 10 hours...i am pretty sure thst the internet connection i have is very fast, so why does downloading OSX Lion take so long?

Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are having a problem installing the software for your 5740.
I would like to help.
The install should not take that long. In my experience, setting up the printer for out of the box to finish, should be 20 minutes to half an hour.
So that I may better assist you i would like to clarify something.
What is taking a long time?
Is it the actual installation, or are you downloading the software from HP.com, and that is what is taking so long?

Why Is Lion Recovery Update Taking So Long?

I got the update around 10:15 NYC time, I started it at that time. It is now 11:50pm, and only 88MB of 888 MB have been downloaded. Why is this taking so long??? My MacBook Pro is completely up to date (10.7.1) and I have very fast internet service. This should zip along. It's not. At this rate, won't be done till the morning. Any ideas?

Why is this video render taking a long time?

OS X Mavericks, Photoshop cc 2014, 2011 core i7 3.4 imac with 32GB ram, 256GB ssd scratch disk, 2GB video card.
See images for layers setup, etc., and for export settings. Each 'slide' is a jpeg under a MB placed as smart object. Each lower third is about 2 MB placed as smart object.
Render takes about 24 hours to complete. Why is this taking so long? I've tried this on other machines but they all take about the same time. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks, in advance, for your help!

How long are the video clips and I see on at least one you have added a camera raw smart filter. I do not know how a smart filter operates on a video clip. However if Photoshop need to renter a full frame for each video frame and filter each frame image with ACR then encode the frames into a mp4 video stream it could be a very time consuming process for nearly 170 thousand frames. Have you tried encoding the mp4 without using the ACR smart filter adjustment? You also do not show the Timeline palette.

Do a clean (re-)install instead:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

IOS 8.0.2 download that is taking too long?

I have an iPhone 4s and downloaded iOS 8.0.2 onto my iTunes and into my phone within 2 hours. My sister has an iPhone 5 and iOS 8.0.2 has already been downloaded onto her iTunes. The only process left is to have the download completed on her phone, but that is taking much longer than the actual iOS 8 download to iTunes. The download bar on the phone has almost reached the end, but has stuck at the same place for the last hour. (This did not happen with my phone.)
I have unplugged the phone from the computer, but the download bar is still visible with the same point that has not moved a bit. How can this be fixed? How can I increase the download speed? Or do I have to patiently wait? Please help!

If you unplugged the phone from the computer, you have already interrupted the download and install process. An update via iTunes is not a Wifi update, so once it's unplugged, it is not going to start up again.
Reset the device: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the "Slide to Unlock" screen will display. Go to Settings>General>About, and see what version number is showing. If it is 8.0.2, then you should be good to go. If it is not, hook the device back up to iTunes and start the update again.
