If it is a problem than I have it too. Mine does the
same as long as I don't stop the device via the
little green arrow icon (USB manager) down by the
clock.
I never really need to use the Ipod when it is hooked
into the PC because everything is done through
iTunes. I just thought it said "do not disconnect"
because it was associated with both iTunes and the PC
as a hard disk.
If I stop the device or "eject" the iPod, it goes
from do not disconnect to the normal menu tree.
So when you take the USB cable out of the iPod, it goes back to normal?
If that's what you mean, mine does that too.
It's just that I read that if you remove the USB cable from your iPod while it says 'do not disconnect', it can wipe all your music....

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

If you are syncing music to the iPhone automatically, you won't be able to drag and drop tracks on to the iPhone and the music will be grayed out.
You'll have to Manually Manage the music.
Configure iPhone, iPad, or iPod for manual management
If you have iTunes 7 or later*, follow these instructions:
Connect the device to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select iPhone, iPad, or iPod in the Devices list.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos".
Click Apply.

I have created a custom table with DATA BROWSER/TABLE VIEW MAINT. equal to 'N' (Display/Maintainance not allowed) in SAP ECC 6. The the requirment is, this custom table can be displayed using the transaction SE16n.
This requirement is existing in ECC 5. with same setting DATA BROWSER/TABLE VIEW MAINT. equal to 'N' (Display/Maintainance not allowed) and this table can be viewed using transaction SE16n.
would there be possible that this requirement be implemented in SAP ECC6? would this be due to the version?
Please help.

Thanks for your answer but unfortunately this is not what I'm looking for. Iam also familiar with &SAP_EDIT.
Well, my problem is, the custom table setting Data browser/Table view Maint. is set to "N Display / Maintainance not Allowed" ( under Delivery and Maintainance Tab). Also there is no table maintainance generator setup.
So basically with this setting, in transaction SE11 'Contents' is disabled. And with transaction SE16n, when you execute and tried to view the table, error "You cannot display zcustom_table with standard tool". (checkboxs are hidden)
What the requirement is looking, the custom table can be viewed (this is with the same setting above but can be viewed using SE16n and the checkbox maintain entries is automatically tick but when executed "auth failed" so, basically to view the entries, untick the checkbox then entries can now be viewed.)

scripting error with IE. "Error: conditional compilation turned
off".
And the other thing is, this function gets executed when the

I am puzzled frankly why Apple corporate has decided to remain virtually silent (and not at all helpful or apologetic to users) on its website and public statements regarding the mess people experienced in trying to install the new 2.0 update on first gen iPhones, or currently, in trying to get MobileMe to do even part of what was promised. From a company with such loyal customers, this is frankly baffling. I hope that criticism the company received this week in newspaper columns (see links below) by two generally pro-Apple tech critics -- David Pogue in the New York Times and Walt Mossberg in the Wall Street Journal -- really take Apple to task for its blunders.
The New York Time's Pogue really hit the nail on the head -- http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/24/technology/personaltech/24pogue-email.html?em& ex=1217131200&en=9e9469e0fadb7cc5&ei=5087%0A -- by implying that Apple has become just like all of the other tech companies when it comes to being totally indifferent over customers' complaints or requests for help.
The company even refused to try and clear the air by speaking to Pogue on the record!
I really wonder what genius at Apple has decided that silence and no form of apology is the best policy. I would think being compared to the competition is the last thing Apple would like. The corporate mind is truly unfathomable.

ESS IView access to ERP - login page displayed and not access possible

Hello Colleagues,
we have to setup Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal as well ERP.
All required steps seems to be performed but we still facing one access issue.
If I try to enter the Link My Employees under SAP Portal > Employess Self-Service > Travel and Expenses it get an web login (ITS) from the ERP system and not direct access to the service. In addition I am not able to login with defined user an password.
If I try the to enter the service directly (test service) at transaction SICF on the ERP (ECC) System itself it works fine as well with defined user and password.
If both IE Browser Windows are open, then I am able to see the service (empty table) unter My Employees at portal after click again under Link SAP Portal > Employess Self-Service > Travel and Expenses > My Employees.
So I think the general connectivity works fine but some thing still wrong with maybe IView access/permissions/roles?
Any Ideas?

This means that your Single sign on is not working correctly.
Things to check:
1. From Portal System Administration - for the system object created for connecting to the backend system - try to perform the connection tests and make sure they pass.
2. Access your portal with a Fully Qualified Domain Name (for example: myportal..mysubdomain.mydomain:port/irj/portal instead of just myportal:port/irj/portal) - this should most likely resolve your issue - since you see the error only for WD4A applications.
3. Make sure that the host name you have configured in the portal system and the host name with which you access your portal are in the same domain.
Also, check the SSO related profile parameters in the backend system:
login/accept_sso2_ticket=1
login/accept_sso2_ticket=0
login/password_change_for_SSO=0

when i start to use firefox on facebook it works ok for a bit and then it starts not responding or is really slow. i never had any problems with firefox till these latest updates. what could the problem be. it's very frustrating and i have always liked using this until now.
