Why is every song I purchase not downloading completely

I have the most current version of iTunes. I have tried deleting the song and then redownloading it from the purchased section. I am frustrated!

There do seem to be a lot of these sorts of reports lately...
Occasionaly the source file is actually corrupt in the store so no amount of redownloading is going to sort that out.
You could try rebooting the computer, clearing your browser's cache, the iTunes store cache (under Edit > Preferences > Advanced) and the <iTunes Media folder>\Downloads folder before trying once last time. If that still doesn't work report the problem using the "Report a problem" links in your account history, letting them know what you have tried so far.

    I have the EXACT issue as Hatchs88 and the response doesn't help. I found a 3 of 4 missing songs as "song".tmp file in the music directory but I can't do anything here...     (Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

    Did you possibly do the update for new itunes software ? That may be the culprit.To get rid of the entry with cloud,go to Preferences.Go to Store.UNCHECK show itunes in cloud purchases.Click OK..This does not delete,merely hides.Good luck.

    Are they old songs that you may have purchased from a different store id years ago?
    If your have old purchased songs that are drm protected and they are not associated with the store id that you are currently using then they will not be eligible.
    I would burn to a disc and then rip back to your library.
    Burn to the cd.  Deletel the old files from your libary and delete the files don't keep them.  Rip the cd back.
    After you have tested the ripped songs back then empty your trash, or back up the old drm protected songs in a seperate folder.

    Hello!
    I own a small company and we are having the same problems.
    IE9 is not working with the latest flash update infact the update has messed up flash complety for all sites once installed.  I went to YouTube eariler and it warned that I needed to install to the new Flash Player upon instaling and returning to YouTube it had the same message. This led us to download both the x86 and x64 versions and useing the uninstaller went through each one and tried the updates. None of the downloadable updates from Adobes site works. I have also loaded up Windows XP in a virtual machine and trying IE 8 with the latest updates and it as well does not work and does the same thing upon updateing it just keeps saying to install the latest update allthough it has allready been done!
    Now on the other hand I loaded FireFox and it had the same update and upon restarting the browser after applying the update and it works just fine!
    Im on a Windows 7 x64 Ultimate box and ran the WindowsXP in the VM. FireFox was loaded on the main OS and worked fine after said update.
    Of Course I have allready double checked the running addons in IE 9 and the files within the /system32/ and all the flash files go there (x86 and x64 were differnt named files)
    Im guessing there is something conflicting betwen IE (IE 8 and 9 tested)
    Now this is not just happining on this machine but all of our desktops and laptops no one has any trouble with FireFox working
    Also this will break all flash objects in IE even localy as now no flash works it acts like it is not installed.
    Guess will see how long this takes to get fixed or aknowledged...  lol

    There is no notification that the download was unsuccessful or incomplete and the 'search for available downloads' option comes back that all songs are downloaded.
    What can I do without having to purchase the song again?

    Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) have you tried deleting it from your iTunes library and redownloading it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ? If it's still in your iTunes library then iTunes will assume that it doesn't need re-downloading. Re-downloading.
    If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
