Why is FF so slow on W7 when IE works without a glitch? I dont want to use IE, i think it sucks..
My Mozilla Firefox v. 3.6.3 is extremely slow, it seems as a problem with getting the scripts(or what you call the webpage information it needs to open a webpage) it takes at leat 1 1/2 minutes to open a simple webpage... This is VERY annoying! Any solutions? PS. I dont think that it has anything to do with plugins since I only have the ones that are needed to display a webpage..
Me Again.... I forgot to say that this version 4 is running as slow as the MS Internet Explorer, but the opera is running as fast (If not Faster) that both of them... Please try it.... Colin

When I upgraded from the iPhone 3GS to iPhone 5, I simply did a Backup of my phone using iTunes, plugged in the new iPhone 5 into my Mac, and did a Restore of that backup to put everything back. This procedure is documented around the web. Also, the new phone will ask you for your Apple ID and when you enter it, all your iCloud info will be downloaded to the phone. It worked pretty well for me.

As long as the film has been fully downloaded (or synced from your computer's iTunes) then you should be able to watch it in the iPad's Videos app without needing to be online - is that how you are trying to view it ?

I have entered a gift card on my apple id. The credit shows but when I try to buy a song itunes wants to used my previous credit card information to complete the purchase? When I click on redeem it asks for the gift card # again??
It will automatically be charged against your balance. You need to nothing.

Although I select hotmail as my default account (it´s my personal) Iphone always takes my corporative account to send my emails when I attach a pic, video, or any attachments. I want the Iphone always use my personal account (hotmail) to send all the attachments.
Settings->Mail, Contacts,Calendars->Mail->Default Account should be set to the one you want to use.
You can also, when attaching Pics, Tap on the CC/Bcc From Line and then on From to choose an account to send the pictures from. -
Why is my laptop slowing right down when itunes is installed?
i have a windows 7 laptop that i have installed itunes on and it has slowed my laptop right down. the cpu usage is going up to 100% and it is taking at least 5 minutes to do any basic actions such as opening an application (ms Word etc). i have 2gb of ram and decent intel with it. i cannot understand why when i have loads of memory left and the programme isnt actually open. and when i do manage to get it open, it wont let me access the itunes store. is there a way of turning itunes off for when im not using it like you do on the ipod for example, and turning it back on when i need it again?
And i cant understand why it wont let me access the itunes store. the firewall is not blocking it and i have a decent wifi connection although the dagnostics on it says i dont have a sercure wifi connection. any ideas for this?

Why does my internet slow WAY down when I have camera wirelessly connected
This is a great camera for my purpose, but for some reason it is slowing my internet download to crawling speed when I have it connected wirelessly. Btw don't know if having it done wired does any good.
It used to work fine (without slowing down my internet) until I added a second wvc210 camera, so I removed the second camera and its still sloooow. If I have it disabled (unplugged) then my internet is fine.

I dropped my MacBook pro on the floor around 1 meter height, it landed on its bottom part, the lid was closed but it was on. When I opened it the screen was black and I could hear the fan sound. I restarted it and it took around 8 minutes to start!! Every thing became very slow and freezing all the time, I'm trying to back it up but it's freezing every time! The two fingers tap is not working also :(
Does this mean that the hard drive is damaged or just needs to be fixed in its place properly?

Thank youSomething broke. Accidental damage is not covered under Apple's warranty.
It could be just a couple of connecter knocked loose, or the logic board could be cracked.
Take it to Genius Bar to find out, and pray for loose connectors.

Why cant i use zmicro media explorer? I dont want to use WMP10?!?
hello everyone.
long story short...i purchased a zm back in october, installed software and used media explorer to xfer music. that zmicro went bad and replaced it with another one in January, installed software but cant use media explorer, i am forced to use wmp0 to synch, i HATE using wmp0, to me it's complicated and too bulky, i dont need the xtra features, i just want to xfer files in a windows explorer environment.
the only difference i notice is that my st zm had bios ver..x and this one 2.x, what is the difference? 2.x works only with wmp0? because when i open media explorer it states that the device is not connected and to please connect...and yes, it is connected and available in device manager and WMP0 detects it.
please help me with this freaking dilema, love my media explorer!!!!

With my st micro I just installed media explorer and it worked flawlessly, I had nothing else to install....darn it!

I downloaded and installed the I-play program from their website, but then decided i didnt want it, and uninstalled it through windows 7 program and features. The I-play search issue began at the same time I installed the program, but didnt go away when i uninstalled the program

I had made an backup file and moved back to 3.6.
If FF4 is your new to go, be happy with it.
But without me, and I can tell you This: many will move to other browsers on the way FF4 works now.

Every time I login I get the message "aosnotifyd wants to use your confidential information stored in "my name" in your keychain." How do I know if it is safe to allow this? Can anyone advise please?
My immediate reaction is to deny.
Have you downloaded or installed any application that may relate to the abbreviation AOS? It may not necessarily be the application's name, could be the developer or distributor.
As it's occuring at log-in, go to System Preferences > Accounts > your account > Login Items and look for a related item. If there's one there, right-click (or ctrl click) on it and select Reveal in Finder. That will show you where the originator of the item is on your system and should give you more of a clue as to what it is.
I'd remove the item from login items anyway (highlight and click the minus sign at the bottom of the window). There shouldn't be anything trying to use your keychain info to notify anyone. -
