Why is Firefox only showing part of my Gmail login menu?

I log into my Gmail using a nav button on FIrefox entitled 'Google Mail - Inbox'. Whether it appeared there automatically or I put it there, it has worked fine. Today, it doesn't, I instead get an odd Google menu which shows only the text of (what I assume is) my Google account. Can one attach a file with a screenshot here, can't see any attachment facility? They say it may be caused by a broken or slow browser connection, but then Google do tend to clutch at straws. I need to work out whether the problem is Google, Firefox or both.
Can't open the 'Troubleshooting info' box below. I am on a Mac PPC G5 on Firefox 3.6.28, which Firefox keeps threatening to pull but hasn't done so yet.

I opened iCal back up, all the dates were blank, so i started to type events into a date.
As soon as I started to double click a date to type an event, magically all the events in all the months reappeared.
I'm still puzzled why it acted this way and if I did delete something that caused it to act this way.

I have indicated on the attached jpeg where the problem is, basically a line of text is missing at the top and part of the feeding diagram is missing. I created the artwork in different layer and then flattened. All text has been converted to outlines, however the areas being affected have no transparency, I have used solid fills or no fills. I get the same result when I export the file as a jpeg. Hope you can help.

My program monitor only shows part of a clip during playback, though output to an external monitor is fine. If I stop playback and click in the monitor window, the clip is displayed correctly, but reverts back to partial when playing back.
This started happening today after installing Matrox tools update to 5.1 and latest matrox effect patterns. Everything else is perfect inc source monitor.
Have tried may settings changes, new projects old projects, new clips etc etc but its the same every time. Any ideas what has gone wrong? Its been running perfect for last 4 years. Is it worth reinstalling CS5 and would I have to reinstall Matrox also?
Windows 7 system 64 bit; 2 x 2,66 quad xeon processors; 4Gb ram;

Not really, a bug I suspect...
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Why is iTunesHelper only showing up in 1 of my 3 accounts?

This question pertains to the "iTunesHelper" application. It is a mysterious application that apparently runs in the background to enable the connection of ipods. This is from some info I obtained from google and on this apple discussion forum.
Before I knew what "iTunesHelper" was, I considered deleting it from my login items however I think I will just leave it because I am sure Apple OSX has a good reason for putting it there.
Here's my question:
I have three accounts. Why is the "iTunesHelper" application only listed in the login items of only one of my three accounts?
The "iTunesHelper" application shows up only in the login items of the first account I set up. Then, I set up two more accounts and the "iTunesHelper" does not appear in their login items. Does this mean that itunes and ipods will only work properly with my first account?
Should I try to figure out a way to add it to my other two accounts? Should I delete it from my first account? I have a feeling I will just leave it and all is OK but I thought I would see if anyone else had any thoughts on this mysterious application and if there is any problem with the fact it only appears in 1 of my 3 accounts.

Another funny thing about iTunesHelper is that many references to it are from people with PCs running Windows. I am using a mac and I see it listed in my login items. i wonder if it has any purpose on macs or if later Apple might make use of it more.

If this is the case, then I have a problem because since I set up my computer I removed the "admin" designation from the first account and instead I assigned the "admin" designation to the second account that I set up. Because iTunesHelper only shows up on the first account (which is no longer "admin"), my system no longer has iTunesHelper on the admin account (when you login the admin account, iTunesHelper is not in the list of login items). iTunesHelper is only in my first account which is a non-admin account. Is this a problem?
Does this mean that my current admin account (the second account I set up) and my third account (a non-admin account) will not have access to iTunesHelper? And if so, is this a problem?
What if the account that happens to have iTunesHelper is rarely used (never logged into)? Will the other accounts never be able to make use of iTunesHelper if the iTunesHelper account (the first account - regardless of whether it is admin or non-admin) is never logged into?
There must be some way to control or assign which accounts have iTunesHelper as a login item.
My only explanation is that iTunesHelper may not be important.
Could anyone offer any insite on this?

Why does Firefox sometimes show low-resolution versions of some websites when IE shows the full version?

Recently, using FF 3.6.8 and 3.6.9, after I've used Ashampoo Magic Optimizer, certain news websites only show up in a bullet-pointed low-resolution text without any graphics. Other websites appear in their normal way. Accessing these lo-res websites via IE browser, they all appear in their full-resolution normal way. Then, some days later, it all comes right again on Firefox.

This may be related to session restore.

I'm doing a job for a client in InDesign CS5. I have not worked in CS5 before, so don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.
It seems to happen randomly and I have checked the preferences and tried using different settings for the Display Performance. I've even tried viewing the job with Overprint Preview switched on.
When placing images only a part of the image shows. When I output to PDF or Print the file then the entire image shows. This makes it very hard to do layouts, especially in cases where I need to crop an image.
In InDesign it looks like this:

If I understand things correctly, you're placing client-supplied images into a new InDesign file that you're creating, so the only part of the workflow that you haven't created is the graphics. This logically leaves the container file innocent.
The question becomes "what's up with either the hardware or the graphics?" If the problem persists with the same graphic files and a new container file on a different user account on the same computer, it's possible that hardware is the villain. If it doesn't persist on a different computer, it's likely the hardware. If it does persist on a different computer, in a new container file, it's likely something in the graphics files.
It's not clear if the graphics card in your iMac is one of the models whose video RAM is "dedicated," that is, it doesn't share video RAM with the main RAM, or if it does share VRAM. If it shares RAM, it's possible that 4GB isn't sufficient to display all the open applications and their demands. If this is the cause, it's a hardware issue (insufficient RAM.)
Because the graphics print and convert to PDF without the problem, it would seem that the graphics are innocent, but perhaps something in the processing of these outputs causes the problem to disappear. For example, perhaps there's some flattening involved. Perhaps there's a clipping path or channel mask of some kind involved that affects the InDesign display? (Just fishing.)
Have you tried opening the graphics in their creating application and saving them to new names? Any difference in the behavior when those graphics are freshly-placed in InDesign, or when their links are updated?
Have you tried placing PDFs of the graphics? If they appear properly, can you crop them to achieve your requirements and hope the problem goes away after the deadline passes<G>?

Why does history only shows sites visited in current session?

I use history to go back to sites I have visited but history only shows where I have been in the current session. It only has todays sites to choose from and those are only from the current session. I.e if i go to a site in the morning and go to visit it in the afternoon there is no trace of it. I share this computer and dont want to clutter up the bookmarks page.

Are you clearing history when shutting down Firefox? Check in Options > Privacy and see if "Clear history when Firefox closes" is checked. If so, click the Settings button and see what is set to be cleared.

Firefox only shows a few of the bookmarks folders I made and I can't access those not shown, how can I make it show all folders?

I use StumbleUpon and created many folders for different categories of Bookmarks. When I try to bookmark a new site, the bookmarks menu only shows about four or five of the folders. Is there some way to show the others? I would like to see a list of ALL the folders when I try to make a new bookmark, and I can't find anything on your Help Pages about this issue.
