Why is Firefox so dramaticly changed since version 4. I absolute dis like it and I dont want to use Firefox 4 anymore if this ''new"' interface remains as it is now
The tabs are changed and also a few knobs are on a different place.
Read the comments and problems on FF4.
I had made an backup file and moved back to 3.6.
If FF4 is your new to go, be happy with it.
But without me, and I can tell you This: many will move to other browsers on the way FF4 works now.

Me Again.... I forgot to say that this version 4 is running as slow as the MS Internet Explorer, but the opera is running as fast (If not Faster) that both of them... Please try it.... Colin

If you see that pop up you enabled icloud. Whether you want or do not want now to use it irrelevant until you actually disable activation lock.
In order to do that you have to change your apple id back to do that just long enough to sign in and back out. System will ask you to verify, don't.
Just sign in on the prompt you getting and then logout. Once done, change apple id to what you have now and verify. Then decide if you want to
use icloud (who does not want to be able to track their phone if lost or stolen). -

The hardware on the 2G does not support an iOS version higher than 4.2.1. If you want apps that require a higher version you will need to get a newer model iPod.
To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Vintapps 3.1.3 - paid app.

When i create a new window, firefox Yanks me back to where i was and i dont want to be yanked back.
i duplicate current pages by create new windows on a very frequent basis;
to do this, i go to the top of the page that i want to duplicate and right-click and click on Open Link in New Window;
I specifically want to duplicate the page i am on in another Window, not a new tab;
Because
Duplicating the current page to Open Link in New Tab, gives tabs on the top of my screen;
Duplicating the current page to Open Link in New Window, gives 'tabs' on the bottom of my screen;
I want 'tabs' to show on the bottom of my screen and to do that i have to Open Link in New Window;
My question and What is happening, is that firefox is yanking me back to the page that i have just duplicated by right-clicking at the top of the page and clicking on Open Link in New Window;
When i create the new Window, firefox yanks me back to the page that i just duplicated and i dont want to be yanked back to that page;
I want to stay on the page that i just duplicated.
I have tried changing the way tabs work in Options but nothing checked or unchecked results in the specific way i want to have new Windows open and STAY on that newly created Window and not be YANKED back to the window i duplicated.The original window did not have a Flash object, but does the window that hides itself contain a Flash object? That is the usual pattern for this bug in the plugin's protected mode feature.

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (restarting Firefox might help) before this would take effect.

Everytime i try to open my itunes icon it says "This version of itunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version". Then there is no option and i dont know to do this. Please help.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.

I updated to Firefox 4.0.1 this morning. Norton 5.5 is now disabled and the message states that it is incompatible with 4.0.1. I need the Norton features enabled. Can I go back to 4.0 until this is resolved?
Please do a Live Update to the Norton product.

My iPod touch was stolen and recovered. I can use my Apple id for this site but the theif changed the Apple id needed to update apps etc and I do not know how to delete his acct. Any help with this will be greatly appreciate
If the thief enabled activation lock on the device, then there is nothing that can be done. Only the password for the Apple ID that it is locked with can disable activation lock.

I have tried to change my User id which is an email address I no longer want to use. Now I am constantly getting requests from icloud and Apple ID for my password and cant get into my icloud account.
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Why when I try to update certain app it require an old email address and password I have not used for years and I do I get to update them on my new details
Apps are tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase them and you will always need to use that ID and password in order to update them.
Saying that you do get to update them on your new details makes no sense at all. -
The new version 11 crashes my entire PC causing a total restart about every 15 minutes and I have tried everything to fix this problem with no luck so I have now went back to I.E. aat least it doesnt crash and i can watch Youtube vids without hanging up every 30 seconds!
Each new version of Firefox seems to be WORSE than the one before, crashing my entire system is my biggest issue at this point! Some of the older versions seemed stable so what and why has the developers tptally ruined this browser? I am not the only person with these problems I see forums full of users complaining so why isnt the developers putting out a stable browser?
Firefox needs to GET ON THE BALL and get a stable browser out for all of its lowal users this is totally rediculous! I am VERY PISSED OFF!Whatever you do, don't get version 12 because it's just as bad as the rest. Not responding, not responding is what I see most of the time. I'm tired of looking at that blue circle spinning.
I thought Firefox is suppose to be tops but I've had more problems with it than I had with IE. It literally takes minutes for some pages to load. Tabs and pages open by themselves from who knows where.
The updates and new versions go from bad to worse. I scan my computer several times a week with MSE, Malwarebytes, Spybot and SuperAntispyware, thinking that it might help and it doesn't.
This is pathetic. Firefox, please get someone in there who knows what the heck they are doing. It seems like instead of bug fixes, someone's putting in some bugs.
No one should have to repeatedly do this:
1. Restart your computer
2. Clear your cookies and cache
3. Update your plugins
4. Restart Firefox in Safe Mode
5. Troubleshoot your plugins
6. Reset your Firefox settings
7. Reinstall Firefox
8. Make a new profile
Other solutions
Check for conflicts with your Internet security software
Scan your system for viruses and spyware
Check your hard drive for errors -
My nano ipod only reads 4 albums from the entire library since the newest version of iTunes. What can I do to fix this?
Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

Having installed thunderbird, and subsequently disinstalled it, Safari cannot find Mail.app anymore.
This is rather annoying, since I cannot send links or web contents anymore from winthin Safari.
Is there any way to reinstall Safari or make Mail visible to it?
E.O.Open Mail's Preferences, and change the default email reader back to Mail

I am using Safari 5.0.5 and open a page that is a PDF and only a black screen comes up and asks where I have Adobe Acrobat. I do not have Acrobat and want to use preview. I looked in the Safari preferences and there is no place to set it so PDFs only use Preview. Please help!
JohnRight or control click a PDF file you already have on the hard drive then click Get Info.
In the Get Info panel from the pop up menu next to: Open with
