Why is FrameMaker not included in Creative Cloud?

I have made the abbonement Creative Cloud and afterwards I have discovered that Frame Maker is not included. Why?

We do not work for Adobe. It is obviously a marketing decison. They think they will in the long run make more money for leaving it out of the CC. However, it can be purchases through a subscription plan similar to the CC.

Why are photoshop elements and premiere elements not included in the 50 euro per month creative cloud membership? I thought this fee would entitle you to use all Adobe programs.

Adobe is clear on what's included in the Cloud - and it's never been all Adobe software. Mainly the software previously included in the Creative Suite Master Collection.

  • Why are video production apps not included in Creative Cloud membership?

I took up the offer of getting Creative Cloud cheap(er) for a year (I have a registered copy CS4 Master Collection). However, when I go to the Creative Cloud app download page or the Adobe Application Manager (see below) I am only able to download a subset of the apps that I had in CS4 MC?
    Why?

They are included, your system simply doesn't meet the system requirements. All video apps require a 64bit operating system and from the layout of the title bar alone I can tell that you are on Win XP. So no, unless you upgrade your operating system, AE, PPRo, Encore, AME, Prelude etc. will never show up.

  • Why is LR not showing on creative cloud?

I have purchased and downloaded creative cloud however llightroom is not showing. How can I get lightroom on creative cloud?

I am with Thomas_Kennedy and the rest of you on this topic!! I pay $54 (that includes tax) a month for Adobe Creative Cloud even though I own Creative Suite /CS6 and I have been wondering the same thing!!
WHY... OH WHY... has Adobe NOT included Captivate in the Creative Cloud Suite?????  I see that Premiere is now a feature, but NOT Captivate?? AND... there is a $29.00 charge to sign up to get Captivate Cloud... why is this separate??
I LOVE all of the features CC offers, but not having the eLearning tools is driving me nuts!! I am having to use other programs and brands when I would LOVE to use Adobe for everything I do. I have been asking this question from the VERY beginning when Creative Cloud was first launched and I hopped on board.
ADOBE.... are you listening to your loyal customers????  We are having to use other (less expensive) options.... wouldn't you rather us choose YOU over some other brand???  We are waiting....
Note to ADOBE: We have invested in you, now please invest in us and add a few extra features to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite!! Don't make us pay an extra 29.00 for ONE program...pretty please...

  • Why is Encore not included in my Cloud package?

I just realized that Encore is not in the cloud package I just subscribed to. I'm an AV person, I have to have Encore. Where is it? Why is it not in the package?

I stumbled across this concern, just as you. I was editing a client's DVD from Premiere since I create DVD's from Premiere into Encore. I noticed: Adobe Dynamic Link-->Send to Encore was missing from Adobe Premiere CC. Then I found out why from Adobe. I think it was in a blog from one of the specialists.
This was taken from the article:
The trend in the video and broadcast industry is moving away from physical media distribution. The future is in cloud and streaming content. Therefore Adobe is focusing more on products that deliver to streaming services. For example, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Premiere Pro CC include a new feature allowing users to create iPad-ready video with QuickTime chapter markers. The Encore CS6 version will be the final release of this product.
My only question or concern is how does one create animated menu's that you normally created in After Effects and Encore CS6 for use on the web as the above indicates? If I'm placing my client's DVD, esentially on Vimeo, how does the Remote function work?
One of the product specialists from Adobe, Dave, has a video on how to use Encore CS6 with Premiere Pro CC.

  • Edge Tools and Services Are Not Included in Creative Cloud Subscription?

I purchased my Creative Cloud subscription for a year. I have installed all the applications I intend to use from the Adobe Application Manager.
When I run the software that is part of the Creative Suite, it prompts me to register the product with my account and then it launches just fine. But when I try to run the software that is part of the Edge Tools & Services, it prompts me that I do not have a subscription and asks if I would like to start my 30 day trial. Shouldn't these applications be included in the Creative Cloud subscription? Or do they need a separate subscription for some reason?

    Hi Kplover,
Which Edge tools are you asking about specifically? I think Edge Animate is the only one included for installation in Adobe Application Manager at present. Edge Inspect and Code are still in preview.

  • Why i can not use the creative cloud desk app?

    Hello! i've a problem.
Yesterday I subscribed, I installed 3 applications, and today I can no longer use it.
The application of creative cloud goes blank. Try to uninstall and reinstall but did not work.
    What I can do?
    Thank you!

Very likely there was a probem accessing the Adobe servers, anyhow, applications are already installed and you can use them, non-working Cloud just prevents you from accessing some services.
Posiblemente tuviste un problema de acceso a la web de Adobe. Espero que ya te vuelva a funcionar.
De todas maneras, las aplicaciones están instaladas en tu ordenador y puedes utilizarlas, no?

  • I have downloaded creative cloud but I do not have the creative cloud icon on my computer?

I have a membership to Adobe and have access to all the CC programs through the Icon "Adobe Application Manager". But I do not have a Creative Cloud icon in my applications? I also cannot sync fonts from Typekit as it says "Desktop font sync is not available on this operating system or device". When I click on the "learn more" it says the program only runs on "OS X 10.7 and higher", even though my computer is up to date. I can access all my creative cloud programs,  Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign etc... Which confuses me as to why it is saying I cannot sync fonts as Typekit/Creative Cloud will not operate on any systerm lower then OS X 10.7..
    Ahg, confused. Help!

  • Why when I have an annual Creative Cloud subscription am I repeatedly asked to login to authenticate

Why when I have an annual Creative Cloud subscription am I repeatedly asked to login to authenticate the subscription - sometimes twice, three times during a single product session usage? It's really out of control with Acrobat Pro where I am routinely asked to agree to a trial subscription. Why, I have a full subscription?? Almost everytime I open a PDF file, I am asked to sign-in - this is a huge time burner and completely ridiculous! This new subscription model is extremely frustrating to deal with day in and day out - please fix this mess.

I have been having this same problem for the past few weeks.  I ran the subscription with no problems since August of 2013. I agree this is time consuming and frustrating. It has now started to do it with illustrator too.  I am not sure if it started when I updated.
I thought I solved the problem last weekend, when I removed an old trial version.  However, I didn't exit Photoshop because it was having this problem and I didn't want to deal with it. My computer updated and restarted and the problem is occuring again.

  • Newly installed Acrobat will NOT open from Creative Cloud app on Desktop using Windows 7 Pro - what's the problem?

Newly installed Acrobat will NOT open from Creative Cloud app on Desktop using Windows 7 Pro - what's the problem?

the cc desktop app is used to install and update cc programs (and a few other thinigs).  but that does not include 'opening' the installed programs.
click your start button or your program files directory to find the acrobat executable to launch acrobat (and any of your other apps, adobe or otherwise).
