Why is google automatically downloaded with flashplayer?

When downloading Flashplayer it automatically downloaded the Google taskbar and Google Chrome.  I do NOT want these on my computer and want to know why you are forcing them on me.  No option to not download was given.

To prevent this, use the direct links for Internet Explorer or direct links for other browsers to download Flash Player installer.
The Mac OS X installer is here
Bookmark those for future use, as Adobe updates the installers at those links when they are released.

Why can't I download adobe flashplayer?

I have a i5 iMac with MacOS 10.9, Firefox, Chrome and Safarie.  My systems says there is an update to Flashplayer.   I click on OK and it sends me to the Adobe page where there is a button to download Flashplayer.   I click on the button and it takes me to www.adobe.com.   When I place the cursor over the link Firefox show the link as www.adobe.com and no file to download.   How can I update Flashplayer?   Is your page link broken?

  • Why wont google toolbar work with fire fox 5????? also how can i get firefox 4 back so i can use the toolbar???

Hello,my question is why wont google toolbar work with firefox 5?????
Also how can i get firefox 4 back so i can use the toolbar???

This page is an easier way to download Firefox 4.0: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-4.0&os=win&lang=en-US , as this links starts the download process asap.
I needed to upgrade to Firefox 4.0+ for an add-on that I really needed. However, I can't use Firefox 5.0, as I randomly checked 3 add-on's I had: "Firefox PDF", "Delicious Bookmarks" and "After the Deadline", and none of them worked with Firefox 5.0. In fact, I will have to download alpha versions, etc., to get these add-ons to work with Firefox 4.0.

  • Why does Safari automatically download files?  I want option to download.

Why does Safari automatically download files? I want option to download or not. I didn't think it used to automatically download. But now every time I click on a file that has been sent to me it does give me an option to view or not..it just automatically downloads it. Any suggestions?

    Hi,
Why does Safari automatically download files?
That's what Apple decided it should do. It's not my preferred option either to be honest.
I didn't think it used to automatically download.
Safari has always done this. Maybe in the past you had a third-party application installed that did this for Safari.
    Any suggestions?
Safari menu > Report Bugs to Apple... or http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
For more immediate action, have a search around www.macupdate.com or www.versiontracker.com to see if such an 'extension' exists to force Safari to prompt on download. (Bear in mind these kind of things can be sensitive to the version of Safari they're used with, so if Safari starts crashing down the line they would be the primary suspects to remove)

  • Why is my automatic download for season passes not working?

I'vr been using iTunes forever, but all of a sudden my season passes are not automatically downloading when I click 'check available downloads' and instead I have to go to each show and click download next to the episode. Whats up with that?

This is what Apple Support said:
This is correct, they will no longer download automatically. I apologize for the inconvenience.
    Please use these steps:
    Open iTunes on your computer
    Sign into your account
Under "Quick Links" menu (right hand side)
    Choose "Purchased"
    Choose TV Shows
Locate your show and download the items you are missing.
My questions: Who is making up these changes at Apple iTunes?  Why is the goal now to make customer lives harder?

  • Automatic downloads with multiple accounts

My wife and I share a MacBook Pro and we each have our own user accounts on the computer. After I set that up, I can no longer enable automatic downloads in iTunes. It gives me an error saying that the computer is already associated with an Apple ID and I can only auto-download with one apple ID every 90 days. This doesn't make sense to me since we each have our own accounts like I mentioned. We also have separate iTunes accounts. This is really annoying because a big selling point of iCloud is that if I buy something on my iPhone that it will show up on my iPad and MBP.

Hi, I also have a German and American account, for many reasons. I hope Apple re-thinks this quickly, as I know many people in my same situation. I am American but live in Germany because I am part of the US Forces still here. I am also married to a German. We love our iPhone and iPad, but can only afford 1 of each and share their use! So you can probably understand why we have the two accounts, hope Apple can also, and not think just about the $$! There are many Apps that I use that are only available in one store or the other and not both. Example, here, our cell provider is A German firm, naturally, they provide many Apps with services for free or at reduced fees, navigation for one example. But, of course, none of these are in the American Store! So, what Apple is trying to tell all those Americans who work for the Armed Forces or serve their Country all over the world is, if you want to use your US account and use local country Apps and services from an account where you are serving you MUST buy a 2nd device for that account or wait 90 days every time you need to access the other account?! Come on Apple, I know they have legal copyright issues to deal with and control, but hey, Steve, we live in a Global World now, of all companies, I would think that Apple would be the first to shed some of the regional limitations and think Global for their customers!

  • Why PO is automatically assigned with release strategy?

I created a PO with PO document type NB and NB is not assigned with any release strategy.
But the PO with NB type is automatically assigned with release stragety when I save it as a completed PO.  Why?
And only when the PO is in held status, there is no release strategy assigned to NB PO.
    Is the normal ERP behavior?
I only assigned a release strategy to PO document type DB, which means dummy document type.

Please check the release strategy of PO, whether document type NB is assigned to it. May be you are checking the wrong release strategy. Look up the release strategy under CLASSIFICATION button, may be if multiple release strategies are used, your document type is assigned to some other strategy.
Easier way to check which strategy is getting applied, is in PO release strategy look up rel. strat No. which will come under release group, look up in spro with this release strategy no. in spro which will shorten your search.

  • Automatic download with Bridge in Vista

I recently upgraded to Windows Vista and now I can't find how to set Bridge to automatically download photos from the CF card once inserted in the card reader. With XP this happened automatically after I installed Photoshop but not so under Vista. I have an option to set a default program to autorun when you insert a CD or other media with pictures on it but the only choices I get are (translated from Dutch): "Import photos with Windows", "Display photos with Windows", "Open folder and display files with Windows Explorer", "Take no action". No Adobe Bridge and I can't find any option to add other programs.
Anyone knows how to do this?
    Thanks.

According to a technote on Adobe support: "Bridge and Photoshop Elements are 32-bit applications. When the 64-bit editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista detect that a new device or media has been connected, they do not recognize 32-bit applications as programs that can be used to download or manage the content"
Too bad :( I'll have to download manually with Bridge then because I'm running Vista 64 bit here.

It could be your geographical location.

  • Why didn't Numbers download with Maverick update? It says I have to pay $20 for it? I thought it was free? What did I do wrong?

Numbers didnt download with my new maverick update. To my understanding, its supposed to be free? Is this correct? Now its saying I have to spend 20 dollars to download it. What went wrong? How do I fix it?
    Thanks

It is not free as part of upgrading to Mavericks.  It is free if you owned a previous version only - the upgrade is free for people who already have iWork apps.
Or, if you bought a complete new Apple computer on or after Oct.1, 2013 it is free.
Otherwise, if you've never owned any iWork app at all, you have to buy it.

  • Why are itunes automatic downloads misplaced?

I'm using iTunes v11.0.0.163 on a Windows 8 desktop system.  Often, I buy music on my Mac at work expecting it to download automatically to that system when I come home and start iTunes.  Download occurs, but often, the music ends up stored alphabetically by song name in the directory . . . iTunes/iTunes Music/downloads.  What happened to downloading albums and having them stored and displayed as albums indexed by artist name?  This stuff is not indexed in my iTunes library and is lost for all practical purposes.
    Humbug iTunes 11!
    A little help, please?
    Thanks,
    Joe

Doesn't Little Snitch only react when an app tries to reach out to the net, so I don't see how it's the problem.
It may be that iTunes just needed a log into to the server to confirm that I wanted to turn the feature off as I went ahead and logged in with the features turned off and it seems to sticking this time.

  • Why is bluetooth automatically enabled with iOS7?

Does anyone know why bluetooth is automatcally enabled in iOS7? I turned it off initially but when I did software updates to 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 I noticed bluetooth was on again. Does this need to be left on in order to use some of the new features?

Just turn it off, you only need it if using Airdrop or connecting to some BT device.
I'm guessing, but the update may turn it on just to test it, as sometimes an iOS update does include a BT firmware update or bug fix.
P.S. turning on Airdrop does turn it on as well, but, disabling Airdrop does not turn it off automatically.

  • HT201272 "Automatic Downloads" with audio books?

I cannot get an audio book I purchased through iTunes on my laptop onto my iPhone at all.  Any suggestions?

Audiobooks are not mentioned as being part of icloud.
Pat is referring to ibooks which are NOT audiobooks.   This is how you redownload purchases which are part of icloud.  As I said earlier, audiobooks are not mentioned as part of icloud.  It is your responsibility to backup your purchases.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
