Why is "guassian blur" the one and only filter when exporting?
In the export thing, there is a "filters" thing, and the only available thing is "guassian blur". There must be a reason for this. Why have filters at this point? And why guassian blur? Is this some kind of much-needed feature? To blur everything in the last moment? I don't get it. What's the purpose of that?
Also, a bonus question: wasn't today (17th) when you are supposed to be able to download the trials of the new CC apps?
From the help file:
The Gaussian Blur effect softens the image and eliminates noise. Adobe Media Encoder applies the Gaussian Blur effect as a pre-encoding step. This step minimizes the noise that the encoder would otherwise have to encode. It results in quicker encoding and smaller output file sizes. Select the Output tab to preview the results of this effect.
My guess is that noisy video is usually fixed in the timeline, but maybe not?

I had this problem too - of grayed out music I could only play when in WIFI. I noticed when looking in iTunes, these grayed song were not chosen by me to sync on to my iPhone. They were stored in iCloud. I went to Settings > Music and then turned off "Show All Music" so only music that has been dowloaded to my iPhone will be shown.
I don't have iTunes Match, so you may have a different issue than what I had. -

The one and only error noone else has... cpp-353
Hi everybody.
I work with Premiere Pro CS4. Don't wanna hear about an update, it's absolutly not an issue here.
I'm trying to open an old file I found on my computer, but inexplicably, il always get the same error : [..\..\Src\Time.cpp-353].
The file is NOT corrupted, il checked it with an XMP program and it says the file is perfect.
The links are all good.
The files being there or not doesn't change a damn thing (I tried re-converting them with SUPER, nothing happened). They are all MPEG2 and MP4 (h.264).
I don't have the shadow of the trace of a Codec pack installed, nothing but VLC, SUPER, and Premiere.
I haven't found a single topic with my error code howerer hard I googled it.
Any leads ?OK, these started out as corrupted files, but were somehow converted to good files.
Now, you have a Project, that references these files, and when you wish to Open that Project, the program crashes.
The first thing that I would do is to hide those files, and attempt to Open that Project. If the PRPROJ file is also not corrupt, PrPro should ask, "Where is file ____.AVI?" At that point, direct the program to where you "hid" them. What happens?
If that does not work, launch PrPro and create a New Project with the same Preset. Then, attempt to Import that other Project into that. Does that work?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

I recently sync one song to my friends iphone 4 and it erased all the music and only put that one song. I tried backing it up but it didnt help. How do I put all previous music back on the iphone?

Why in my email ( the one on my ipod5 that I use with my apple ID) when I get emails about my use of my apple ID to use a service in the from field it has my fathers name and when I click on it it shows his contact info ???? I also set up my apple ID with a new email account and also I signed up for iCloud but used the same apple I'd email and password but it gave me a I cloud email! I did activate the favorites in my email . Noticed the from field has my fathers name and contact and it is a notification about me using my apple ID to sign in to FaceTime! Something is messed up, not sure how or why???
i didn't read a lot of your 2nd paragraph, but it seems like the password is the issue, right?
do a true clean install
reboot your machine and hold down command+option+r, you should see a spinning globe - if you don't see the globe or anything that reads internet recovery, shut down and try again
at menu, chose disk utility and once there, find your HD on the left side, select the physical name and erase it as mac journaled
exit disk utlity
at menu, choose install OSX
this time, when it asks for a password just hit continue, it will let you complete without a password
you should be able to get into your laptop, now figure out what password you'll be able to use with your kb issue -

Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?

The photos that I better (improves automatic) are saved on the iphone, but when I transfer them to my PC improvements appear no more, only on iphone. I do not understand why the improvements are just the iphone, and not continue when I transfer the photos to my PC.
Thanks.Chicky, I have searched my computer for "iPod Photo Cache" and 51 folders pop up, plus 3 files (iPodInfo.plist, Photo Database and Image DB Temp.tmp). How do I know which to delete and which to keep? The Apple website page tackling this issue doesn't go into any detail. Thanks yet again.

im trying to restore my iphone and itunes doesnt allow it to restore without updating. problem is that i have the latest update on my iphone so why is it forcing me to wait for a 7hr update download when i already have the update and only need to restore?

iTunes has stopped allowing me to import CDs. if I reboot it will import one, and only one. all was working fine before. the itunes diagnostics have all green lights
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

I have 100's of CDs that I have downloaded to my itunes library and they are in the library playable but they do not show up in the C drive under the iTunes Music folder under users. Why are they in the libary and not in the itunes music folder. Win 7 OS. When I look in the library under the get info screen it says they are in the folder itunes music, under the c: drive but when I actually go to that folder to look for them they are not there....HELP!

How do I make one (and only one) device use my Apple ID and iCloud account? I currently have an iPad mini, iPhone 5, and MacBook pro attached to my apple accounts, but I want only my iPhone 5 to be assosiated with either one. Whenever I use any of the three devices, I get a notification on the other two telling me that these devices are now using these accounts from these services, etc. and I want these notifications to stop, along with the devices using to them. How do I do this? I completely reset the iPad mini so I don't know how I'm still getting notifications from it, and I deleted and signed of of all of my accounts everywhere I could find on my Mac. So, to restate exactly what I want to do, I want ONLY my iPhone 5 to use ANY of my Apple/iCloud accounts and ONLY it can receive emails, iMessages, and FaceTime calls. Thanks!
If you want to disconect your Mac from iCloud, go to System Preferences>iCloud and click Sign Out. If you only want to stop using iCloud email, just uncheck Mail. To stop iMessage, open the Messages app, go to Messages>Preferences, click the Accounts tab, click your iCoud ID on the left-hand side, then to the right click Sign Out. To stop FaceTime, open the FaceTime app, then click "Apple ID" then click Sign Out.
On your iPad, go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account (or if you only want to stop using iCloud email, turn Mail off). For FaceTime, go to Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID and sign out. For iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID and sign out. -
I have a Iphone 4 gsm (8f190) and it will not connect to itunes and when i put it in recovery itunes will not work. It won't show up when plugged into the computer. Only charges when plugged in the wall or a car charger. I've tried everything imaginable but I can't get the phone to register in iTunes at all.. The phone won't even reset.. when i try and reset EVERYTHING on the phone the apple logo with the progress bar starts to come up but the progress never moves.. PLEASE help me..
