Why is HDR not working in CS4?

Hi there,
I am operating a Windows 7 32bit OS. For some reason I cannot do even a simple HDR in CS4 with only 3 images. Either it gets 90% of the way through (looks like it stops around merge to HDR after importing and masking images) and then just stops dead and I am left with an empty pallette screen or I get a message saying their is not enough storage. What storage and how can I fix this problem? Is it my computer or the program that is having an issue?
Comp Specs (1 year old):          i5 2.6gz processor
                                               4GB DDR3 RAM
                                               1GB Nvidia Graphics Card
                                                800GB Sata Disk Space available
                                                Seperate 100GB Sata Disk allocated for Scratch Disk
                                                Operating at 30 History Levels and 70% Memory allocation
This is very frustrating indeed.
Also if I need to reinstall where are my created actions saved?

I can't offer much of help re: HDR, but I can answer your last question:
If you have created actions and you want to save them, do this:
1. Click once on the set name to highlight it.
2. Click the little button near the upper-right corner of the Actions panel to get the fly-out menu.
3. Choose Save Actions.
4. Save the actions as a .atn file on your disk.
5. You can load actions in an .atn file via the Load Actions entry of that same menu.

Adjustment layers not working in CS4

I just installed Photoshop CS4 and I can create an adjustment layer, but the editing box for that particular adjustment layer does not come up. It works just fine in CS3 on the same computer. I have a G5 (non Intel). Any ideas why this is not working?

Look at the Adjustments Panel.. new in CS4. Window > Adjustments
There are no dialog boxes anymore.

Lorem and more not working in CS4

whats the deal? It worked fine in CS3. I purchased a suite for CS4, so I did the CS3 clean procedure, installed the suite and then installed Lorem and More thru CS4 ext manager. it will work once if I select any option other than lorem ipsum text and select continuos with no character amount. It will not work again until DW is restarted, then only once. Other wise it will pop up and let you make your choices then do nothing when you hit ok. I emailed the support address on the authors site, and got a response of "it works on m y machine with cs4, cant help you". Anyone else experience this? How did you resolve it? I use this extension a LOT and would hate to be without it.

Tryed it out for you but works fine on my cs4 as well. You see this more often with extensions that copy files into the sites root folder and are only willing to do that once until restarted. I can't imagine why it's not working, sorry. I tryed to repackage the extension under a different name, no clue to wheater it helps though (see attachment).

Script that worked in CS does not work in CS4 - multiple open page, print , pdf export and close

I had a script that worked great for me in Indesign CS. But now does not work in CS4. Anyone knows what needs to be done to make it work again ?
When I drop folder with indesign files on top of this script:
1. opens first page
2. turns specific layer on
3. prints using preset
4. exports using preset
5. close without saving
6. next page
Anyone who can give me solution or idea how this should work is greatly appreciated.

(Disclaimer: me not an AS guy!)
First thing I noticed is the interaction level is set off. If you comment out this line
set user interaction level to never interact
you might be able to pinpoint the exact error -- ID will display a standard "failed" dialog, hopefully showing the line that it fails on.
A quick question: the script assumes two presets in your InDesign: one for print ("letter size") and one for PDFs ("pdf preset name"):

Do these actually exist in your CS4, with the same (non)capitalization and spaces?

I have an older iMac 5,1 and the disc drive no longer works. I was hoping that I could the Apple USB super drive as a replacement, but the info on the super drive page says compatible with iMac 2012 or later. Does anyone know why it would not work for me?

A reply to similar question (Q & As , in product page Apple Store) says:
"...dissable the internal reader hardware from devices setup. Then plug the external usb superdrive and that's it." Answered by Enrique T from Lima Oct 25 2013.
If you can locate an external Apple USB 'Air" superdrive for earlier model MacBook Air, that should work. The newer one for the Air is the same as for iMac, now.
You may be able to use other brands of external USB optical drive with your older intel-based iMac, as some of them function capably. A few should also be able to see system discs or other bootable utilities on DVD.

Facetime only works via WiFi. Are you trying to set up Facetime with a T-Mobile account?

If you are referring to online gaming, then PS3 like all non-apple devices uses upnp to open ports.
Apple uses NAT-PMP to open ports.. East and West.. never the twain shall meet.
If it is internal wireless issues.. that is different.. airport should be just like any other wireless router.

Update projects and events from previous versions of iMovie in iMovie (2014) - Apple Support
you can update from iMovie versions 7, 8 and 9, but iMovie HD is iMovie 6.
Maybe you can update in two steps, first from iMovie 6 to iMovie 7, 8 or 9 then to iMovie 10.

Also since you are using a random userid, you might end up with multiple users with the same ID and IDs are generally supposed to be unique...
