Why is InDesign is using fake small caps instead of the real ones included in the font?
I was trying to use the small caps in Hoefler Text, which I did by hitting the small caps button. Instead of using real small caps (which should be in proportion to the capitals), InDesign created fake small caps by scaling down the capitals (which is disgustingly ugly). I know Hoefler Text includes real small caps because I can see them in the glyphs palette. How do I get InDesign to use the real small caps instead of creating the fake ones?
Just checked the font file. "Hoefler Text" comes courtesy of Mac OS X, pre-installed with your system. It's an OpenType font with TrueType outlines (actually a collection of four styles into one single file), and its typographic features, including the Small Caps charrington42 noticed in the Glyphs panel, are guided not by OpenType features but by Apple's AAT features.
InDesign cannot use AAT features; only Apple's own software can. TextEdit, for example, can access the real small capitals:
You could submit "Please support AAT" to Adobe using the Feature Request form -- I don't see anything against it. Or perhaps just the fact that it's only applicable to a small amount of fonts, and on Mac OS X only.

I want to be able to use airplay to stream audio to another iOS device, and then use that audio stream to be used when recording video instead of the built in microphone / microphone input. Is this possible?
A third-party app probably cannot obtain a stream from another app. To the best of my knowledge, such a capability is not provided in the software development kit, apps being "sandboxed" from each other and so allowed to communicate only in very specific and limited ways.
I'm not completely sure what you mean by "limitations on video capture". An iPhone, to the best of my knowledge, can natively record video only through it's built-in camera, and audio while doing video recording only through the built-in microphone or mic/headphone jack. There might be a video recording app that would allow audio input from an external device connected to the dock connector, but I'm not sure.

yeah I use a windows keyboard both in OS X and in windows on my imac I pref the split ms type of keyboard over the tiny apple keyboard and I pref the razor mouse so those are my main input sources in both yosemite and windows8.1

Is there anyway to find a new font on Pages for iPad? The letters are hard like a rock when you use foreign languages like Thai. The fonts on device do not support foreign language.

Possibly because you have set iPhoto to refer to photos stored elsewhere rather than copying them into its own library; and you've moved the photos.
If you have it set this way, Preferences>Advanced - 'Copy items to the iPhoto Library' will be unchecked. -

Why, o why, does it keep going to small caps?
Hello all. When I do a find/replace for imported text to a style sheet, or if I apply a style sheet onto imported text, it keeps applying the style with small caps. The imported text doesn't have small caps. The style sheet doesn't have small caps. I know I can go back and clear overrides, but what the hell?
With nothing selected in the document, check your character style selection (if you have any defined) and then check your character settings. It sounds like you have a local override set by default in the document.
So, whenever you are placing or typeing text, it is acquiring that default override.

When using my iPhone 4s front camera, the screen sometimes become black or have blue stripes on it! Is this a hardware or software problem? Can this issue be covered by my warranty? Font size Elements 12 way too small - how to enlarge the font?
Windows 8.1 and Elements 12. The font in Elements is so small I can hardly see it, much less use it. I've tried everything I can think of and I cannot get the font any larger. Any ideas??? This is crazy!
That is the actual size of your image file. 48 x 38 is very small.
That is not a Bridge or Photoshop problem.
It is a very small image and you cannot enlarge it more than x 1.5.
If you want a large photo you must ask for it from whoever gave it to you, or take a bigger photo if it is yours.

The font I use on my Iweb is not the font i see on my iphone or pc.
Ok so the font i'm using is Skull Typewriter which i downloaded from a free font website. So I checked out my site on a pc and on my iphone and my font is switched to a common boring font. Why and how do i fix this so that everyone across the globe can see the font I intended to be seen.
It's not about being dangerous, it's about being annoying. If I visit 1,000 websites and each one of those websites requests that I download a different custom font, it's a massive waste of my time and space. Not to mention all the issues that occur with spacing and layouts, Mac/PC cross-compatibility issues, screen resolutions and browser compatibility all working against each other.
If you want something to be viewed consistently in the same font and layout, your only guaranteed choice is Flash, which then presents a whole host of other problems to you. -
How to use an external webcam instead of the built in on Sat A215-4757
I would like to connect a Genius webcam instead of the built in camera as to get better capture angles. Could intall Genius soft but the images still come from the built in camera. Tried to disable built in camera but enable Genius camera, but no images was shown.

What applications did you use to use the other external webcam?
Generally if more then one device was installed you have to choose and activate the right one.
The same happens if more printers are installed on OS. You have firstly to activate one and assign it as default.
Check if you can mark your external installed webcam as default webcam.
