Why is Infinity no longer available?

A few weeks ago my village suffered theft of the trunk telephone cables, and so I looked into Inifinty as those already with the service maintained thier internet connection (just no phone). As I'm on ADSL with another provider using a static IP, I didn't immeadiatly sign up (I wanted to get external hosting sorted and a MAC code). Having convinced my wife to go for Infinity, and resolved my own blockers to transferring, when I came to sign up for Infinity last night, it is no longer available for my phone line, or a new line. Why is this? Is this purely a capacity issue, and if so are there any plans to upgrade equipment in cabinets that are now full?

I would be very surprised if fibre cabinets are Full yet.
Are you sure that your old local green street cabinet has a newish green fibre cabinet in close proximity to it.
When you first looked into infinity, did you input a TELEPHONE number (forget postcodes, forget addresses) into the BT wholesale checker did it say infinity was available to you.
Your exchange being enabled is only the first step to Infinity, your cabinet must be upgraded for you to recieve it.

Why is Lion no longer available to download from my purchased apps list?

I bought Lion some time ago to upgrade an old 2007 Macbook. I never got around to it & now I want to, but when I go to my Purchased apps, Lion is there but I can't download it. That is kind of crap. I paid for it & now I don't have access to it. If they want people to accept downloaded OS purchases, then they need to remain available forever to those that did purchase it. It is not acceptable to tell me to go buy it again from the apple online store for $20.

Definitely same thing here - and I am completely sick of it.
I purchased Lion at $40, then later upgraded to MLion at $20, then when I worked on my Mac, came back to install, couldn't install Lion, but could MLion. Now, working on it again, and once again, can't install either one, but can Maverick, which was free. And it's taking some extra work for me to even get it to download.(((!!!))) So I'm having to do a complete clean install with just Maverick. My iLife '11 crap won't even install now - which also cost me money.
I'm seriously rethinking standing behind Apple any further. This is exactly like paying with a check, then turning right around and canceling it. That, in short, is ripping people off and stealing. If we purchase something, we should be given the option to keep it, so we can store it on an external, without issue because it was purchased and given the option to receive a hard copy via regular mail, because it was purchased - which would come in very handy, especially seeing that we did purchase it with money and it's now "no longer available" - that is ripping people off.
At least Windows, when you purchase something, gives you the option to have a hard copy sent to you, if you decide you want that. Apple does not via App Store.
This is another way Apple makes their money - take the money and run.

Earlier versions of FF let you right click on a tab to bookmark it. Why is this no longer available. You can only bookmark all tabs :0(

Earlier versions of FireFox let you right click on a tab to bookmark it. You can no longer do this , you have to go to Bookmarks and bookmark page. Bummer :0(

You could always go into the tab and right-click the page, and select 'Bookmark This Page'.
Or alternatively, go into the tab and click on the star on the right end of the navigation bar. Click the star again if you wish to edit your bookmark.

Because they are discontinuing this phone...you can get the iPhone 4S, 5C, or 5S now. (Depending on your country).

Why is the album no longer available?

John Mayer Trio released on iTunes the single for "Who Did You Think I Was" which included the song "Come When I Call". I know people who have bought this single from iTunes but when I search for it now, I can't find it. Can someone help me find it or explain why it is no longer available?

You intrigued me because I wasn't aware of this "B" side song. If you go to John Mayer's website, it looks like the single "A/B side" release is no longer available. Now, all you can buy is the trio's full-length album--which doesn't include this song. What a shame--it's a good song! I was able to find a sample of "Why don't you come when I call" online and listen to it. I hope it appears on a future album.

For Lion you'll get a redemptions code and need to DL from the Mac Apple Store (requires SL 10.6.6+).

I cannot find any information anywhere on why it is no longer available, or when it will be back, can anyone here help me? I've contacted the developer but for the life of me cannot contact anyone @ apple. Very frustrating, they both still show up in the app store.

Still wondering the same thing. Why is Coldplay's beautiful LIVE 2012 content no longer available on iTunes ? Since I have previously purchased this concert movie , why is it no longer in the iCloud servers available to download or even more strange why is the 2003 concert movie available and not 2012 Live ?
I have talked with support and they have been great but the mystery has yet to be solved ! I have notified the Coldplay official website, and within the current
wave of new album buzz and promotion a 2012 piece of art can be ignored.
After watching the NBC special i immediately have fond memories of 2012 LIVE and I know it is available as a blue ray , so all is not lost, but in this new era of cloud computing from an iPad Air , aside from backing up on an airport extreme router , I can always hope my content will return considering the meta data of my previous purchase should push it back to my iCloud library. Meanwhile whether it's licensing, country regions of sale , or a server software glitch , who knows ,the wireless experiment must go on ! Even if it's repackaged the aesthetic value of that piece is worth repurchase !

I did not fail to keep a local copy. Fortunately, I have an iMac and I downloaded the movie when it was still in my purchased items list. I would imagine, however, that there are many people who only own an iPad/iPhone and/or an Apple TV and don't own a computer and therefore lost the ability to stream this item from iTunes. This, after all, was the promise of the "Post-PC world" that Apple was "ushering in" (and yes, I recognize that the person who said this at the 2011 WWDC keynote - the SVP of iOS Software - is no longer employed by Apple).
And I do understand that content creators can remove items from the store, or modify "something" in the original (perhaps that even applies to "modified" artwork) and require people to re-purchase the item. In fact, I hope it occurs more often with movies, and perhaps even TV shows and music and books (sorry, you have to re-purchase the book because we replaced the original with one containing a new forward). Maybe then people will see that they are not actually "purchasing" the items at all, and that the whole "iTunes in the Cloud" is, at best, nothing more than a marketing gimmick.

If it's no longer available in your country's store then it's possible that the developer has removed it (or is it still in the store but hidden from Purchased ?). You don't have a copy of it in the Apps section of your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads/library that you could use to sync it to your phone ?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. Describe the problem as fully as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Why are certain movies no longer available?

My husband purchased Bicentennial Man on iTunes a few years ago and after Robin Williams death I wanted to purchase the movie for my iPad. After a frustrating search I see it is no longer available in the U.S. iTunes Store. I want to know why. Also, Aladddin isn't available either but you can get it on the European iTunes Store.

The owners of the distribution rights for the films make that decision. it's not up to Apple. Disney is notorious for this. They will make films available only for a limited time to drive sales.
Films may also be removed for periods of time if someone like HBO gets exclusive rights to air them for a period of time.

I've noticed Jon Stewarts The Daily Show is no longer available in the UK iTunes Store.
Will this be permanent?

Sorry, but you don't. None of us here, who are all just fellow users, know why the Daily Show was removed from any iTunes Store. It was certainly by request of the owner(s) of the show, but what their reasons are none of us here can say and Apple never comments on the reasons for lack of availability of any content.

This being a user to user forum, not Apple, we have no way of knowing Apple's policy regarding the availablity of movies sold or rented from the iTunes Store.
However, you can start a wish list.
In iTunes, click iTunes Store (below Store).
Find the song, video, or album you want to add.
Click the arrow to the right of the Buy button for the item you want to add:
From the menu that appears, choose “Add to Wish List:”

Why is Podcast 606 Football Phone-In no longer available in Ireland

Attempted to download Podcast 606 Football Phone In, it is a football phone in show from BBC Radio 5 in the UK. iTunes tells me it is no longer available in Ireland, just wondering does anyone out there know why?

It says the same for me but for Ireland read UK. (I am in UK btw).
Have had to download from BBC website and sync it onto iPhone.
