Why is Ink only ergonomic for right-handed people?

The Ink feels great in the right-hand, the twist in the metal puts the pen in just the right position, but in the left-hand, the twist is the wrong direction. The point of the triangle rests on the hand. Ink is lightweight but the twisting the wrong direction makes it harder to control. When will left-handed people get their own? I'm kinda disappointed in Ink.

Adonit (the actual manufacturers of Ink & Slide) makes a very similar product for less ($119) called the Adonit Jot Touch. In fact, it's basically the same thing, it has the Pixelpoint technology, the access to Creative Cloud, everything AND it is uniform/ambidextrous in design. So you might consider this option instead.
The Slide has come in handy for quick drawing but with Adobe's free programs (specifically Line), the features of Slide are still available with the Adonit Jot Touch without actually having Slide. BUT - apart from the effort of returning Ink & Slide - I kept Ink because of its amazing case. The Jot Touch charges with a dongle, Ink charges inside a protective case. I work between digital and traditional media, so I put my Ink into my pencil case with wood pencils, micron pens, lead holders and sharpeners (messy stuff). The case is just great (see my photo below of Ink inside its case).
As I stated above, the biggest problem with the handedness of Ink, is the fact that I paid $200 for it, it actually works great and is not uncomfortable, just not equal. Know what I mean?

Any recommendations for right-handed people?

My wife wants a Bluetooth two or three button mouse. I'll give you an idea of what she is looking for:
The Mighty Mouse is too light, the Apple BT mouse is too heavy. There needs to be a physical divide between buttons so that you can feel the edges of the buttons. Scroll wheel is nice, but not necessary. Color doesn't matter.
We had a Logitech Pro mouse a few years ago, and she liked the feel of it. That mouse had a bit of a hump on the back end, quite a bit more drastic than the Apple BT one.
I'm a bit partial to the IOGear BT mouse that has the USB charging connection and allows you to continue working while it charges. But having never felt it in my hands, I would like to know if someone else has thoughts on it. I know there is a Logitech Bluetooth mouse as well. Just trying to probe your thoughts or experiences. For some reason I can only send picture messages to people with iPhones,any ideas what it could be that's wrong??? This is the first iPhone I've ever had by the way,it's an iPhones 4S

Did you actually call your carrier and verify that? Or are you just assuming that, because it worked on your previous phone, the feature is on your account? Sometimes, when you change phones, things get messed up.

Problem: Why does this only work for powers of 2?

I wrote this program to create a golf league schedule for, ideally, eight players. However I want it to be flexible enough to permit for other denominations, such as 10 or 12. When I run the program it works perfectly for any number that is a power of 2 (2,4,8,16,32,etc...) but it will not work for other even numbers such as 6,10, or 12. If anyone has any insights it would be most helpful.

Ah, I have discovered the problem. The reason for the infinite loop was because of the resetting of the counter/index after every successful match entry back to (a - 1). This was causing matches to be put into weeks where they didn't belong, which caused the program to infinitely loop because it couldn't find an appropriate week to place it's next match. The only time the count should be reset back to zero is when a new player A is being processed or the last valid array index has been referenced before an out of bounds exception would be thrown. I'm still not entirely sure why this doesn't occur on powers of 2 but theh again I haven't put too much thought into it having solved the initial problem! :)

Headphone jack only works for right half headphones

I had connected my MacBook Pro to a set of speakers using the headphone jack. Ever since then when I use headphones the jack only outputs sound to the right side. There is no red light coming from the jack and I've also tried resetting the SMC but nothing has changed. Any ideas of what it could be?

I had the same problem but fixed it....go to settings , then scroll down to General, then scroll down to Accessibility , then scroll down to where it says L______________R , you will see a circle and blue line, drag this circle as it controls sound for left and right, it should sit in the middle of L and R , if it sits all the way on L or R it affects the sound coming out of the L or R earphones ,

Ipod sound only works for right ear

Hello. I have an Apple Ipod 5th generation. I have had it for a few months now. Lately, the right channel sound stopped working. Only the left ear works. It does not matter which headphones I use. If i pull the headphone jack out a little bit, I get mono in both ears. I have tried cleaning the headphone jack with a cloth covered screwdriver and alcohol. It made no difference.
Any suggestions, short of replacement of the headphone jack on the Ipod?

You should still have your warranty. Its for one year...found this out after my one year had expired so if you send it back to them you're still covered.

Why would flash only buffer for 5 seconds on espn following ads?

I'm having an issue with flash video playback on espn.com. Ads will play and the the video will buffer and play for only 5 seconds exactly. Sound and video are fine in the ad. This happens for me on chrome, firefox and safari. I uninstalled and reinstalled flash with no effect. Local storage setting are fine (and I tried clearing them as well. Other videos with ads play fine on other sites, it seems to be espn.com specifically. I'm running Yosemite 10.10 and flash NPAPI Plug-in version 16.0.0.257. Any thoughts? I need help!

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Why is Siri only available for the iPhone 4s?

I think Siri should of been available for iPad2 and iPod touch (4gen.) in the ios5 update. I mean if its just a personal assistant, why not?!

I agree that Siri should be available for the iPad2 (which has the same A5 dual core processor) and the most current iTouch4.
But that not withstanding. Is this the same Siri Assistant application that was a free app early last year 2010? When I got my iPhone4 (last summer) it was one of the first apps I downloaded but I didn't know how to use it well and it got loss in the abyss of my iphone apps library.
When I tried to use it again, it did not work, giving me a message "retrieval failed" Siri could not download required info from server. It is now longer available within the iTunes Store, probably since it was purchased and put in the new iPh4S as an exclusive.
Can I do something to make the original Siri Assistant app work on my iPhone4. It is too early for me to upgrade to a new 4S.

Why does iMessage only work for some of my contacts?

Having problems with iMessage. It will work for some of my contacts but not others. And those people arre having the same problem, works with other people but not me.. Anyone dealt with this?

1. Both devices have to be running iOS 5.*
2. Internet latency can delay iMessage connection. If you enabled "Send as SMS", the phone will switch to SMS if iMessage doesn't connect quickly. If you disable Send as SMS, more of your messages will go through as iMessage.

Why is IWork only free for new devices?

Will it ever be available on the App Store for free? Or do I have to buy a new device to get IWork? I really need these apps for school and I don't want to buy them if they are going to be free.

These apps are free for new devices. If you already have the iPad, you have to purchase them. They are not very expensive, so you can purchase iTunes gift cards and use them to purchase the applications. There's no other solution, apart from buying a new iPad

Apple - Right-handed customers only!

I'm steamed, finaly decided to get one of these iPhones so I went and got the new one today with all the hype. Then I kept having issues with it. After hearing the news reports today and looking into it I think I've got a good guess that nobody at apple is a south-paw, lefty, left-hand dominant user. Equal opportunity employer?
My new iPhone I got today is useless (no/limited reception), and upon reading all the news now it makes sence, I'm left-handed and my thumb will always be covering the antenne. When will Apple be producing the iPhone-4L or a conversion to allow left-handed users all the access and functionality offered to the right-handed consumer? Or will it be a yet-released $50 optional accessory like the "electronic-industy-standard USB cord I had to pay for because the 20 I have at home aren't compatable"?
Please at the very least note on the packaging that your newest product is recomended for right-handed users only for best results. Guess it's time to see what else is out there for us lefties.

Im not knocking you in anyway but i dont see why people would hold the phone at the bottom or the top for that matter, it seems so much more likely to be knocked out of ur hand that way. I hold it dead center which means none of my fingers will be near those sensors.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Featurs appin the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Why all of a sudden has one of my apps (Condition Report App) only displaying at the top right hand corner it is a quarter of the size it should be, i have tried setting my ipad back to factory settings and this hasnt helped some please help??? :)

One of my apps (condition report app) has decided to only display on the top right hand corner which is only a quarter of the screen, not sure what has happened as i have not changed any settings went to go into it one day and it was just like it.

Do you have the most up-to-date version of the app? Did you upgrade to iOS 6? Did you check to make sure that the developer has updated the app for the new OS? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app?
