Why is iPHOTO CRASHING everytime I try and load it. This has been going on for at least most of November?
Everytime I try and load iPhot it crashes and the same error message comes up and I send it to Apple. I haven't been able to get into iPhoto for most of November and the patches Apple have issued don't help. Any ideas?
The usual ones, delete your preferences, repair permissions and try to start it up with a new library. Temporarily rename your current library so that iPhoto will create a new one on startup.

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed. -
It will not connect but my other apple devices can connect and the wifi works very well. I have moved houses to my house wifi isnt the same as the old one. Also, i have to type in the password every time even if i click autosave. Sometimes it also says invalid password or connection timeout. This has been going on for two months and is getting really annoying. I've tried most of the solutions listed on other discussions, none of them work. Any other tips? Thank you. Ps i've had this macbook for 3+ years

I have set up Iphone4s with my pc and ticked only required songs to sync. I clicked apply and it has been going for over 12 hours on my Iphone just displayimg loading. The capacity on my iphone shows a capacity of 6.3gb used out of 13.6 Am i doing something wrong ?
Thanks for the replies. It took a while not hearing anything so thought I was alone. I have done many of the suggestions already. The key here is that it occurs on both phones with apps, and phones still packaged in a box.
A Genius Bar supervisor also checked his Verizon data usage log and found the same 6 hour incremental use. Suprisingly, he did not express much intrigue over that. Maybe he did, but did not show it.
I think the 6 hour incremental usage is the main issue here. I spoke with Verizon (again) and they confirmed that all they do is log exactly when the phone connected to the tower and used data. The time it records is when the usage started. I also found out that the time recorded is GMT.
What is using data, unsolicited, every 6 hours?

Why does it only happen on the iPhone 5 series and not the 4?
Since no one from Apple seems to be chiming in on this, and I have not received the promised calls from Apple tech support that the Genius Bar staff said I was suppose to receive, it is starting to feel like something is being swept under the rug.
I woke up the other day with another thought ... What application would use such large amounts of data? Well ... music, video, sound and pictures of course. Well ... what would someone set automatically that is of any use to them? hmmm ... video, pictures, sound. Is the iPhone 5 succeptible to snooping? Can an app be buried in the IOS that automatically turns on video and sound recording, and send it somewhere ... every 6 hours? Chilling. I noted that the smallest data usage is during the night when nothing is going on, then it peaks during the day. The Genius Bar tech and I looked at each other when I drew this sine wave graph on the log print outs during an appointment ... -
When I click on Firefox Icon to open browser a window opens that says..Firefox has had a problem and has crashed.It says a report will be sent to Mozilla and problem will be fixed when Firefox is closed,(It never opened),I click on close Firefox and it says a report is being sent.Then a few seconds later it says...Report successfully sent and closes.It also asked if I want Mozilla to contact me about this report,I checked yes and have recieved nothing.I WANT MY FIREFOX..This has been going on for since Nov.30th.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I'm charging my iPad. But everytime it goes to turn on it immediately shuts off. This has been going on for two hours. What do I do?
First, you can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
If yes, it may not be charging properly. Be sure you are using the charger that came with the iPad. The iPad 2 requires a 10W charger. If you are using a different charger, including the one that came with an iPhone, it will charge very slowly if at all.
Also try charging a different device with the charger to be sure it and the cable are working properly. -
Is there an issue going on with the iPhones? And iPads? I cannot send text pics. I can't get on Facebook, and I can't get on anything that uses Facebook ex Slotomania. This has been going on for a few days!!! It is happening with and without upgrades.
Contact facebook to address the facebook issues.

When I repair disk permissions using Disk Utility and it says it's completed the task, I click on it again and it repairs more. This has been going on for hours now. Could there be that many wrong permissions? Should it get to "all repaired" eventually?
It's normal behavior. You don't have to worry about. Most of what's listed is just a report of what the utility finds., not necessarily that there is omething wrong.

In the icloud settings, I am told I need to accept the terms and conditions to use icloud. However, when I click on "Terms and conditions", I get a message "unable to connect to server". This has been happening for a week now since I upgraded to iOS 7.06. There is no problem with my wifi or cellular connectivity, all other applications work perfectly. P.S.I have never used icloud before, but wish to do so now. How do I overcome this problem?
Have you turned the iPad off then back on? That often helps with problems.

Help please!
- Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens
- Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle with changes in noise level trying to be recorded.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/ZD1211Mac.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update.That driver appears to be for a Zydas wireless usb adapter. Zydas has been through a couple of different acquisitions and no updates appear to be available, so you'll probably need to delete that extension.

My yahoo e-mail is not pushing to my iPhone4, again. Had this same problem for several weeks in October/November 2011. It's been a problem again for two weeks now. My kids and husband have three other types of smart phones, and none of them have had this problem. I'm NOT impressed. I've seen that others in the iPhone community have also been having this problem. Is Apple doing anything about it?

I had to stop downloading a movie that I rented , not quite finished. When I tried to start the download again the message says waiting........but this has gone on for days. I want to finish and watch my movie. How do I restart the download or get a refund and start over?

Is this AppleCare you are calling? If it is, you need to call back. They are there to help you with technical issues, specifically ones with your computer. Or, are you emailing iTunes customer service?
