Why is it my flash works great for awhile and then upgrade and boom: skipping?

I am so very very tired of it. I'm running Mac Snow Leopard and it worked fine until that very last upgrade. Now all the videos are skipping the way they used to on my 'old' 2006 macbook. It's doing it in all browsers. Do I have to roll back or something? I've tried clearing cache and all that and nothing works. I'm on the latest version of flash player: 15.0.0.152.
I thought I was past this when I got my newer 2009 macbook and now it's back! How do I make it play right?

What doesn't work after 2 months? Having the issue present next time and contacting us (even if it means using a different browser) would help us troubleshoot your issue. At this moment we can't do much. I would suggest a clean reinstall:

I start the day with video and audio working but later in the day when i go to use it again I get connection failure - a computer restart gets things happening again. I am running through a router.

Hi John,
I would be wondering about the DHCP lease time and whether there is a drop in service from your routing device.
Small breaks in the connection will not be noticed by Web browsing or Mail. Normally it would be noticed by iChat if longer than 10 secs or so. Shorter gaps tend not to shut the Buddy list but may have you Off line.
If you are using DHCP on the routing device make sure the lease is about a day long at least.

I have a MAC OSX. Beta 4 worked great for 2 days then disappeared.

The Firefox logo remained on my dock, but clicking on it did not bring up anything. Computer sounded like it was searching and sometimes the colored wheel appeared and went round and round, but Firefox never opened. I shut off the computer and tried to reinstall Beta 4, but this time I got a "unable to mount" message. I was able to download the 3.6 version which is what I am using to do this. My MAC is 5 years old. Can it not handle Beta 4? Thanks.

P45 MS-7516 worked great for 2 years, suddenly won't post.

MB: P45 Diamond MS-7516 (v1.0)
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9550
RAM: Tried many types in differing slots.
PS: Antec 500w
Video: ATi HD4850
This setup worked great for close to two years, and today it suddenly won't POST. Immediately after pushing power button (most) all of the MB's LED indicators light, no beeps, no video output, but all fans spin. It stays like that until I turn off power supply.
Here's everything I've tried so far:
I switched out memory, tried one stick up through four in all configurations.
I checked power supply with DMM and all is correct.
I tried 2nd power supply (375w).
I reset CMOS, the correct way, via battery and jumper.
Triple checked all connections.
Removed MB from case and set on cardboard.
Reseated the CPU and tried a different heatsink.
The labels on the MB's LEDS are very hard to read. Can't really see which numbers line up with which lights. It looks like pretty much all of them are on.
1 on and blue
2 on and red
18-22 (top right) all on and blue
4 on and red
9-16 (that whole 4 group thing) Each group has one Red on.
And there's a few more I'm leaving out. Basically they're all on.
I don't know if this is relevant, but immediately before this problem started (remember pc worked great for 2 years) I was booting up Linux off a Sandisk thumbdrive. Ran into some boot issues, hard reset, and then wouldn't reboot or even POST from power on.
There have been no power surges or electrical storms.
Judging from my process of elimination, I think it must be the CPU or MB. I'm hoping I don't need to replace both. Any ideas?

Thanks, that makes perfect sense.
But given that this MB worked for so long with one PS, and just out of the blue stopped working, and that another PS (one which the store uses specifically to troubleshoot) was tried, and that all other components (RAM, VGA, CPU) have been replaced and the MB still has same behavior, it seems extremely likely that the MB is to blame. Am I wrong in that assumption?
I'm also assuming, from the lack of responses regarding the MB's diagnostic LEDs, that having them all lit is not a meaningful code. Is that assumption correct?

Snap to beat markers: I'm using iMovie 11. Trying to prepare short movie of holiday using 2 or 3 songs and snap to beat feature. It worked great for first segment/song but I can't seem to get it to work for the second song. Help please.

I'm using iMovie to prepare a short holiday video. Snap to beat markers worked great for the first song but doesn't seem to work when I try to extend my project with a second song and more video and stills. I dragged in the song and marked the beats but when I bring in stils and video clips they just ignore the beat markers. Can anyone help please. Thanks.

I am having the same issue. The first song and beat markers work great. I add a second song and set beat markers. When I add photos, the appear at random spots with random lengths. I haven't seen a pattern yet. Spent 30 minutes on this topic at my last 1:1 session in the store. No luck figuring it out.
One work-around might be to create one song per project (so beat markers work), then combine the two (or more) projects. But I'm not sure if that's possible or how to do it.

The compiler is highlighting the areas you got wrong, although the error messages are somewhat confusing.
Error 1: NSLog is a function and needs to be called as such, see e.g. the circleArea call on the line above. Functions are called using the function-name with its arguments in paratheses e.g. foo(12, 13).
Error 2: looks like a typo, defining a function is done as function-name(... <arguments> ...) { ... <body> ...}. In your code there is a ";" between the arguments and the body that should not be there, you probably copy pasted it from the forward declaration at the top of the source codde file.

No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

Why won't my iMessage work on my iPad since I upgraded it to iOS 7.1.1? I spent 2, 1/2 hrs on chat with the service techs and even they couldn't figure out why when I try ti send messages the person's name comes up red and says they are not registered and a big red REMOVE is in the box. My ipod classic 160gb will be playing fine then it sometimes freezes up or start shuffling through the songs not playing at all. After i reset it works ok for a while then same thing. Bought this so i could control through my steering wheel/radio.

I sure hope someone can help me with these ipod classic 160gb issues.
My ipod classic 160gb will be playing fine and then freeze up (unable to move around in it at all) and i have to reset it. This happens constantly whether in my car or when i listen at work. After i reset it works ok for a while then eventually requires another reset.
Another problem is that it will be playing fine and then start shuffling through songs without playing them. The songs that get shuffled work fine in the itunes program but not on the device. A reset does not correct the problem with these particular songs.
Also, sometimes when it is working and not freezing up or shuffling through, it will appear that a song is playing (in fact it says "now playing"), the song titlte is scrolling, but the song progression bar does not move. The count up in front of the bar stays at 0:00, and the count down at the end of the bar stays at the song length minutes not counting down. After I reset, it works fine and all the songs will play.
The reason I got this thing was because i can control it through my steering wheel/radio while i'm driving. I previously had a Zune 80gb which i'm glad I held on to. I have over 6600 songs (so I'm obviously a serious music listener and obviously frustrated), but only about 10 songs were downloaded through itunes, the rest I either ripped or downloaded from other site. From what i've been reading it sounds like there's a lot of ipod owners out there experiencing similar problems. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve these issues for me and everyone else? I got my first iphone 8 months ago, then the ipod and was considering an ipad. But in light of my ipod issues.....

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.
