Why is it saying document could not be autosaved?
I'm working in pages (mavericks) and it won't let me save my document. A popup appears saying document could not be autosaved?- Why

Not Autosaving and not being able to Save are two different things. Are you sure you can't do either?
Many users, including me, have occasionally received that warning about Autosave. For most of us it's just a nuisance and has not caused a noticeable problem.
I suggest that you just go about your work and see if it becomes a problem. There have been many suggestions about what might be happening, but none that I'm aware of have been proven conclusively. In my opinion it's probably just a temporary glitch in network access.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

I opened a new document in Pages 5.2 and a Pop up message appears; "the document could not be autosaved." First time I have seen this. Went to manually save the docement and another message appears; "the document "Untitled" could not be saved as "Project Portfolio" [my document title]. Then, Pages would not let me duplicate the document.
I suspect something may be missing and I need to reload Pages. Is there another way?

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. Ap store says "we could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer". I'm running 10.6.8 duel core intel with 15gb of memory. Any ideas on why I can't download?
Thanks.If the OP has this much RAM in their iMac, certain this Mac can run Mountain Lion.
The reason it might not be installing is that 15 GBs of RAM.
Your iMac should have (4) equal sized, 4 GB sticks of RAM for a total of 16 GBs.l
If your iMac is only reporting that there is only 15 GBs of RAM, you have a RAM stick that is either not seated in its slot properly or is defective/going bad.
This maybe the reason that it won't download it.
Also could be you are running out of free space on your HD.
You need, at least 15-20 % or greater free space left on your HD. -

If you are using a USB hub, don't. Connect directly to the computer. Disconnect all other USB devices except for keyboard and mouse.

when i try and open itunes a memo pops up saying "itunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected" my iphone is not plugged into my mac so i dont know why its mentioning an iphone nor why i cant open my itunes library?
Each time you connect your iPhone to iTunes, you need to eject it before closing iTunes by clicking on the little "eject" icon shown in iTunes. It seems that sometime in the past, you did not do that.
I'm not sure how to undo the previously done damage, but maybe a reboot of your Mac would help. -
Printing error "The document could not be printed", ok "There were no pages selected to print" WHY?
I have a file that is 2.52MB and when I go to print it it gives me the error box "The document could not be printed" I click OK and get "There were no pages selected to print" I made sure that I chose the All pages button. I also tried the Pages and selected all the pages. But here is the funny part. I have Adobe Profesinal and I have converted imged PDF' to searchable PDF's meany times. Although the original document was already searchable I ran the convertion tool on the original searchable PDF and now the file is 33.5MB and now I can print this document. Is there a security tool that was added to the original document?

I keep getting a warning stating that the document could not be auto saved in pages. The file has been changed by another application. Then it says click save any way to keep your changes and save the changes made by the other application as a version, or click revert to keep the changes from the other application and save your changes to a version.
What in the heck does all that mean, and why are they trying to behave like a Windows product or a Microsoft office product. I just don't get it.
Why is another application changing my documents? It's like they've created a virus within their own programs. It's a pain in the neck and makes no sense.I am also having the issue of a warning saying "could not be auto-saved in Pages. The file has been changed in another application. I then hit "save anyway", the warning will go away for a time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hourr, but then the warming reapprears saying the same thing. Went on the internet on Friday but a box appeared saying firefox could not verify web page and somebody could be trying to impersinate the web page this was my home page it gave me two options the first was get me out of here or that I understood the risks and to continue I clicked the latter and my home page came up this box continued to appear on each occasion I tried to acess any web pages but when I tried to acess Facebook the box only gave me the option of get me out of here it also did this when I tried to acess Mozilla Firefox to see whether there was a problem with the browser I tried to reinstall the browser but the problem persisted I finally got round the problem by reinstalling my computer to an earlier time before I did this I also have the option for Google chrome on my computer and this browser worked fine Facebook etc I prefere Firefox but although the warning box hasn't materialised since I reset my computer Firefox has become unstable where it has frozen on a web page and the only way I can get out is to start the task manager and end the programme even though the task manager is saying that the page is still working correctly but after I have ended the running of the programme it will not reload the firefox browser but again google chrome is fine I have to restart the computer to fix this problem any ideas thanks.

I have interactive form which contains static fields,text fields,Document digital signature and a submit button.
After filling and signing the form it will ask for saving the form.But saving is giving error.

Integrated into WD application means -> Interactive form generated in SFP transaction is used in abap webdynpro application.
Offline scenarion -> Since it is an interactive form, user will fill the form offline and submit it by email.From the webdyn pro appliaction user will download the form to the local desktop.Fills it offline and submits the form.
Now the interactive form generated directly from sfp tcode is working fine.I can fill the form,Sign it, save it and submit the form.
But the form downloaded from the WD application cannot be saved and is not allowing to dogitally sogn the form.
Its giving error The document could not be saved. there was a problem reading the document(26).

Document could not be saved error
Whenever I go back to a PDF that I created or downloaded, and add comments or highlights, and then try to save it, I get an error message saying "The document could not be saved. The file may be read only . . ." But the file is NOT read-only and there are NO security settings. What gives?
I am a heavy user of Adobe Acrobat. Every time we edit a PDF file and click on the save button to save the document it comes up with an error message. I spent hours researching the issue and talked to their tech support people and reluctantly followed their suggestions to the effect of closing the preview pane to no avail. The only I have found that works is to close the Windows Explorer window and then save the document. Even if I move the file selector to a different folder or file it does not work.
This absolutely one of the most ridiculous bugs that Acrobat has ever had and it seems they are putting their heads in the sand and not addressing it. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNCONSCIONABLE TO HAVE SUCH A BUG ACROSS SO MANY VERSIONS (v. 9-11) OF A SOFTWARE AND NOT HAVING IT FIXED.
Adobe wants people to close the Windows Explorer every time there is a slight change to a PDF file and for us to reopen it over and over again. This is absolutely ludicrous and absurd.
Arrogance and cockiness of Blackberry people cost them their business, deal with this bug before you become another Blackberry.
